I really like their specialty pizza. The food is great, fresh topping and will most likely come back when i need a pizza fix! Just a bit pricey hence the 4 stars.

I’ve always liked Round Table and have always come here for Sports parties or just in general get together. I used to come here always as a kid to experience Round Table, but as I got older it seemed like the experiences got less appetizing. First, it’s expensive and everytime I come here, the staff always seems to hate their job. Second, the pizza is good but that’s it. It doesn’t exceed anything farther than that; i could seriously get the same quality at Dominoes or Pizza Hut for half the price. Third, Round Table is stuck in the 90s, from when they were popular. Same furniture, arcade, etc.

Let me start by saying we have always loved Round Table’s pizza, and have dined-in and enjoyed take out many times in the past. That being said, the last few times we have been there, we have noticed a serious decline in customer service and cleanliness. Tonight especially, it was borderline disgusting! We were one of three tables there at dinner. When we entered there were 5 employees behind the counter working. We determined where we sat based on cleanliness among the food on the floor and tables with dishes on them. It was slim pickings! The salad bar was not refreshed while we were there. The lettuce was all wilted and brown. There was food all over the bar and the floor. Under the cash register, the garbage was overflowing onto the floor. The girl at the cash register wore her gloves in food prep and while ringing the till. The list could go on and on… We were there for about an hour. Several employees walked out to bring food and not one stopped to clean tables, salad bar, ect… The pizza is always good, but if the establishment is filthy, which it usually is, you will not be able to retain customers. Nobody wants to eat in a filthy restaurant. No excuses– The establishment was more than staffed and there were very few customers for dinner service. Why is it so disgusting in there? Think this will be the end of our our RTP days… bummer!

Terrible customer service on 10÷9÷15! I ordered a pizza at 5:55pm. At 7:30(95 minutes later) I called because it haven’t been delivered. The person who answered the phone was cranky to say the least and not a bit apologetic. Apparently, I was bothering him to ask. At 8:00pm,(2 hours after ordering) my husband called. This time the manager answered and was cranky, did not apologize. At 2 hours and 5 minutes, the pizza arrived. Yep– cold and old– because it was made probably 90 minutes ago. Again, no apology but they kept their tip that we gave when we paid online. Heads up Round Table UP– if you treat your loyal customers badly and like inconveniences, they will go away. We have eaten at your restaurant over 300 times in the past 10 years, we have used your facilities for birthday parties and held various fundraisers for community events and schools in your restaurant. We will not be back. We will not use your restaurant for any more fundraisers of parties. We understand that sometimes drivers don’t show up for work or that restaurants get inundated with orders. However, you could have had someone call and ask if we wanted to pick up the order. You should have offered the pizza for free or, at the very least, given a coupon for the next purchase to be free. Perhaps, and I know this is a stretch, you could have apologized for being over 2 hours late! How would you feel if your family was waiting 2 hours for dinner? There are numerous pizza places and restaurants in town we can go to… these folks deliver on time, are polite, and seem to appreciate our business. Bye bye Round Table University Place WA

As a recent transplant from Sacramento where Round Table Pizza is very good. I was so happy to see one so close to home. At every visit the Pizza has been wonderful. On Sunday I ordered 2 large King Arthur Supremes with extra sausage and mushrooms for a Seahawks party. I ordered early and picked them up at 1 pm. Very Hot and piled high with the good stuff. My guests were pleasantly surprised how great these pizzas were. My thank you to Tara for her taking my order and timing the pizza to be ready at 1 pm.

It’s a hit or miss whenever I go here. I like their lunch salad bar lunch special combo though the salad bar is not always kept tidy and things seem to drop into the salad dressing like bacon or croissants. The pizza sometimes can be a little too on the salty side but on the other hand we have have rented their party rooms numerous times and the accommodations for those events make this place reliable to go to. Also instead of going to a bar when there is a Seahawks game going to Roundtable is a better alternative because there are hardly any people there and the game is always on their TVs. For as many people working there I think they could be a little faster with making their pizzas and the quality of the food could be improved though they are a little pricey they are in a convenient location

You can’t beat round table pizza. Nice crew and great pizza. This is the only franchise that makes breadsticks and not just Parmesan twists. Order more!

Ive been here many times without any issue however the last time I ordered to go they messed up the order and made the wrong pizza right at closing time. The guy working was awesome and quickly realized the mistake stayed later then normal just to make me the right pizza and let me keep the one he accidently made. Friendly people and polite. Will continue to get pizza from here!

We absolutely love coming here for the lunch buffet! Great variety of pizza(including dessert pizza), and if you don’t see your favorite, you can request it — they’ll whip one up. My favorite is the Maui Zowie — amazing! But really, they are all delicious. They have a loyalty program — I think it’s the 10th buffet is for free. One beef I have with this is you used to get credit for each full price buffet you bought(kid buffets are priced according to age — another plus). Now that they’ve moved to an electronic system, you only get one credit per visit no matter how many buffets you buy. We have a large family so that stinks. Wow, every 40th buffet is free. What a deal. They also have a play area with free video games and toys. The kids love it, and we enjoy getting some time to talk without interruption because the kids are always done eating before we are. With great pizza, super friendly staff, and a great family environment, we will keep eating here frequently!

You can’t go wrong with round table! I love the veggie pizza and the pepperoni pizza and the bread sticks are AMAZING. Not going to lie. I came here for a family birthday party, but otherwise I don’t think I would come here(too many kids, loud) but for the situation it was great. Plus I didn’t have to pay for my pizza.

This location use to be good. We come in a lot for the buffet. My wife takes the kids and grandkids to the point where most of the staff know her. Lately this location has gone way downhill. The salad bar is missing items, the lettuce is brown on the edges and the breadsticks are never refilled. If you go– the first hour is when to go after that the crew slows down and the place gets dirty. You will not get the variety of pizzas and a lot times the pizzas are under cooked or over cooked in the second hour. The crew does not clean up the back area and pizza are not refilled –you will find lines of people waiting for a slice of pizza. go right away Go @ 11.30 and you will get decent pizza with yesterdays leftover salad. Oh well pizza is why you are there

We usually like Round Table. But this specific location has just not been up to par the times we’ve come. The good thing about this location is the play area. We have a 3 year old and it makes dining in a restaurant a little easier. We can watch him play, and he can come and eat his pizza as he pleases. 1 star. The location is less then a mile away from our house and parking is never an issue. 1 star. ANNNNDD thats about it. The staff, i’ve found, has been fairly lazy. We only come during the buffet(my husband eats a lot of pizza) and the pizza keeps coming for the first hour. The last hour or so they slow it down A LOT. To the point of people having to ask them to make more pizza. I find that annoying. And here’s the best part. The salad. Don’t. EVER. eat. the salad. because. BEETLE. Yes, I said it. A live green little beetle laying on its back with it little stick legs wriggling about. It was not cool. And not pretty. And I almost upchucked my whole meal. It was in my dads salad, and thankfully I noticed it. We mentioned and showed one of the workers. And all she did was say, «EWW!» And then measly moved the salad around with the tongs. The manager apologized and refunded the salad. The salad. Really? We will come back to Round Table, but unfortunately, not to this location. Beetle should not be on the menu.

The last honest pizza. No reason to dispute that, at least with the major pizza chains. Riund Table delivers value. Note that the inside of this location is a little shabby.

I want to give this three stars but I can’t. Read on. The pizza here is pretty good. We come every couple of months for the Monday night all you can eat buffet. 5:30 — 8:00(?). They have three offerings for the buffet. Pizza & pop, pizza, pop, and salad bar, and salad and pop. The price has gone up over the years… I think the full deal for two will run about $ 23.00 right now. The salad bar: We used to get a plate, now we are given a bowl; this makes having salad plus side salads a little more challenging. The salad bar has a lot to choose from but often times the selection seems old. The cauliflower has brown tops, the cucumbers are transluscent indicating they’ve been frozen, the mini carrots have white running through them, the macaroni and potato salad have that light brown tint on top, etc. It’s good though when the selection is fresh. Frozen peas is a big issue here, they are ALWAYS frozen After about 20 minutes of buffet people the salad bar is destroyed. No lettuce, chocolate pudding in the ranch dressing, etc. This location never keeps breadsticks available. You may get some here if you arrive right at 5:30. After that, forget it. Since they have about 6 teens running the show it would be nice if one could stay on top of the salad bar. One will show up when there isn’t any lettuce, but due to the volume of people one should really be assigned salad bar/breadstick duty. On to the pizza. The pizza here is good. There are problems here though. Often times the teens making and cooking the pizzas cannot keep up with the volume. I’m sure it’s a bit of a juggling act, but if they monitored the amount of people entering… Lack of pizza causes a huge crowd to hover waiting for pizza. The problem is that there is such a small area between where the pizza is and where the pop machine is. It is difficult ALOT of times to get pop. When the pizzas do finally arrive, its a feeding frenzy and everything is gone poof. Also, depending on the maker, it seems as though they are making the pizzas they like. For instance, I HATE cooked tomatoes on a pizza but on a given night nearly every single pie comes out with cooked tomatoes. Or pineapple, again, my BF hates pinaeapple on pizza but on particular nights EVERY pie has pineapple. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to their pizza offering. Other locations, Hosmer and N. Pearl will allow you to request pizzas. I haven’t seen that at this location. There is no pasta offering here either. The aforementioned locations always have a pasta dish on the buffet area. There are mass kids here who are left unattended. Apparently the upstairs area has free video games or something so at least they are somewhat corralled. But these precious littles also want to eat and are not always supervised. Not the restaurants fault and not equated into this review… just something to keep in mind. They have some TVs so it’s nice to catch a Monday night football game while you nosh. The TVs in the banquet area need an upgrade. They have flat screens everywhere except here. The tables aren’t cleared often and I’ve witnessed a patron taking a pizza plate from one of the tables and enjoying the buffet. Overall… It’s fine. It isn’t worth the $ it costs now. $ 20 was fair for 2 and I’d pay it gladly. The price has increased but nothing has improved. For the same price we could eat steak, unlimited salad bar, spaghetti and chicken wings at sizzler with no littles running amuck plus flat screens. We never order a pie to go here. Too expensive.

Food is what you would expect from round table, better than the other chains but not the best pizza you’ve ever had prices are elevated compared to other chains as well. Service is meh, not great but not bad. They seem to let the tables stack before busing them. There is a gaming center in the middle that has kids running everywhere, but they have other areas with TVs so you don’t have to be in the middle if you don’t want.

Not sure if I like this one or the one in South Tacoma more. I think I prefer this one for lunch buffet and the other for dinner. I’ve been coming here for years for the buffet as well as meetings I used to have every Saturday for an organization I was involved with. This one is pretty spacious. Several different areas. Arcade games for kids. It’s great to have a dine-in pizza place still around. There aren’t many, especially in Tacoma. Food is good. Unfortunately they raised their prices on the buffet(which used to be the best deal of all time) recently. It’s still not expensive and I know it’s understandable with the economy. but it’s just kind of a let down. Really nothing else to complain about but maybe one thing… No disrespect, but like the neighborhood this Round Table lacks character. 3 stars.

I loved Round Table Pizza in California growing up and was eager to try it when I moved up here. This place was in disarray, tables piled with dishes, uncleared, kids running amok, a general air of disorder and possible uncleanliness. I cleared my own table to be able to sit. The pizza looked like what I remembered from my youth but did not taste like it. The pepperoni was bland, the cheese was just salty without richness or real taste, it was amazing that a pizza with about 10 ingredients can just taste salty and greasy with no flavor variations.

Being said that not many Pizza joints provide a place to dine-in, Round Table is known for this service. This is the local pizza establishment that my daughter’s school always supports. All the PTA meetings, school functions etc are held here in the room that is available. This visit was for my daughter’s end of the year party for her baseball team. I love there Pizza, it never fails and the salad bar they have is pretty darn good as well. The prices are a little higher but then again you pay for what you get right:)

Delivery times were over 2 hours(it was a Friday night) but placing a pick up order was only about 25 minutes. The pizza is great, and the restaurant looked clean and nice. I would give 5 stars, but the pizzas are a bit small and expensive. If the price came down a little, definitely 5 stars.
