I have half an hour asking for help in cosmetics and nobody comes we are 6 people requesting help very very bad attention

As I write this review, I’ve been sitting in Walmart for 20 minutes waiting to get a case open in electronics so that I can purchase a game. Other people are waiting and the associate is yelling at them because she’s the only one working. Usually when I come here the lines are ridiculous because they are understaffed.

Update, I’m now leaving the store because I’m tired of waiting. I’ll just go to GameStop tomorrow. I’ve never been to a customer service establishment where «oh i don’t know» or «I don’t know where the key is» and then walking away is an acceptable. I thought y’all wanted my money. Guess not.

I usually shop at the Auto Mall location but
I was in the area and decided to stop by to pick up some items late at night. The first thing I noticed is how busy this Walmart gets, it did not feel like a Thursday night but more like black Friday. This Walmart is huge and I found some items that were cheaper than the Auto Mall location. The area is sketchy so be aware of your surroundings. Overall, not a bad Walmart to make a quick stop at.

Customer service desk on returns are totally incompetent and rude. Horrible customer service, they treated us as bad as you can and wasted our time. Made us wait 1.5 hours to return something! Kept blowing us off and in the end were arguing with us saying they can’t do the return. Must have blown us off 5 – 6 times and the store manager was doing it. Totally rude lady and didn’t have her priorities straight. Short-​staffed and all the employees are dolts that can’t find anything. F them.

I’m not even going to bother with the horror story. We all know what a terrible place this is. I was in a dire situation (flat tire and this was the closest place) and that is the ONLY reason I went there. No surprise, inattentive, unfriendly and total fuck ups. The only difference between that place and a third world swap meet is the at the swap they manage to do their job correctly.

A place where idiots work. A place where loyal customers are not recognized but violated. FUCK WALMART OF UNION CITY, CA: where dumb ass gorillas work as LP and assault women & children after WRONGFULLY accusing them. They endangered my children and hurt them physically in the process along with my wife. Don’t shop here alone ladies (or at all for that matter), bring your man with you or shop in a group. It’s not the other patrons you have to worry about, but the «enemies-​of-​common-​sense» who work there. No manager came to my assistance when I wanted to at least have my voice heard. Instead my request for a manager was ignored until I kept pressing the issue. There were some individuals who recorded the initial incident on their camera phones. Please to not buy their balance rotation plan. Tires did not shake before we had they rotated and balanced. We brought our car back and told them that tires shake like crazy at certain speed. They said because the tires are worn down so they can’t balance them now. They didn’t mention this before or after they completed the work. Yes took our money and run experience! Very disappointed with customer service and the woman mechanic – rude. Only Ivan was helpful and courteous with us. The one star is for Ivan and manager. We will not come back here for any service. We will make sure our family and friends will not bring their cars in either.

«The Fastest Cashier» in Walmart is call — Maris!!! If you’re waiting for his line, just say — good luck!!! Ops! Forget to let you know, Be Nice to this person, otherwise, you will get hard time when you check out!

This is the worst WalMart I ever visited. Pathetic customer service. Don’t dare to choose this store for store pickups. Their system is down frequently. After getting the item ready mail also, I had to return without having the item multiple times!

I called this Walmart and the phone rang 50 times no one answered. (in the middle of the day, open hours) I called back and it rang another 30 times until some one answered. The lady switched me to the car repair twice and no ever answered. I don’t remember how many times the phone rang, but it was for minutes. So disappointed.

Sadly, upon my arrival to present your store Manager with an award, I was greeted by the sight of tanks that have been woefully unattended to.
I see a drastic decline in the conditions again since my past routine visits to Union City.
Wini, the associate who was working there last night, was stoic and listened, as I pointed out the numerous infractions and dead fish stuck to and blocking the filter. The algae covering 75% of the glass, and garbage in the lower cabinet with the medications. There was also the very unsettling sight of a Betta cup sitting next to the sink containing several dead and rotting Betta’s. Besides this, finger prints, old tape and dirty glue from torn off stickers, cover the kiosk itself, making for quite an off putting spectacle.
Wini alerted Andrew, Manager on duty, who seemed genuinely concerned about the situation and assured me that all would be rectified. Wini volunteered then and there, and went to work, taking care of as much as she could,
As a faithful «Walmartian» I hate to see this happen.
I love the people, the culture, and of course the prices, but the fish tanks, when left to such enormous degree’s of putrefaction, are a real bring down.

Sunday was the worst yet for the flagging condition of the fish display tanks, The problem is beyond Walmarts controll. Its time that unit was replaced. Cabinet door was completely off its hinges. Tanks are crowded with dying fish. Will post pics.

This store needs remodeling and cleaning up and really needs to work on their customer service. The bathrooms are filthy and disgusting and have no seat covering. And honestly some of the people who shop here seem a bit creepy. There will be people standing out there asking you for money when you walk by. The store is messy and very crowded and aisles are crowded. There are SEVERAL aisles at the register that are open and good for use but there would be only 2 lanes open and a couple of self service check outs, so you will be waiting a long line. They have poor customer service here. The employees make nasty grumbling noises as they are doing their jobs, picking up the mess left in the clothing section.
Boxes block you from walking into the aisles and employees also block their customers and the staff and employees who work here are SO rude and have a nasty attitude. You will be stopped after you paid for your stuff to show your receipt. A lady who was looking at makeup got yelled at by one of the employees who work there, she said she wanted to buy it but the staff took it away from her and said they would throw it in the trash.
If you need help in the electronics section, good luck getting someone to help you, there is no one there to help their customers in that section. If you need to return something, be prepared to wait a long line.

Oil change department. I don’t understand how I can bring my car first thing in the morning to get an oil change and, somehow manage to wait 2 hrs before my car is finish. note (that I was the first one there.) Poor service. What else is there to write? it’s Walmart… :-/

I gave the 2 stars because there were 2 people that actually tried to provide me with customer service, otherwise ??? 2 hours for a oil change, when you can find someone working at the desk in the back, seating is limited with a tiny TV in the far corner. They say on the receipt that they check lights front and back and cleared all of them even though my drivers side rear break light was out. No vacuum done inside (customer had change on floor) was the reason noted on the paperwork. Dirty plastic cover left on the floor in the car. My oil change sticker left floating on the dash because «some customers don’t like it in the window». This was a move that I regretted, I will not let Walmart change my nail polish if they tried. WILL NEVER RETURN.

I always go to this Walmart bc it’s convenient for me. Don’t mind it much but I must say that there’s a weird pollution smell if you’re parked on the far left where their car service is. I’m just saying. To my surprise one day while walking to checkout, there were about 2 – 3 cashiers coming out of their lanes to to tell people they were open. WOW! My jaw dropped like, this never happens. That’s a plus.

One of the reasons I suspect that they are doing this is After a long day at work I park close to the oil and tire change place because I know the item that I want to purchase is closer to there thus reducing my amount of walking. Come to find out that they no longer allow customers to exit the tire and lube section as well of the garden section so all customers have to go in by front door and exit front door. Management didn’t bother to put signs up there this is no exits. And when I told some of them cashiers that they should do so they pretty much responded with a blank games on their face. Another reason why not the shop Walmart. One of the reasons I suspect they are doing this is because the stories turned out to be quite a ghetto area.

I never thought I would write a review for Walmart but I’m trying to catch up on all my old reviews today.
I came to this walmart a little before Halloween because i wanted to make some nice spooky drinks. I need corn syrup, red and green food coloring, some grenadine and black vodka. All of the ingredients were NO WHERE to be found. Furthermore, employees to ask for help were no where to be found. It was so frustrating. Once I finally tracked an employee down she told she didnt work in this area and made me wait another 10 minutes for someone who did. This person who did walked around with me for a few minutes and then told me to try a different Walmart.

Called to ask if they had an item in stock. The damn women couldn’t answer the phone nor transfer me to the correct department. Ended up calling ten times with only two answers and then when asked to transfer she just put me on hold and then click– hung up on me!
I guess they have incompetent people working. I guess that’s what you get shopping at Walmart. Really don’t shop here anyways. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I guess you get bad customers service and cheaper prices.

We all know Walmarts are busy, crowded, lacking customer service, etc. and I would not have bothered to write a review for this because it’s simply a given.
This review is for the pet department.
One morning while in the laundry detergent aisle I heard a gurgling sound. It wasn’t a normal sound so I walked around the corner to investigate. It was coming from the tropical fish department.
The water levels were so low that the filtration system wasn’t working. The water quality was murky there were several dead fish in the tanks and the remaining fish were at the water’s surface gulping for air. It was a horrible scene.
(For you Unilocalers questioning my tropical fish expertise: my dad raised tropical fish and I’ve been around them since my toddler days. Although he didn’t «teach» me on how to take care of the fish I learned by watching him.)
I’m not a person to complain about things but I grew up with fish, cats and dogs and this really dug under my skin.
I walked around looking for someone in the pet department. There was no one to be found. Laundry deterrent department? Nope, no one there either. I finally found someone stocking and dusting the DVDs. I asked for help in the pet department: her answer was there’s no one there. I asked to speak to a manager: her answer was that she didn’t see them. I asked for a manager to be paged: she just kept dusting her DVDs. (If I had a mirror I’m sure my face was strawberry red by then.) I told her why I wanted help (fish water low, they are gasping for air).you would think she would try to help me when I told her that but her reply was still «I don’t see any of them around» as she continued to dust the shelves. I told her I wasn’t leaving until I spoke to someone and she pointed me to the Customer Service department.
With my heart racing with anger I waited in the CS line. I had time to think this one out. Should I be one of those irate customers yelling and screaming in line? Are they going to drag me out screaming and kicking? Are the going to call the cops on me? Okay, plan B.
I asked the CS person for someone that could help me in the pet department. She pointed to a woman with the name tag as «department supervisor». I asked if she could follow me to the pet department because I needed help. As we were walking over there I asked her «are you guys busy here today?» She said, «not really.» (Ugh!). I asked her is someone in the pet department every day — she said «yes». A few steps more and we reached the rows of fishtanks.
Here we are, standing there in front of a gurgling filtration system, suffering and dead fish all around. I didn’t need to say anything but I wanted it clear to her and said, «you have a problem. If there is someone in this department daily this is unacceptable. The filtration system is not working, the water quality is horrible. There is not enough to water for the fish to breathe… look they’re all at the surface gasping for air! They are suffering.» Stuttering she said she’d get on it right away and left to look for people to help.
At that point I took pictures. Lots of them. Then I left. I couldn’t take it anymore. My brain was on overload. When I got home (across the bay) I doubted myself. Who was she getting to «help»? Do they even know about water quality and not shocking the fish? We they just going to pour buckets of cold tap water in the system? Should have I stayed and helped? *sigh*
I need to call Walmart Corp and show them the photos. I need to call whatever animal protection agency that monitors Union City. But Unilocal is also a powerful tool.
I AM HOPING THAT THE UnilocalERS THAT READ THIS POST AND SHOP AT WALMART OR ANY STORE THAT SELLS TROPICAL FISH OR PETS TO WALK BY THE DEPARTMENT AND DO AN INSPECTION AND IF IT DOESN’T LOOK RIGHT MAKE SURE A SUPERVISOR OR MANAGEMENT KNOWS ABOUT IT.
(Because the employee dusting the DVDs surely didn’t care.)
Walmart, if you even read your Unilocal reviews. get your act together! I’ll be making as many surprise visits as I can. I hope you correct your problem. Animal cruelty is no joke and you don’t want to be highlighted by the local news.

Let me give you the run down.
You want cheap? That doesn’t mean you’re going to get the best service. But damn, Walmart on point with their customer service in every department. They even remodeled their McDonald’s and every aisle is looking fresh as ever. Just smile and project your happiness and you’ll receive the same treatment!

This Walmart was one of the firsts here and one of the first stores in this Union City location. I grew up here and saw what once was a gladiola field and Drive in Movie Theater become Union Landing.
The parking situation here can be a mess and a lot of questionable folks come in and out of here including me! We were able to get our cleaning supplies that we needed and well that’s all. The one thing was questionable was the inability to find a price for an item when we did a price check at those price checking stands. How unuseful.
Good for cheap stuff, but only going here when we’re in the area.
