Bomb pizza!!! The best Pizza place in upland hands down! The sauce is great they put the perfect amount of cheese(the cheese covers the whole pizza instead of just half of it like other places is town) Mario insists on every guest being fully satisfied with his food.

This place is definitely word of mouth just like how the Chef mentioned. We are out of state(from Texas) and found this gem and we can’t say enough about the hospitality of the ste staff and the quality of the pizza. OMG! We ordered the small(4 or 6 slices) depending on the heaviness of the toppings and we were full to the core.

We love this place. The chubbies are so good. The pizza is so good. The calzones are so good. Everything is super yummy. Mario the owner is very friendly and makes you feel like family. The best pizza in the inland empire.

Rizza is amazing! Awesome wings and very generous portions. Veggies are always fresh, and the chubbies are to die for!

After seeing so many great reviews I decided to try this place and I’m happy I did. The pizza was great not too greasy they are generous with the cheese the sauce was tasty! I tried the chubby and that was really good with pepperoni and cheese baked on a French roll it was served with a side of marinara that was so good? I will definitely buy from here again. For the party pizza with 1 topping and 1 chubby was 29.50 not bad. My card was charged 3x with their new machine my edited review is based on the stress I had to call my bank and dispute charges ugh! So frustrating when I called the owner kept talking over me and even said it didn’t happen but I had my bank account proving 3 charges

5 stars for chubbies alone, kept me coming back for years — a childhood birthright. I remember when the chubbies were 10 for $ 10. those were the days. I think they charge $ 3 per chubby now.

The chubby sticks are the best original idea I have eaten, it’s really delicious great flavor and the smells that come from the box is amazing. It’s uplands best mom and pop pizza joint, when your in the mood for a home made pizza try them out.

I read the reviews and thought I would try this place. My pizza was slightly over cooked and was quite bland. Not a bad pizza, but not necessarily good either. Just bland. I probably won’t be back

If you are a true pizza aficionado you will defiantly want to check this place out. You pay a damn good price for some excellent pizza. Crush is light and crispy at the edge and plenty of cheese without being charged extra. Enjoy!

So I wanted a slice of pizza driving through Upland. When I got to the counter they said they didn’t have pizza by the slice but rather Chubby Sticks. I said why not. I’m really glad I did. Rizzas take on cheese-sticks are the best I’ve ever had that were cooked perfectly. The pizza sauce for dipping was very flavorful as well. Can’t wait to try the pizza and the owner Mario really cares about making quality food and is a great guy. I only give this place 4 stars because they need to put time in fixing up the dining area.

We came across Rizza Pizza on a bike ride through the area and with the menu and prices looking reasonable, we decided to try it. We get very tired of the chain pizza parlors and are always looking for a little mom and pop type of neighborhood pizza place. Tucked back in the corner of a mostly empty strip mall, you really have to know that this place is there or you would never see it. The prices are very reasonable and you tend to get a lot for the money. We have been there twice and have really enjoyed the pizza both times. First time we tried the Rizza with Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Sausage, Mushrooms, Onions, Green Peppers & Tomatoes. A very good pizza for the price. The second time we tried the Meat Lovers Pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage, Ground Beef, Ham & Bacon. Another really good pizza for the carry out price. Rizza has some very good potential of becoming a popular local pizzeria but are just situated in a very bad location where no one is going to see them. Give them a try if you are local.

The best pizza in Upland. Can’t even deny that or make up a false statement. I ordered A simple pepperoni with thick crust a few nights ago and was blown away at how great it was. I’ve had pizza all over the city of Upland and thought I had the best, but was dead wrong until I came here. I cannot wait to order again from here and get those Chubby Sticks because they look mad good!

I happened to be in this area and my kids and we were ready for lunch! I did a quick Unilocal search on the place, I admit, I was a bit intrigued with something on the menu called«chubbies» after I read several people raving about them! I began to order and was offered a special of a medium pizza with some chubbies(jackpot)!! The pizza was hot and fresh out of the oven. The crust was flavorful and crispy. The chubbies, my goodness were they delicious! Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area. Also the owner,(I assume he was the owner) had told me he hadn’t put together their high-chairs as of yet… within 10 minutes he came out with a newly-put-together high chair! That, to me, was very sweet and expressed a great deal of customer appreciation! Much appreciated!

The staff I spoke with on the phone was very nice. My pizza got delivered within the time they said it would be. I gave it only four stars because the pizza was super greasy, if they could make it less greasy it would be awesome pizza, and when it was delivered it was nice and hot. Overall if they eased up on the grease. I would order from them again. If not, then I mostly likely won’t order from here again because, unfortunately, now I have heartburn from the grease, lol. It was delicious though.

Unilocal’s 365 Review Challenge 2014 #227 — #365 My old coworkers and customers would always talk about this pizza joint in Upland and never even bothered to try until curiosity got the best of me. I was craving for pizza was aiming to order some Pizza Hut or the $ 5 Made to Order Little Caesar’s Pizza. Then I just remembered hearing about Rizza Pizza and I just had to give it a try and see if it was worth the hype. The shopping center looks old and is located in a bad area of Upland and right across from Starbucks and Juice it Up. Like they say, «First Impression Counts» and the place look like a vacant early 80’s shopping center. Towards the corner of the strip mall is Rizza Pizza, the outside appearance may look run down, the food is what gives this place 5 stars. The place was empty and they had an outdoor patio with plastic tables and chair. The bathroom was disgusting and reminded me of a restroom located off the 15 freeway in the middle of the Mojave desert on the way to Vegas. Service here could use some improvement(heavy training)! I ordered a medium Rizza Pizza and 2 Chubby Sticks and it had taken about 20 minutes to make and bake. My friend who use to work for Rizza Pizza years ago said the owner Mario uses fresh ingredients on all the food. So there’s no premade crap and it all comes of fresh. My pizza was ready and the server who was a total«ASS» just came over and said«HERE» and left my pizza on the table. Poor customer service and No people skills! He was also completely rude to his coworker working behind the counter. Total ASS! The food alone is 5 stars but had to take off a star for the RUDE server. Plus the restaurant needs to be renovated especially the restrooms and patio area. The only saving grace was the gourmet pizza and chubby sticks.
