Papa John’s Pizza

Horrible On-​line experience. I don’t care how good the pizza and hot wings are when they actually get here I will NEVER order from this website again. Order was so ambiguous and so confusing… I had no idea what location was delivering, what I would be getting and how long it would take to receive my order. YUCK on the on-​line experience!

Very late, pizza is already cold. The pizza cut was not the one i wanted! They should fix this…

The lady that answered the phone didn’t know their specials. She didn’t even know the different sauces they use. The pizza was bad too. I like papa johns pizza, but this location is bad.

Best pizza in upland with friendly service. Little bit pricey but worth it. I ordered on line and got a great deal works pizza, cheese sticks and chocolate chip brownie

Just walked in and was received with a welcoming smile and great customer service. Always been a fan of Papa Johns and their food. This location was very clean and friendly.

I like to thank them for their GREAT customer service… I ordered a pizza online on delivery I had realized that only on a large your pizza does the thin crust comes offered. Unable to notice the difference when ordering online I called the store and they greatly sent me my thin crust pizza at no extra charge. I will definitely be ordering and keeping my business with this great establishment. Bravo thanks for the help

Horrible! They won’t deliver to us because they say were not in Upland which we are in Upland! This happens every time when we order so my boyfriend had to go drive down there and show them mail that has our address on it which says Upland so they can deliver to us. They claim they’re always busy when I call and that’s another one of their excuses why they can’t believe which is bull. If they’re always busy why don’t they have more workers? They claim were 30 mins away were 10 minutes away its just bull I love their pizza but their service and people are horrible!

Ordered online this past rainy Sunday afternoon. Pizza was still in the oven but the garlic knots and wings were ready, even though we were earlier than what I had originally said I wanted my pick up time to be. Staff here are all youngsters. They were both friendly and efficient. Killed time by watching the soccer game while waiting.
Garlic knots were decent sized, but needed a tad bit more flavor. They had some kind of butter at the bottom of the box that did them no justice. It wasn’t until I dipped them in the special garlic sauce that they were taken to another level. The wings were wings. Not bad, but not stand out. Same with the pizza. We opted for thin crust pizza. At first glance, it reminded me of the frozen ones you get at the drive in. It didn’t taste like one though. It was decent enough, but I wish the bottom/​crust would have had a little bit more burn/​char.

Called to order pizza tonight. We’ve eaten here numerous times and had pretty good service. When my husband asked what the specials were and paused to ask the family if that sounded good he apparently took too long to answer because the guy taking the order said «oh my god!» When confronted he said oh I didn’t say that to you sir. My husband said you know what, I’ll call you back. Before my husband could even remove the phone from his ear I heard the phone slam down on the receiver from papa johns side and I was sitting across the room. Won’t be eating here again. Looks like it’s Pizza Hut from now on.

Thought this was a good move to get pizza and might I say the worst pizza experience me and my husband have ever had. We had gone there last night and ordered a meat pizza and not only was the pizza cold but we both were very sick from the pizza and that being the only thing we had eaten that day it couldn’t have been anything else. I will most defiantly not be going back but I will be notifying the manager about this

Disappointment is the one word id use to describe my Christmas evening right now. I had a craving for pizza and ordered 3 medium 3 topping pizzas. Upon getting home I noticed that 2 of pizzas had red sauce instead of white (which I said 3 times on the phone to confirm) also the taste was just bland overall. I’m sitting here with 2.5 boxes of pizza I don’t want to finish and a desire for something more.

Christmas night and craving pizza, garlic sauce and beer! A total disappointment! Couldn’t understand the nice lady taking the order. Even though she read the order back correctly 3x… still NOT what we had ordered! Ingredients anything but fresh, crust like white bread and red sauce instead of white… ugh! Next time… will not call The Papa!

I never eat papa johns I’m more of a dominos person but I had a couple coupons I wanted to use so me and my husband decided to try. I ordered over the phone and chose to pick up. When I went in they had my pizza wrong (no big deal) I waited for them to make a new one, I headed home and we ate. Shortly after my husband developed food poisoning (I was fine) I’m thinking they were so much in a rush to remake my pizza it probably wasn’t cooked properly. I was so disappointed because for one I never eat there and we wanted to give them a try! But never again will we be eating there !

So my husband ordered a pizza from this location and let me tell you we will never be ordering from this place again!!!
He ordered a thin crust pepperoni mushroom, but when delivered it looked as if it were a saltine cracker with some sauce on it. It seemed someone literally had picked off the toppings right before hand. Honestly, the worse looking pizza and the worse tasting pizza we had ever encountered.
And forget about contacting headquarters (speaking with the workers at the exact location could have cared less about their product) since we still have yet to receive a response from the disappoint of their motto «better ingredients, better pizza, Papa Johns». All in all call domino’s if you’re looking for a decent tasting pizza that’s quick and efficient!

Took me a while to write this review, but we bought pizza and bread sticks from here about 1 month ago, and the bread sticks were as dry as my tree outside. It’s unfair to have people spend their hard earned money on tree! Please watch your employees closely.

The customer service is so… so. They don’t say thank you or come again! something that I think customer service should be all about.

the girl over the phone who took my order was VERY nice, professional and when I went in to pick up my order they all were very polite! My pizza was still hot when I got it home too! This pizza place is my new favorite since moving to Upland and they will continue to get my business!

Papa Johns is not a 5 star joint. Pizza is better than some other chains, not as greasy, etc. What made this a five star tonight? I believe his name was Ricky; an Indian guy who took my order after hours, without whining, and made me a great pizza when a few friends popped by. He was polite, the food was hot– when you get treated so well for a $ 15 pizza, that’s worth more than a 3 star pizza

Pretty solid franchise. Taste is on par with other Papa John’s locations. Manager is nice and professional.
Pizza is no health food, but the nearby Pizza Hut/​Dominos locations across the street have double the sodium and are filled with trans fat. I’m pretty sure almost all Papa John’s carry 0g trans fat.
You could do much worse than Papa John’s,

and they do put lot of ingredients
