Best sam sams ever! Actually I’ve only had the«After the Game» which is a local fave so I believe only available at this location. Anyways, it’s LIFECHANGING. It’s roast beef, melted pepper jack, bbq sauce, baja sauce plus the regular toppings. Their cookies are usually stale or hard but I don’t care because my sam is just tooooooo good.

Love their sandwiches, especially their wide variety of bread(Dutch crunch is my favorite). It is definitely a fulfilling lunch as it comes with a free cookie. I try to order something different each visit, but my favorite is the Reuben and my girlfriend really enjoys the Fast Eddy. It can get super crazy during the lunch rush but they have two counters with 2 people making sandwiches, so the wait isn’t as bad. The workers are very friendly and helpful despite the craziness. I’m so glad they added a location here!

It appears they give an extra slice of meat and charge a nickle less. Good bread, good sandwich. It is a good size sandwich but I like mine even bigger. Free cookie. Four stars from me.

Overly hyped, maybe? –_– Solid, 3.5 stars. Don’t get me wrong friends, I love me a good sandwich when the time is right and if it has all the right fixings. For starters, do not come to this location between the hours of 11:30−2pm, it’s SO packed with the lunch time crowd which results in a slight wait time. To avoid this place your order via phone or online! The hubby and I tried the The Mr. Pickle sandwich which included«all the ingredients», chicken, avo, bacon and I added the baja sauce. I don’t know if it was because I was hungry that the Sammie tasted SO delicious, but at the end, the sandwich wasn’t anything too special. Today my favorite thing was dipping my Jalapeño chips in the cold macaroni salad side, thumbs up.

Delicious fat sandwich other than them offering me a cookie and charging me for something they said comes with it it’s great

I enjoyed my sandwich. I ordered online through Unilocal for the first time and it was simple and awesome. By the time I arrived, Mr. Pickles had my order ready. Nothing fancy about this spot. It’s your typical sandwich spot but the sammies seemed to contain high quality ingredients. YOM!

The bread is awesome, portions great and they gave me a cookie! The downside — the potato salad had hard chunks of potato: P

I use their Eat24 app to order all the time. My favorite sandwich is the Manhattan on marbled rye. Recently tried the chicken salad sandwich. It was rather dry, so make sure you ask for additional mayo.

I’m writing this review immediately after my boyfriend realized that the expiration date on my Sierra Mist bottle is TWO weeks old. Today is January 25, 2016, the expiration/best by date is January 11, 2016. NOTACCEPTABLE. It seems that there is an ongoing trend at this location, and I hope management/corporate does not take this lengthy review lightly. Once I’m called up for my turn to order, I first ask employee #1 if there are any nuts in their food, as I am severely allergic to all nuts, peanut and tree nuts.(I’ve asked this at every restaurant/shop I’ve eaten at.) Employee #1’s response: blank. I ask again, she mentions lettuce??? I ask for a third time, and her two other employees behind the counter respond for her(according to them, nothing contains nuts except for the PB sandwiches). There was a woman behind the register, not sure if she was the manager, but she did nothing to help and remained silent. Employee #1 finishes making my two sandwiches, which took a while(maybe I’ll return to this review and edit later so I can provide the exact details). I’m finally at the register, and employee #1 is about to put two cookies into my bag(they come free with your sandwich). I stop her and ask if she is sure there are no nuts(during my first visit to this Mr. Pickles last year, I was told there were nuts in their cookies… What is the correct answer?!) She once again looks confused, has no answer, and asks employee #2, the lady behind the register. Employee #2 mumbles something while I’m in front of her, and together, the two women say an unsure no, and that there is only chocolate. Even though I doubt their response, I accept the cookies. While I’m waiting to pay, I notice plenty of customers still waiting for their food, or waiting for the employees to fix their orders. I’m sure there were at least three customers with errors in their orders. I know we all have bad days, but this was just an unpleasant feeling. As employee #2 is ringing up my sandwiches, I grab a Sierra Mist bottle from the front row of their refrigerator filled with plenty of soda/tea/water bottles and cans. After paying, I finally head home. Now back to my first paragraph in this review… I’m finished drinking about half of my Sierra Mist bottle when my boyfriend says, «No wonder why it tastes weird.» I respond, «What are you talking about?» He points to the Sierra Mist bottle and tells me to look at the expiration/best by date. He says, «It’s two weeks old.» I check the bottle myself(shown in my photo) and it is indeed expired!!! I sure hope I don’t sick from this. I’M DISGUSTEDANDDISAPPOINTED. In summary, I highly recommend that this Mr. Pickle’s shop: –Takes allergies more seriously and into consideration. –Re-trains their employees on their policies/procedures. I’m sure they’re supposed to check inventory on everything and not let their customers purchase EXPIRED beverages.(This is unfortunate to the other employees that may have been doing their job correctly.)

I usually get the Mr pickle, it’s the chicken breast avocado and bacon and I get it on Dutch crunch. I guess I don’t ever get anything else. My girlfriend likes the vegetarian sandwich on Dutch crunch and says they make a good vegetarian sandwich. Friendly staff and it’s always really quick when I go in there.

What a delicious sandwich! Stopped by about 10min before they closed and the employees were still happy to help us. I ordered the Reuben and it was glorious! They rye bread was very soft and thick and the pastrami was tender. The 1000 island sauce was bomb!!! Will be coming back for sure!!!

Great sandwich, large portion of fresh, juicy turkey and crisp, flavorful bacon. I added avocado and it’s a half avocado portion which is very fresh. The dutch crunch bread was also really good, soft but crunchy as expected. The customer service was great too. You can tell that they have regulars who they recognize and know their orders already when they see them coming, which I think is always a good sign. The girl helping me was really friendly and totally put up with me adding a bunch of stuff to my order and changing my mind on stuff. At the end, she almost forgot the avocado(but remembered right before she wrapped it up), and then gave me a free cookie«for the long wait.» Didn’t seem long to me, but I super appreciated the gesture and the delicious cookie! I’ll be back to try some other options… or I’ll stick to my favorite usual order since you can’t go wrong w/turkey, bacon, and avocado. Mmm.

Was on my lunch break and thought of eating chipotle… BUT I accidentally found this place and thought of giving it a try(since, I see it a lot on Instagram and what not) Walking in, I was a bit confused about how to order and where to order since there weren’t any direct signs saying«PICKUPHERE/ORDER HERE», like a typical Subway or Quiznos would. So, I went to the register and told the cashier of what I wanted — a Reuben sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. She then directed me towards the far end of the counter and had me start there. So, I repeated my sandwich order. They’ll ask what kind of bread you’ll like and if you’d like«everything» on it. Choice of Breads: Dutch, Sweet, Wheat & Sourdough Rolls, Sliced Wheat, Marble Rye «Everything» Includes: Mayo, Mustard, Garlic Sauce, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Peppers, Onions For $ 10– you get a sandwich and chips. They do have a lunch special of 6″ sandwich with a side of their soup-of-the-day. Also, with every sandwich order you get a free cookie. Overall quality of the sandwich was good, very big and filling. I couldn’t finish the other half of the sandwich! In comparison to Ike’s sandwiches and Little Lucas, this will suffice if you’re not looking for something as quick as subway and Quiznos and looking for something that’s more higher quality. The garlic sauce that they use though is petty darn good! I’ll definitely be back during my lunch breaks again some time(:

The last time I went to this location(over 5 years ago) it used to be a Quiznos, but now that it is a Mr. Pickles I’m not even mad. This place does a fantastic job of satisfying your sandwich cravings! Once I entered all of the staff was friendly and welcomed me in. I looked at the menu trying to find the«Mrs. Pickles» sandwich since I’ve ordered it at other locations, but could not find it here. I asked the lady behind the counter if they had that and they said it is on their secret menu. It’s basically a Mr. Pickles(chicken, avocado, bacon, montery jack cheese) where you replace the chicken with turkey. So I asked to have it made on the dutch-crunch bread. The sandwich was about $ 8 but this thing was pretty heavy. You can tell that this sandwich is packed! They really make sure you get your moneys worth here and it also comes with a complimentary cookie! Overall I am very satisfied with this new sandwich shop and I can’t wait to try out their other sandwiches. Until next time.

Came here during the lunch rush on a weekday. It was filled with people who work at near by offices on their lunch break. The line was almost out the door. I got the after the game sandwich on dutch crunch with«everything» except mayo, mustard, and tomatoes. I only ate half and was so full! It was really good and great place for lunch. They also give you a free cookie with every sandwich purchase. Next time, I’ll be sure to utilize their online ordering so I can be in and out of there. Great addition to Union City.
