I am in the area on business and had a last minute free evening and wanted to get a pedicure. At 7pm I called 2 place that were open to 8 first one said it was already too late to come in and the 2nd one said if I could get there within 15 min they could take me. Jumped in the car right away and less then 10 min later called them again to find out exactly where they were they were only to be told 2 other people had just came in and they could no longer take me. Frustrating! Drove around a bit to see if anything else was still open and happened upon Liz’s. By now it was 7:45 and their sign said closed at 8. Walked in and they were very happy to take me despite it being late. And 20 minutes later another women walked in for a gel manicure and they were also happy to take her! Pedi was fast but through and looks great! Nice to have good customer service and for them to stay open late when others wouldn’t.

My friend E & I were regulars at this Nail Salon. We primarily went there because they were cheap, quick and they took walk-ins. They did a sub-par job, but E & I don’t have a lot of money and needed pedicures. However, we had a bad experience last time we went. It was 2 days before E’s wedding. She had a toenail that had fallen off and she was looking for an acrylic toenail. Liz Nails was the only place that said they would do an acrylic toenail so we decided to get pedis there. I got there 1st. I waited for 15 min for E. They put me in a pedi chair while I waited. Then we waited another 20 minutes after E got there. E started her pedi first after she had waited 20 min and I had waited 35 min. I then waited another 25 min before they started my pedi(a total of 1 hour). I was ready to leave when they said«oh, we’ll take you.» The lady did an ok job on my toes and I decided to get a polish change on my hands because I was not going to spend 30 minutes on a mani — I’d already waited an hour. Now E. E got her pedi then went over to get her acrylic toenail. The man doing acrylics sanded on her bare toenail bed and her toe swelled up. When he applied the nail and then polished over it the polish-job looked like something a 5 year old would do. It was messy. The rest of her toes were done by a different person and they did an OK job but E or myself could’ve done it better. All in all, E and I were very upset with our service that day. We didn’t get any apologies for my long wait and no apologies for the crappy job done on E’s pedicure. This place doesn’t care about its clients.
