Stopped by for dinner, no other customers were in the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and quick. The problem was having to listen an off duty waitress (Ryan) ramble on in a very loud voice all about herself, her other boss at another restaurant. This went on for the entire 45 minutes we were at the restaurant. So disappointing.

Went here for lunch with my family yesterday. Great experience. Friendly waitresses. I asked for my burger well done and it actually came well done! My son loved the Mickey mouse pancake :). Average prices. Way better than dennys. Will definitely be going back.

Great food value and service plus i wasn’t surrounded by rightwing idiots which was a huge plus. This is my favorite breakfast place in ukiah

This seems like your average diner. I don’t have any complaints. Always seem to have good service and fair prices. I like this place.

What a wonderful surprise this place was. We were traveling along the 101 and got hungry. We found this place on The main drag. Some outdoor seating and inside many booths and tables. Menu was expansive with breakfast items sandwiches and salads. Our server took our drink order right off and then told is on the nights special which was rib eye steak mashed potatoes fresh veggie and soup or salad for $ 12.95. Salad was fresh. Blue cheese and rad eerie vinaigrette were good. Steaks came out as ordered rare. Broccoli and carrots were fresh and not over cooked. Potatoes were a little dry but extra butter helped a lot. fresh garlic bread came with the Meal. Restaurant was clean. Bathroom was clean service was great.

Looks like there’s been some changes to this place. Remodeled the front to seat more people. And the outdoor dining area looked much more inviting. It was a beautiful day to dine outside. I loved the food, ordered the chicken apple salad and hubby got the giant California burger. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out perfect. Hot crisp fries, fresh toppings and great presentation. Quality and taste went hand in hand. I will most definitely be back!

Great «locals» restaurant. Traditional breakfast menu. Food was very tasty, service was great and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. It’s an older building but don’t let that deter you.

Another hit miss Diner in Ukiah. If you feel like playing the lottery here you go. The service is OK. You never know if the food will be though..

I wish I could give a two and a half star instead of three. It wasn’t bad, but the minus a half would be that the service was a bit on the bitchy side. Salad was a little off as it was like a regular salad with a couple of scoops of three bean salad mixed in with it. Reuben sandwich was a little bland, and fries were par. With the options available, I’d go back if I were really in the mood for something only they had, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

My boyfriend found this place a few Wednesdays back, and claimed the lunch special (some chicken sandwich) was amazing. He went two weeks in a row and on week three he took me along. This place is weird. The inside is incredibly tacky, and so were the waitresses– wearing tight black mini skirts shorter than their aprons! It was like walking into a strip club or something. Very inappropriate. So I sat down, looked at the menu, ordered a caesar salad (which, by the way, is spelt 3 different ways throughout the menu) thinking it was a safe bet, and waited for my food. I guess I ordered wrong, because I got a little lettuce with my dressing. The lettuce was seriously swimming in the what tasted like italian dressing. I had three bites and was sick of it. I ate my boyfriends fries for lunch. He said his sandwich had gotten worse each week, and apologized for taking me to such a place. We will not be going back.

I’ve been here half a dozen times. Good food. Average. Dennys-​ish. Usually okay to lame service. I will try to find a better place because it isn’t worth eating ok food with bad service.

When I arrived for a late dinner (7:30 PM), I was seated immediately, and given the special & full menus. My drink was served within 3 minutes, and my order was taken just a few minutes later. I wanted something that was not on the menu, so they special made it for me, a hot roast beef sandwich, the pricing was about what I expected to pay. although they do not have s senior menu, they do offer a 10% Senior discount. Next time I am in town at meal time there is a very good chance I will return.

Unfortuanately… this was not how I wanted to end my great week with my family on a road trip. We stopped here for lunch on our way back to the Bay Area from Humboldt. We were starving and ready to eat!
The setup of this place is strange and it’s pretty obvious this building in one part of it’s life was a drive-​thru something. When we walked in, we were immediately seated at a large table in the back room. This place is a lower end Denny’s on a good day. Carpets were dirty, some of the upholstery was ripped and busting out stuffing… this place needs some mending but it looks to be a hot spot with the people of Ukiah because it was busy.
Our waitress was nice but she wasn’t the best at service. We all ordered our food and received our drinks promptly. When our food arrived, my Grandma and my Uncle’s food was wrong. They both ordered ham sandwiches but my Grandma asked for Sourdough and my Uncle asked for Rye. They received turkey sandwiches on sourdough?! Not sure how that order was messed up or how she missed it before giving it to them. My Uncle was fine and settled on eating it but Grandma doesn’t like turkey and wanted Ham. We mentioned this to the waitress and no «Sorry» or «Opps»…nothing. She simply grabbed the plate from my Grandma and walked away. Uhhhmmm okay? She did come out with the right order and just placed it in front of Grandma… again no apology or anything acknowledging the mix up. It wasn’t a big deal but I thought she could have been a little nicer about it.
Food here is mediocre and overpriced. I ordered the BLAST which was their version of a BLT. For $ 9 it was okay. My Mom and I shared it along with a huge salad that was $ 9. Yes…$ 9 for a salad! Bleu Cheese dressing was good but I don’t recommend the raspberry vinaigrette. There is nothing vinaigrette about it. It’s super sweet and resembles melted ice cream. My whole family was not thrilled with their lunch unfortunately and felt it was overpriced for what what we got. Service is not very good here either.
I would go elsewhere if I was in Ukiah again BUT if you do stop by… you have to check out their women’s bathroom LOL! It will give you a good chuckle ;)

This a a throwback to the past, when small town diners were THE place to meet and eat! Don’t be put off by the unassuming, bland storefront. We searched online for a comfortable place to meet up with family who lived in the area, and decided to try this café, based on previous reviews online. We were not disapointed! The have a extensive menu, and all of it is prepared to order. Our group all ordered a different dish — veggie burger, cheeseburger, chicken salad and quesadillas, and shared a couple of sides. All were very tasty, and served with good presentation. The potato salad is excellent, and the fries were not greasy — almost like homemade fries. It was a birthday celebration, and the house policy is to give the birthday person a free piece of chocolate cake. It was very, very good! We also tried the vanilla ice crean and Fudge Fudge brownie, and loved it, too. The environment is, as I said, comfortable. Although we were there for lunch, our server said breakfast and lunch were their busiest meals. Oh yes, our server. She was great. Couldn’t have been nicer and very attentive. Our water glasses were re-​filled several times and she was easy to talk with. All in all, this was a really pleasant experience, and we would go back again, and will look forward to doing so.

Randomly selected this place and was shockingly pleased. It’s a very simple basic place. Nothing fancy. I don’t know about you, but 90 degrees + 11:20 am + covered patio is greater than freezing cold air conditioned booths. FANTABULOUS. Ordered the chorizo scramble which came with two piping hot tortillas, half an avocado, and hash browns. It was delish! Boyfriend ordered club sandwich and he was oh so impressed because it was a real club, you know, the kind with three slices of white bread. The waitress was really sweet and even though we were the only peeps out on the patio, she was very attentive and great about refilling our beverages. Will definitely come back if I’m up in the area again.
