Good fresh food, but lacked comfortable dining environment. Felt more like a fast food joint instead of a restaurant. Waitress worked hard, but they need more staff, so service was slow.

The town of Union Gap is small and doesn’t have much to offer but Mongolian Grill is a great addition to the mall plaza. My friend and I visited this place starving. I was worried about the price and size of the food but my friend gave me a great tip when visiting MG, he said to just fill up any size bowl you get with as much food that you possibly can stack inside the bowl you get. Thankfully that worked out and I managed to pack a ton of fresh meat and veggies into my bowl. I got a small bowl that cost $ 7+, not too bad. I do like the sauces that they let you pour onto your food and the amount of freedom you have creating your bowl. The cooks are friendly and depending on who you get your food might come out good or great. The noodles here are not tasty though, I would say that the flavor comes with adding hot oil and other spices but that’s kinda the point of creating your own bowl. I would reccomend this place if you are in search of fast and easy asian food that won’t hurt your budget.

Eh, I wish I had listened to the reviews before coming into this establishment. Dirty and the cook wiped his nose before sticking it into my bowl! Gross… will not be back.

I love this place. The food is delicious and the staff are really nice. They are VERY understaffed(Friday night, one waitress).Try and come at an unusual time if you are expecting attention. But they are very kind when they do talk to you. And the noodles make up for it.

Food was excellent. I picked a medium bowl and was unable to finish. Interior was a little dated, but staff was very friendly and frequently checked on our table. If you like spicy food, give this place a try.

Worst service ever! It took us over ten minutes to get our sodas while tables who came in after us got theirs right away. Food was gross too!

Sharing the sentiment of Genghis, ‘as my calling is high, the obligations incumbent upon me are also heavy’, I will review. First to arrive at opening, the carpet looked trampled heavily by Khan’s horses. It could be from a surprising herd of locals that quickly filled the dual lines. Disregard the aged décor and the follow the regulars — stack your bowl as high as you can balance! Not a buffet, so you have one pass through to conquer a quick stir-fry lunch.

This place is pretty decent. The food is decent. I have been to better Mongolian grills, but its not bad. The place is kinda hard to miss if you don’t know where its at. But a quick tip to locate it is, its right next to a GameStop. So you can eat and buy a used video game all in the same hour. The sauces where kinda watery to the point its like they are trying to stretch them out to all possible usage. And on top of that the selection was not that great or sauces. But if you are craving a Mongolian grill the next closest one is in Tri Cities, Kennewick to be exact in the same shopping center as Men’s Warehouse. That one is a little better.

Mongolian by the bowl? [Okay face] Part of the joy of a Mongolian Grill is eating everybody under the table with unlimited froyo and the like. This disappointing pricing structure(and the lackluster sauce choices) make this a last-resort if you’re craving meat and noodles grilled in front of you by a bunch of dudes.

They have great food but very slow service. Always remember to put your veggies and meat in your bowl then put your noodles piled on top so you end up with a full bowl at the end. Their soup and rice is always good and they have water at the table so you can refill your glass on your own which is a nice touch.

I stopped in here on a weekend trip to Yakima. I’d say it’s a pretty good bet. I came in on a Saturday night and while there were a lot of people there, I didn’t really have to wait much. They are pretty efficient. If you haven’t been to a Mongolian grill before, you basically just fill up a bowl at a buffet-style serving area with your choice of vegetables, meats, and sauces. Then they cook it all for you on a big grill. Some places allow you to make return trips and some places ration the meat. This place does neither. Instead they take the approach of small/medium/large bowls. I had the medium and you’d be surprised what you can heap into one of those. It was plenty for me and came out to just over $ 10 with tax. Plus, you should tip the cooks. Maybe a little pricey for what is essentially stir-fry, but it was still a good meal.

This the only Mongolian Grill in our town, but fortunately for us, they don’t suck. You can’t go wrong eating here any time of day, but I highly recommend coming in after four because that’s when they pull out the crab, squid, fish, and shrimp. You can pile your bowls as high as you’d like, just remember to tip your cooks :) Not much to say other than, the ingredients are nice and fresh, the prices are fair, and the only way your food won’t be good is if you put stuff in it that you don’t like, which would be your own dang fault.
