Do not go here. They have the same prices as Sears and they claim to price match, but they don’t. John told me well you should just go to Sears. He didn’t even try to get my business. Rude employees and it’s a fake discount store.

So far so good! I purchased a washer/​dryer set on Thursday. DeAnne the sales lady was very knowledgeable with the products they sell. The price was lower at a competitor but no problem, they price matched and will continue for 60 days if the price drops again. I requested for delivery for Saturday. She explained that I would get a call Friday night with a time frame for delivery. Automated call came Friday stating delivery would be between 10−1pm. Today is saturday, the delivery guys showed up at 9am, which made me even more happy! Delivery guys were very nice. Hooked up my washer/​dryer quickly and everything worked great! I am loving my new set set far. And the entire purchase and delivery was flawless! I am excitedly doing laundry as I type!

I bought the wrong size refrigerator. It was about 3 weeks later that I found out because it was a gift. I took it back to the salesman Bobby who was extremely helpful. Anna was the one who inspected the product when I brought it back. She was very helpful and gave me the credit back to my credit card. No hassles. I will return.

We purchased $ 6500.00 worth of kitchen appliances from Howard’s in Upland in September of 2013. Our new microwave quit working on Monday, June 15, 2015. Called Howard’s Service Center Tuesday morning to schedule a service call. Technician was scheduled to be here on Wednesday afternoon. Told the technician what had happened to the microwave, it just stopped working, and he said there was nothing he could do that day because he needed to order parts. They would send a two man crew out when the parts came in because the unit needed to come off the wall to be repaired. It was going to take two weeks to get the parts. Parts came in on June 30^th and a new service appointment was scheduled for July 2^nd. Two technicians showed up, removed the microwave and started the repair. They replaced a circuit board and a couple of thermo fuses. They plugged the microwave in and, nothing works. Took everything apart again and discovered that the first technician didn’t order the correct circuit board. Sucks to be me, I guess. We decided, between the three of us, that it might be best for them to take the microwave to the shop so that they could make sure it worked after installing the correct circuit board. I called the service department twice during the week of July 6, trying to get updates. All they could tell me was that they were still waiting for the part but that would call me, for sure, on Friday, July 10. No phone call. I called the service center on Monday, July 13 for an update, still waiting for the part. On Tuesday, I decided to go to Howard’s and talk to someone with some authority because I was now ready for them to just replace the microwave. I talked to Manny. Seems like a nice enough fellow. He said that he would talk to his Vice President when he got out of a meeting at 1:30 PM and then call me back. Didn’t call. I called again on Wednesday morning but he didn’t have an answer for me yet. He said he would call for sure by 10:30 AM on Thursday morning. I gave him until 11:30 and then I called him again. He told me the part was due in on Monday, the 20^th. I told him that I was having a problem accepting this and what happened to the decision to just replace the unit. He told me he would call me back in less than an hour. It took more like two hours. He told me the part was now going to be in on Friday, the 17^th and then they would bring my unit out next week. I then had a minor meltdown telling him that Howard’s has been our go to appliance store for, at least, twenty five years and we have never needed to have anything repaired before. We always enjoy working with the sales people because they seem to have some knowledge of what they’re selling. It’s not as if they just had to run over from the plumbing department to sell an appliance. When I finished my little rant, Manny said he would call his General Manager and tell him I wasn’t a happy customer. Manny also said that he would call me that afternoon. No phone call. Waited all day today, No phone call. So, Howard’s, after 25 years and I don’t even know how many thousands of dollars spent in your Upland store, we are done. I am hoping that my microwave gets repaired or replaced and is back on my kitchen wall next week. Howard’s isn’t the only store to give next day delivery and free haul away so we will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

I recently purchased very nice Samsung built in dishwasher from the Upland store, from Johnathon who by the way was very knowledgeable about the products that were offered. The prices were fair and they had a lot to choose from. The purchase and delivery process was flawless. Just as they said I would, recieved the dishwasher in perfect condition. I chose to install the unit myself… not my first rodeo. I wired and connected everything just as directions indicated. The unit turned on, went into a normal wash cycle but 20 minutes or so the unit shut off and would not turn back on. After trouble shooting everything I started reading reviews about the model that was purchased. Several other consumers had the same issue. Long story short, I called back and explained the situation, no questions asked, they sent a new unit out, I installed it and BOOM! Back in business! Thanks!

I give manager Manny B. five stars! No problem with purchases and excellent customer service. Bought four major kitchen pieces for well over 5 grand. Good prices compared to Lowe’s and Home Depot who offer little or no assistance or motivation in selling their wares. Here’s the problem I had with HOWARD’S. I am an idiot, so I can’t install these toys by myself. I paid for installs, using their contracted people. Big mistake. Watch out here! HOWARD’S’ gave me the approximate cost of installation. When contracted people showed up, I felt scammed for the first time in my life. Price of install went up 3X original estimate. Called Manny B. for help. He did! All things resolved. But be prepared for possible issues if you use their people for installation of goodies. Thanks, Manny B.

Jessica badeau was my salesperson today. After visiting several stores, she was the most informed and generous help that I could have asked for. She was beyond patient and i would consider myself a difficult customer. I appreciate her kindness and help and I would recommend her anytime.

Went in to take a look at options and prices on a washer and dryer. The salesperson wasn’t pushy, very friendly and helpful. Again, still looking, but first impressions go a long way.

We got a 2^nd refrigerator which was supposedly new however a discontinued model of Frigedaire Gallery, which we also had a problem with the ice maker. The original refrigerator we purchased was the Frigedaire Professional however your company refuses to give us the updated model of the Frigidare Professional because it’s more money. However what your company doesn’t understand is that we brought a used refrigerator into our home. Who knows whose home it was in prior. So now with this supposedly new refrigerator that’s not working, it is going to be the third time that I need to be home, move furniture around and empty the fridge again in order to receive another fridge. This has been the worst experience ever and all your company can worry about is the loss of the money it would cost your company to replace the fridge with the correct model that we had originally purchased. We have spoken to your main office and the district manager but this is still the best your company can do. I’m very disappointed.

After years of buying appliances I am seriously disappointed in my last interaction. If your going to tell me a manager is going to call me regarding an issue with my latest purchase I expect a call. Now two weeks later I’m sitting at the store once again trying to take care of the issue. Customer service is not what it used to be here. So sad!

I purchased a washer, dryer, and dishwasher from these guys. I paid cash upfront, as I always do. The price we negotiated was fair and I have no complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful.
When they did the delivery they took our brand new hoses to hook up the appliances. While this was frustrating, my wife went in and they replaced the lost items at no cost. It says a lot about a company when «nobody is at fault» and just an accident happens, and they cover it. I can appreciate the way they handled the situation since they really had no way to know the delivery people took our hoses.
They trusted us, made it right, and I’ll be back to give them a chance at my business for a nice TV and a kitchen remodel. Sometimes a few bucks goes a long way in the end!

We shopped all over for new appliances, including checking online prices. Howard’s was able to beat everyone except in one case where they lowered the price to match the price I found. Their sales people are very helpful and they have a lot to choose from. The delivery and install people were great. When we had an issue with the fridge, they sent someone out (we purchased the extended service plan) from Howard’s who was great to work with. It turned out to be a minor fix. Overall, it was a great experience. They don’t use hard sell tactics either. We would definitely go back there.

Awesome service. Awesome products. Next day delivery if you purchase by 5. Tim helped us with our purchase and he was very knowledgable about all of the products. Prices are really good especially on sale and floor models. Better than Sears outlet.

First time at howards and my wife and i just purchased a new LG washer and dryer from the store manager Manny, he was very patient. He explained all the benifits of the washer and dryer. He made my wife and I feel comfortable. Howards offers Great prices, but most important of all manny had GREAT customer service skills. Life long howards customers! Bought new washer and dryer from Howards. Sales person was very nice and helpful. And thats where the good experience ends.
Delivery experience was not that great!!! They called and said delivery would be between 2 and 5 pm. So I made plans at work to leave prior to 2. I get a call at 10. telling me they are ahead of schedule. I told them I couldnt make it earlier. At 2, they arrived… installer had problems with turning off my water, immediately told me he couldnt install, and then looked at my gas hookup. and told me he didnt want to mess with my «outdated» hookup. I got alittle irritated. and told him I would turn off the water to the house so he could at least hook up my washer. He hooked it up… turned it on to test… and readied himself to leave. He was sloppy and had zero customer service. No wonder they were ahead of schedule… they rushed throught their jobs!!!
This experience would make me think twice about buying from Howards again!!! Prices are okay at Howards… but beware the delivery and install experience.

Soooooo rude. The lady looked at us like we were idiots for not something about our oven. She didn’t even seem interested in helping us. Ended up going to Pacific Sales in Ontario. So much nicer and better prices.

Howard’s SAVES THE DAY! we recently purchased a high end dishwasher from a well known appliance store… we purchased by phone but they didn’t advise us it would be TWO WEEKS before delivery and installation. I called Howard’s, purchased by phone and the installer was at my front door the next day! The installer was professional, and took care of an unrelated leak (that we weren’t aware of). Howard’s price was cheaper by $ 85.00, no hassles and they took great care of us. Our next purchase is a range and overhead microwave and we’ll buy it from Howard’s!

Oh my goodness! I am sorry to say the CEO of this company should take a look at the condition of this store. I do not care what kind of bargains they may have, the stores interior and exterior are disgusting! They carpeting is coming up off the bare floors their merchandise isnt kept in very good condition, I also could not believe that their employees are still using computers from the 1980’s. They say they are sponsered by the Los Angeles Angels, WOW! No one i quess decieded to look at this store! Disapointing!

The refrigerator purchase process was very easy. The delivery was a nightmare! They never called me. When I contacted them, they were unwilling to discuss delivery times. Had the displeasure of discussing the situation with Selena from the store location. She was not the least concerned. Rude and abrasive are accurate terms. Contacted «customer service team» and still waitiing to hear anything from them. The saving grace was the store manager. Without him, we would have taken our money and walked.
Bottomline: You will likely save a few bucks but at the first sign of a problem, take your money and walk. It has taken me two days to resolve the delivery issues and it will be two more until it arrives. Until such time, my kids are eating boxed noodles from the pantry.

Wow! does this place have a ton of fridgerators and tvs and everything else it carrys.
Why did it take me so long to step into this place.
The next time i buy a TV i will be coming here to check them out first.
We bought our LG frige here last week and it beat Best Buy and Home Depot by $ 300-​$ 400. The other fridge we where looking at was $ 100 more though
We got it delivered a today and very glad we saw there ad in the newspaper.
