Nicer associates then La Verne’s big lots! I tried to return two items and they told me I couldn’t and to go back to uplands to do it! Which is 20mins away but I’m in La Verne now!

Good prices overall and the merchandise was neater than I remember… BUT…On several occasions in the past, one of the assistant managers here seemed to lack the full concept of customer service. She did not seem to understand that she as a manager should interact with customers in such a way that customers will want to return to the store in the future(i.e., be helpful, courteous, don’t treat customers suspiciously). In all fairness, however, I did not interact with this manager during my last visit. Therefore, I don’t know if her customer service skills have improved.

Unilocal’s 365 Review Challenge 2014 #163 — #365 Back in the day, this store was called Pic n Save and now Big Lots. I think Big Lots sounds much better than the old name. You can find a lot of great stuff at bargain pricing but keep in mind the quality is pretty low. Lots of the food items are mark down, either because they are expired or damaged. There’s a section for furniture indoor /outdoor and some of it is damaged and needs to be repaired. I guess you get what you pay for. Staff here are nice, some can be a bit grouchy.

I have been shopping at this store since it was Pic n Save. The store it is today is one of my favorite stores. The employees are friendly. I love to shop here because there are items here that I can’t find anywhere else, probably because once they reach Big Lots, they are on the final leg of being sold. Ever since this store was remodeled, it is so nice to shop here.

Great place to find good deals, Just upset the cat litter is always low or out of stock. A lot of the merchandise is in the wrong place I got stuff I thought was 1.80 for $ 2.80 same name make sure you double check. A lot of items are not priced also and I don’t want to waste time asking so I just leave it. The place is not full, so very very convinient to shop when in a rush(like for a gallon of milk). The prices are awesome compared to target or other places. The cashier looked tired out. The place is a huge mess, very disorganized at times, But it doesn’t matter as long as I dig around for cheap stuff. Good finds!

I love this particular Big Lots. It is big, it has a great selection of stuff & most importantly in my book it is clean. I live down the street so I am here at least once a week, finding ways to spend my money. Aha, the staff is also very friendly.

If you want the BEST service, BEST attitudes, BEST surprise of your shopping experience life… get into this Upland Big Lots location! Daaaaang was I impressed. I bought a couple of futon beds and needed to get them home… Joey was amazing he helped me check out the futons, recommended other decorating items to go with my sports themed room… then did the unbelievable… He loaded the items in his own personal truck and brought them to my home and unloaded them for my husband and me… Wow! Who does this!!! His thought was because I only lived a couple miles up the street… why call the delivery service. have me get charged $ 50 for the delivery — when he had a truck and could just do it. Again, who does this!!! I remembered checking out(paying for my items at the store) and mentioning to the checker that«Joey» was the nicest guy ever… and she said, «Yes, isn’t he! We all just love working with him» This was my very first experience with a Big Lots and I will definitely be back… and tell everyone I know about this store and Joey! People don’t quit stores they quit the people who work in them!!!

crazy amounts of everything make this store really difficult to find anything. If you are looking for stuff that is cheap and are willing to search thru many rows of clutter than this is your place. Hard to go in and go for something specific if you don’t already know if they have it… Big Lots is the kinda store where you can walk thru every aisle and buy things you really don’t need but want. sort of like a fancy dollar tree

Yes, Big Lots is a messy store, disorganized at times, and whatnot, BUT sometimes you find AMAZING brands for pretty good prices… I usually get my hair stuff there because they have brands(such as Dove and Pentene) that are trustworthy and cheaper than at most stores. Same goes for food; if you get lucky, you find pretty good stuff for pretty good prices but BEWARE of the expiration date… sometimes they aren’t checked and you go home with something that literally expired 6 months ago… BUT I’m willing to ignore it for the good deals :)

It is always disorganized and there is chaos when I come here. I have found some things here at great prices.

Big Lots is just all around awesome, and this store for some reason is über-awesome. I’ve been able to find random things I needed(or at elast I convinced myself I needed) every time I come here. — Random things — check — Low prices — check — Brand names — check As an example, I needed a 3ft coax cable. Target(as much as I love Target) sold it for almost $ 8. Big Lots had it for $ 1.59. Booyah. FYI — They close at 9pm, and they don’t take Amex.

I come here a lot because they have the most random stuff you could ever need at low prices, like frames, cheap desk furniture, and random cleaning supplies. But the best part is that every time I step inside, I text my friend Ahu S with the literal translation«Les Grands Lots» and we both get an unusually-thrilling laugh out of it every time.

Yay Big Lots! I remember when this specific location was the local Pic-N-Save. Who else remembers that? Does anyone actually want to remember? Ok, ‘nough said. This is a nicer Big Lots location on Foothill in Upland, in the same parking lot as a Stater Bros. and some other smaller businesses. Personally, this is a store I like more than some of the other locations because it’s bigger and better lit(the whole front of the store is glass, so a lot of natural light pours in all day). In other respects, it’s your typical Big Lots, so don’t expect too much. However, they have a good food section offering if you’re looking for some oddities from Companies we don’t usually see out here in the West. I generally go to get a few things I need(like laundry detergent, baggies, saran wrap, etc.) and then to do my impulse browsing.
