If I could curse this place out in my review I would. Worst customer service I’ve ever had in awhile. So much so I wanted to throw my drink at this woman employee trying to get sassy with my family. First of all why would you seat a party of 20 in a space that has already been reserved. And then while the party is eating you tell them they have to pick up their plates and move to another table because the party has arrived? We’ve only been eating for 30 minutes! Not coming back to this buffet ever. There is plenty of other places in the bay. I can take my money else where.

I was Rolling my Whip Blue Thunder thru Union City. When I saw this Buffet. I usually don’t like Buffets because the food quality isn’t there. Unless your at a buffet in Vegas they have great quality food. But since I had not been to a buffet in a while, I figured I would give this one a try. So I parked my Whip in the parking lot. I rolled into the Buffet and was greeted and seated. I ordered a Coke and headed to the steam tables. What I saw was very disappointing. Nearly empty serving trays. What food that was out looked old or had been sitting out for hours . So I went to the Soup Kettles where I was surprised to see Sharks Fin Soup which I grabbed a bowl. It was pretty tasty. I then grabbed a clean plate and went to the Sushi table the Unagi looked good so I grabbed a plate of which was ok. I then grabbed another plate and grabbed a few pieces of Shrimp Tempura which was cold and soggy very disappointing . I grabbed a clean plate and went to the Sashimi table. The Sashimi looked like a 5 year kid had cut the pieces. It looked and tasted like it been sitting out for a while. I went and grabbed a clean plate and got some Salt and Pepper Crab and some Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Disappointing both had been sitting out for a while. Very Dry and Over seasoned with Salt . I then went to the Dessert area. I tried to get some Softserve Ice Cream but it came out Watery. So I grabbed some Cookies and Pastries but they were Stale and Hard . I grabbed a piece of Flan and it was actually good. I went to use the men’s restroom and it was disgusting and dirty yuck. There was a hole in the floor, that has been plugged with a old can lid. On the Positive side they take Discover Card. For me the quality is not there. Hell the quantity wasn’t even really there. I won’t be back. I was very disappointed.

Great Selection of Sushi. Love the Mongolian food section where you can get fresh food cooked right in front of you. Typical buffet style food as well. Clean place and service is good as well. For the price, you can’t beat it for the selection of sushi they prepare.
