Best rental car place ever. I go here regularly because I don’t have a car and I use the weekend special to run errands. The people know me and are always awesome to work with. They have a lot going on but they still manage to provide great customer service.

This enterprise was great. I had a problem renting at the Ontario Airport location. I called Upland they pulled up my reservation and was able to rent me the car I wanted in a matter of 20 mins. It was great. The service was nice. The people were friendly. The car was clean and I didn’t feel pressured to get added services or there insurance. He asked I declined because I had insurance and that was it. My only complaint, which is why I only gave 4 stars was the wait. They seemed understaffed for a Saturday and waiting to get the car took longer than it should have. They did keep me informed and apologized over and over again for the wait. It wasn’t bad. Just an inconvenience. I would recommend and rent from this place again and again. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

(This is my husbands account I’m writing this review with.) Terrible first experience. The first day was great, setting it up, the man who picked me up was friendly. I have a rental with Enterprise covered by my warranty for the car. I called my warranty place yesterday to verify 4 more days of rental and they said no problem, just contact Enterprise. So I called Enterprise right after and spoke at 1:18 in the Upland office to someone I wish I had gotten the name,. He said that it was not showing up but that HE would CALL my warranty people to verify. HE told me that if there were PROBLEMS he would CALL ME back. I never received a call so I assumed everything was fine.
However, having the anxiety I do and needing to make sure everything is in right order I called this morning to ask about it and they said no, we have to bring it back tonight or incur more charges. But I explained to the supposed manager of the Upland store what his employee told me. The «manager» (I’m hoping he’s not, he was completely rude) kept talking over me and repeating the same thing back instead of taking the time to understand what I was saying. I was too worked up and crying by the time I had to hand the phone to my husband to deal with it because this «manager» kept talking over me and being completely rude and telling me how it was my fault and not his employees. I’ve dealt with having my car in the shop for almost 3 weeks now, I was not looking forward to more stress from Enterprise who has supposed great customer service.
He treated my husband the same way, but my husband (who handles clients on a day to day basis and actually has TERRIFIC customer service skills) brought him back down and told him to not interrupt him and actually take the time to listen to him. That where he works if an employee made a mistake that’s on the employee and not the customer. WE should have received a phone call so I could contact my warranty place THAT NIGHT because they are closed over the weekend.
I doubt I will have any problems with it getting covered, but this was a horrendous experience and, given my own money, I will NEVER deal with Enterprise again unless this mistake is corrected somehow. And the mistake was a communication problem that could greatly impact my already worn down wallet from having to pay the deductible for my car repair (and around my sons birthday and Christmas too).

People were friendly and efficient. The location is convenient.
A bit too pushy about wanting to sell their own insurance, asking me about how much my deductible was, having to talk to the manager to see if Priceline insurance would be OK, and giving me a compact car when I reserved and paid for an intermediate car without any explanation. The convenience is great, but I find the insurance pushiness problematic.
Left the place feeling like I had been in an unnecessary argument and with a feeling like they would find some scratch or bump when I returned the car (which they did not).

Great service in upland. For claremont this location is just as convenient of foothill, not as crowded and awesome staff. Pick up was quick.

Hats of to this location I was in an accident on 9 – 15 and my insurance had set up a reservation for me. I called and spoke with Ryan and had arranged to have me picked as my car was being towed. The staff that was there was great. Ryan knew that my day was bad already and catered to my needs was doing what he could to find me a car asap. He had Natalie I believe was her name take me to a different location for a car… was in and out in 5 minutes. I appreciate it you were all professional and courteous and got it handled. Thank you and will return as a customer

About three weeks ago I had a terrible experience with the Enterprise store in Rancho Cucamonga. Long story short, corporate called me and offered me a rental free of charge. I agreed and did business with the Upland location. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Natalee Pulver. Natalee was very friendly and professional. She represents the company’s interests in a positive manner. Natalee is a great sales person. She got me an upgrade from an economy car to a Lincoln MKX free of charge! That was one nice car. I will be doing business with Enterprise again. The Upland location treated me like the valuable customer I am. Thank you Enterprise and most of all, thank you Natalee.

I have been a regular renter here for about a year now. They always provide excellent, friendly, professional service, even when they are «in the weeds.» Highly recommended.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had with renting a car. The rental was actually for my mother who was stuck at work so I agreed to rent the car for her. Natalee picked me up from my house right before they closed at 6 and took me to the upland branch and was extremely nice and professional. She was also funny! We ended up having to wait for my mom to come up there and she offered me water while I waited. (It was scorching hot!) I can’t say enough about Natalee and her excellent customer service. I will definitely rent from them in the future.

If it were possible to give these people zero stars, I would. They have the possible the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They told us incorrect dates for the return of the car which resulted in the insurance only paying for a portion of the retail fees. This leaves the rest of the cost to come out of our pocket. The people in the office were not helpful at all and they refused to acknowledge that they were at fault. Also, earlier they had said that their managers name was Ryan. Then when we asked to speak to the manager we were speaking to a man named Jonathan. Now unless they changed managers in a matter of a week, I’m pretty sure that they did not transfer our call to the manager. Overall very dissatisfied with this service and their overall lack of professionalism and cooperation.

My experience here at Enterprise was great. Everyone was always so happy to help and they have great customer service. Watch out for the new girl Natalie… SHE’S SO SWEET. Really easy to talk to, extremely helpful, kind with her customers and eager to uphold the company name to the best of standards. Overall 5 stars! Thanks Enterprise!

I had a rental car through enterprise from having my wife’s car totalled. My insurance company sent me to them. The car they covered wasn’t very good but very nice had lots of great extras. The employees that signed me up were great to works with and they even offered their insurance rate if I kept the car for longer. I was very happy with everything except one thing. I am a married 31 year old with 4 children. I am general manager for my company and also am apart of other businesses. When I came in to return the vehicle the man standing behind the counter was a little shorter than me (I’m 6’4″) and dress for business. This man looked younger than me and wasn’t wearing a wedding ring. His first comment to me was «how can I help you son?» I am very careful with my wording to anyone especially clients. I was a bit offended by being called «son». He is not my father and probably younger than me. This gentlemen looked about 22 years old with many freckles. If I were him I would rethink my approach to any clients, potential, clients, or past clients. ALWAYS, ALWAYS SHOW RESPECT. I have been manager for many companies and would never tolerate an employee using those kinds of wording to a customer. Other than that. They did a great job.

I rent cars several times a year for long trips. I have used other agencies and decided to try this location with Enterprise. Reserved everything online and although you can not request specific cars I contacted Matthew and requested a particular model days in advance.
The night before pickup I contacted Mattew and checked with him as he was the one I contacted several times before. At closing time he advised me that the vehicle I wanted was in and I could pick it up in the morning.
Upon arrival at opening I saw that he got in early to have the car washed and cleaned for me. It was immaculate and I could not have been happier. Spent just a few minutes with the paperwork and off I went without incident.
Upon returning the vehicle, I was there for less than 5 minutes checking out and off I went with a ride home. I would definitely return to this location and deal with Matthew again for my rentals. Thank You gentleman.

I had a great experience at this location. The customer service was superb and it was quick. Both of the managers were so nice and they took care of me quickly. I would definitely recommend renting here!

I just left enterprise upland and had a great experience. Matt, Pam and the whole staff are very helpful and friendly. They are always quick to help you or answer any questions. I bought a brand new car this year and its been in and out of the shop for months. Its been stressful but I really appreciate everyone at enterprise upland for the quick and helpful service.

If I could leave no star I would!!! I rented a car the day after Thanksgiving a little after 12PM and the pick up was 1PM everything went good as far as the reservation and that was it (online BTW)! I drove 30 minutes to get there but it was the cheapest available so I took it (big mistake). I got there 15 minutes early I figured it would take 15 minutes for the paperwork and I would be driving out a little after one with a vehicle. At my arrival I am welcomed with nothing but serious faces which I thought was odd but didn’t think anything of it. I approached the a lady and the first words out of her mouth we have NOTHING!!! How do you take reservations if you have nothing???
She was giving me a sad story about how the holidays are bad and no one had returned cars!!! I failed to see how that was any of my problem, but I listened to her solution. She offered me a truck at a «GREAT PRICE» but the truck was going to cost me more money (2 times the quoted amount) for half the time!!! I said ok lets do it! Then she tells me you have to bring the truck tomorrow before 12 because we close??? How the hell am I supposed to cut my obligations short to be in the same mess the next day!!! So then she proceeded to tell me there would be a car there in a little bit and since she overheard we needed to eat she welcomed the idea of getting food and coming back and the car would be there. She told us be back in 1 hr (we needed to be in Santa Monica by 3 PM for a meeting and I still had to check in).
We left got food and I figured I am going to give them a little more time so we went to the get some stuff done my wife wanted to do. I gave them a hour and a half and called back and she told me nothing yet! At this point now I am mad and kind of losing my patience. She advised me there is a car available in Ontario (30 minutes away round trip) and a employee was on her way to pick it up and it would get there in 1 hour!!! How the heck do you turn a 30 minute drive to a 1 hr drive??? At this point I offered to get it at Ontario cause that is too long of a wait and she said no we couldn’t! I am trying to help them and I still get a no??? So I waited till about 3PM and called back and to my surprise… NOTHING!!! The funniest part is she was still insisting on me waiting longer!!! So of course I was late to my meeting and we have your wonderful establishment to thank for that, and my plans got completely messed up!!! All of this could have been resolved 2 ways: 1. CALL THE CUSTOMER FOR THE LACK OF VEHICLES!!! This would have taken all of maybe 5 minutes? and they can’t say they didn’t have time, my reservation was a little after 12PM and I got there at about 12:45PM. Moreover, they can’t tell me they didn’t think that would happen because they said they were short ALL MORNING!!! 2. Rent the truck out and accommodate my drop off time and my price! It was not my fault you guys didn’t have the car so why should I inconvenience myself and my plans for your inability to have vehicles handy?
PS I contacted the Area Manager and left a lengthy complaint (Mark is his name I believe) and to my surprise NO CALL BACK!!!

A few bad experiences observed at this place, such as the manager yelling at customers in front of other customers. Then it was my turn to get yelled because when I was asked about how the service was. I said it was OK. Apparently honest feedback is not appreciated so I was confronted.

I honestly don’t know why this place has such a low rating. The people are friendly and seem to be in a pretty good mood, despite the fact that rental customers can be some of the nastiest people out there. I spoke with Nikita, Brian, Greg, and Desiree. No problems with any of them. I even left an item in the vehicle after returning it, and they didn’t hesitate to help me retrieve it the following morning.
The vehicle (a Hyundai Elantra) was in good (not stellar) condition. There were some coffee stains on the seats and some dings on the exterior. But it’s a rental car. Get over yourselves, people. It did not exceed my expectations, but I was far from disappointed.
I usually don’t write reviews, but this place deserves more than ONE star. I wonder if we are even talking about the same place?

9/​30/​2013terrible customer service. Just rented a car and felt like I was talking to the enemy. I asked about insurance for which they offered no assistance other than if I damage the car I will have to pay for it. short, rude, walked in the office before I did, etc. unfortunately, it’s very apparent this representative of enterprise does not like her job and she’s very unhappy in bitter. Also indicative of poor management. Overall would never recommend this to anyone else
