Came in on Friday they said my oil shafts for my dip stick was broken. It had been pulled out… today my gas cap is bad even though it passed yesterday.

Huerta was the best. The story I was told by the new owner is, the State (CA) took away Huerta’s Star rating. So the place is under new ownership. The new guy tried to get me for more money for my ½ ton truck. Then he tested when the truck when it was not ready. It had been worked on and needed driving to reset the system for the check. A week of driving then they checked for codes before the test. This time there was 2 codes, and he would not retest my truck. A local mechanic was there and stated it is ok till Monday. The rules will change and repairs will need to be done after that weekend. Only 1 code allowed now. So I paid the mechanic to test the truck at the same place. Since they could not B.S. them, they passed the truck.

My advice, take this guy’s $ 21.70 coupon to the place at Foothill and Benson. They told me over the phone they would honor this guy’s coupon.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a smog place. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and politely asked to wait for the main guy to come through (sorry dude, I forgot your name!).
The reason I have deemed this a 5 star review is because I was treated like a guest with respect. He started with the small talk, which helps build rapport, and continued to be friendly all the way until the end. I will be going back when my truck needs a new smog check.
Plus, the gentleman who was in front of me didn’t pass the check. It’s noteworthy because he was treated with respect as well, and given all proper details on what was wrong with his vehicle, as well as a proper plan to fix it, and the option to come back within 15 days for a small fee to get re-​checked, and sent on his way.
5 stars for cleanliness, small talk, efficiency (I was only there a short while), professionalism, and the wonderful filtered water.

Be prepared for a bait and switch if you are using a coupon. They will figure how to fail the vehicle, which voids the coupon and then require you to come back for an additional $ 10.

Fast… comfortable. tight parking space but no complaints! Here 15 minutes Even though I wasn’t first! Filtered water available! Repair shop next door. DMV qualified! Good customer service! I was a walk in!
