One of me and my friends’ favorites. Cheap and delicious, with really nice and helpful servers. We always go in groups of 5+ and it’s never been a problem — they’ll even split the check.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Utica so far. Food and service are both excellent!

I’ve had a lot of phở all over the East Coast, and Phở Mekong is right up here with the best of them when it comes to phở. The staff is welcoming and friendly and service is fast. I’ve never been disappointed by any of the phở, vermicelli bowls, or the Vietnamese stew. Seriously the best phở not only in the area but generally as phở goes. I regularly drive over an hour just to go here.

Really nice restaurant! I’m from Connecticut so I’ve never been to a really cheap phở place before. Everything here is really cheap and affordable especially the appetizers. The waitresses here are nice and this place is really convenient since it’s close to my school. I recommend coming here. The food here also taste really good

Drunken noodles is the first item on the menu. I read it, it sounded delicious, so I ordered it with chicken. After finishing the hefty portion, I left with a satisfied grin. I’ve only been in a few times have only ever ordered the same dish. The service has always been good. My only gripe is that one order of the drunken, some of the noodles were a little undercooked. Wasn’t a big deal, just ate around it, there was still plenty of food.

Heard great things about Phở. We tried it tonight for the first time. It was sooooo good. Loved the fresh spring rolls… amazingly fresh with peanut sauce. We both ordered Pad Thai. One chicken, one pork, delish. Enough food for 5 people. Looking forward to the leftovers. Waitress was sweet, friendly and welcoming. This will be our Monday dinner place for sure.

Visiting from out of town and decided to check this place out based on Unilocal reviews. I would give it 6 stars if I could. The food was great and the service even better. I’ll definitely be back on my next Utica trip.

I’ve read other reviews where they mention the building, judge them by their incredible food and wait staff(Jackie) & its an easy 5 stars. So damn good. Drunken Noodles are my jam right now. The thought of them makes me want to dance. Go, check it out.

Drunken Noodles and spring rolls were good. The restaurant could use a remodel, but the food made up for it.

Not the prettiest place, but the food is solid. I’m a big fan of the drunken noodles and the chicken curry. The spring rolls are a great starter too-always fresh with crunchy veggies and a delicious peanut sauce. I could bathe in that peanut sauce… ooohhh… Anyway, the food always comes out piping hot. Even when I get dishes for take-out and travel back to my office with them, I always open the lid to find my meal steaming. Very nice wait staff too!

Surprisingly good Vietnamese food… tucked away in the back streets of Utica. It ain’t much to look at. But all in all its a solid place. The space itself is clean, stark and utilitarian. And the service is friendly and accommodating though my main course came out before I was finished with my appetizer(which is a personal pet peeve of mine… but not unusual in Asian cuisine). The spring rolls, fried tofu and drunken noodles were fresh and delicious. For Utica, this is a gem.

My boyfriend and I have gone here multiple times and each time is great. The wait staff is polite and since we go there so often the waitress we always have jokes with us. I also think she knows our favorite orders by now! It’s a great place to get a quick delicious meal for a good price! I would recommend this place to everyone!

A really awesome place for a good, fresh, and cheap meal. The building is a bit old, drab, and run down. Once you get over that, you’ll find the service kind but perhaps slightly overwhelmed on the Friday night I was there. But the food is good. I had the chicken phở($ 8) and veggie spring rolls($ 3). The phở was pretty good. The noodles were excellent but the broth was a little too salty for my taste especially at the bottom of the bowl. I liked that they had more onions in the soup than I’d normally see and the chicken was pretty lean without too much fat or skin. The veggie spring rolls were very large, uncommonly large. They had just made the peanut sauce so it was really spectacular. They did not charge for the pot of hot tea so my meal was under $ 12. I had a horrible travel plaza McDonald’s lunch the same day at the same price so Phở Mekong really made my day on a cold, long night. I only want to caution others that you may be likely to overeat at this place but never overspend.

The Phở is delicious. I got mango bubble tea, spring rolls, and phở with brisket and round. The beef was extremely tender and flavorful. The regular size Phở is very reasonably priced, and the portion is generous. I was really satisfied with this meal. The broth was savory and well-seasoned without being overwhelming. The noodles were great and soaked up the lovely flavor of the broth. The spring rolls weren’t the frozen, deep-fried variety that you get at most restaurants. They were hand-rolled and served chilled. They were filled with fresh lettuce, shrimp, chicken, and other tasty ingredients. They came with a side of peanut sauce. The spring roll appetizer was more than enough for two people, and it only cost $ 3.00! Everything comes out really fast, so you don’t have to wait. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and polite. The interior of the restaurant was very clean. I understand the exterior might scare people away, but don’t be fooled: It’s clean and comfortable inside the restaurant. The meat is great quality, the food is delectable, and the people are very nice. The only thing I didn’t like was that the boba in my mango bubble tea was a bit hard/chewy. I would have liked it a little softer. The tea itself was tasty. Overall this restaurant was awesome, especially the Phở. My mom got a vegetarian tofu dish. It looked good as well, but in my opinion you should definitely get the soup! I’ll definitely be going back.

These guys have some of the best noodles in town. I always get the Vermicelli with lemongrass and shrimp. I love that they have a variety of bubble teas, and refreshments– try the avocado shake its pretty stellar.

Came here for roommate bonding time and it was a great experience! Pros: –The food came out quickly — within 10 min — efficient! –A very attentive and funny waitress –Fresh Spring Rolls were amazing!!!($ 3!) –Nice Vietnamese background music –Their eggplant dish is amazingly good! — Definitely try it! Cons: –The Phở soup could’ve been warmer($ 7.95 for the large size) –The tea could’ve been warmer as well — we want HOTTEA! — went back another time and the tea was hot :) –The bubble mango slush was too sweet($ 3)
