Yay! I AM a fan. This is one of our go-to spots. Locally owned. Great food. Very friendly & attentive staff. Love the variety. We’ve visited both New Hartford & Utica Raspberries … looking forward to visiting the one in Rome. IF you’re shopping at B & N… be sure to visit this classic locally owned GREAT place for food. Then again… don’t… ’cause we don’t want to start waiting for a seat. :)

Raspberries was wonderful to work with in the planning of a birthday party for a family member. 35 people were invited and we were put in a well decorated, banquet room. The food was fantastic – especially their meatballs! Service was terrific and everything went off without a hitch. They put a screen up for us too – this is where we projected a slide show with music. Everyone commented on how great the party was – good food, great service. Thanks, Raspberries – it meant a lot to us.

I came here for brunch after New Hartford’s graduation. We were in one of the party rooms which was nicely decorated and more secluded from the main restaurant. You can enter the room from the back or from the front of the restaurant. The food we had was delicious. There was bacon, french toast, potatoes, riggies and fruit. The riggies were a little cheesy and could have used more peppers was they were still good. The was ample parking which is also nice. There are a set of bathrooms in the front and the back of the restaurant. They could have been a little bigger. There were pretty clean but paper towels were very jammed up and couldn’t be used. I would be willing to come here again as a regular patron and not as a party so I could get a better feel for the place and see if everything continues to be how I experienced it.

I just experienced the WORST Customer service ever. I will Never ever EVER go here again. I was with a group of four and was told a few minute wait. A group of six then came in after me and they«knew the owner.» I don’t care how well they knew the owner and need to keep up an image you should always seat customers in the order they arrive. The group of six got seated first. And when we acquired why we were told it was because they were a larger table. Whether you are seating one or 20 it’s business and customer service should always come first. I am very disappointed. The saddest part it was the owner who did it and not even the hostess. Lady you need to learn how to run your business!

I’m usually not one to write a review but I’ve been here a couple times and have never been impressed. Yesterday(Mother’s Day), my sister and I made reservations here for our families. Although we were seated relatively swiftly, we sat for 25 minutes with no service and with just a waitress walking by twice telling us that she would be with us soon. I understand it’s busy but when I watched the waitress waiting on a table that came in AFTER us, I started to get irritated. When a waitress did finally come over, only one of us wanted coffee which she poured, I asked for tea and she disappeared even after we stated we were ready to order. After another ten minute wait, my sister and I decided to leave. I will NOT be going back. I waitressed for 10 years, it was a holiday, restaurants should know how much coverage they are going to need…

The food is just ok. The service is bad. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you are into drinking cold, stale coffee and warm Orange juice. I could have saved myself a lot of money and made a better breakfast for myself. Never tried the lunch or dinner, then again if their afternoon/evening staff is anything like their morning staff I’ll save myself the trouble and eat elsewhere.

Unusually good diner. I mean they pay attention to details… even the sausage with the eggs are locally made. Eatng in Utica is a hobby and a sport of many of the citizens(it shows)…but they really do eat well in this city. This is really the diner one should not miss when your at the Munson Proctor Art Institute or just checking out Sin City.

Best breakfast in town! Our family loves the atmosphere, service and the food. The food is always great. We especially enjoy the weekend specials. The Irish Skillet is delicious. Kids love the Yogi. My in-laws come every time they visit from MA. We are loyal to Raspberries! Thank you

Best breakfast you’ll ever have. Served fast — nice menu. Great service — clean — plenty of parking and great atmosphere. Great for dinner and lunch too. Skip the lunch buffet. it’s not that good. stick to the menu and you won’t be disappointed. Only open certain nights for dinner — so check first. Breakfast is awesome. lunch and dinner really food.

I echo some sentiments from the New Yorker; though I am from Western NY, I too felt the décor was somewhat dated. However as far as the food is concerned it’s not amazing, it’s not bad, it’s O.K.

Not a fan at all. Coffee was not drinkable — it was weak and had the strangest after taste. The french toast was overcooked and/or the bread was very stale because I had to borrow husband’s steak knife to cut through the bread. I did not like the sausage at all but I am super picky when it comes to breakfast meat. Grandmother’s toast was burnt and her poached eggs were swimming in water. The only slightly good thing about the meal was the Giambrotte — scarmbled eggs with sausage and peppers and other stuff covered with cheese.
