wish had a 0 star for them customer service is zero as far as u r coming new as a new customer they are ok but once you are in the complex under their management they donot care for maintenance issues also they will provide you with worst superintendents and you r pretty much on your own please stay away from this company

I can’t even put it into words how terrible this company is. It starts with unprofessional communication, filthy apartments in desperate need of updating with completely outdated appliances, cracks in the walls, mold, bug infestations, non-functioning pool, laundry machines from the 70s that they charge an arm and a leg for that don’t work half of the time and can’t even fit bedding, they raise the rent every year by completely random amounts, and the list goes on. Also, they do not show leniency, quite the opposite actually, if you miss any type of deadline, say instead of cancelling your lease 30 days in advance you do it 28 days in advance then you have to pay another year of rent and you don’t get your security deposit back and if you try to reason with them you get attitude. If you are considering renting in NJ, I strongly advise you to steer clear of any Salem Management properties.
