Nearby the highway. Nearby many fast food places. We stopped here late just to sleep and continue our road trip and it was perfect for that. Worth spending the extra $ 10 over knights inn.

I booked this for my family to stay and I was very happy when I actually visited the place. From the pictures online I wasn’t expecting much but this place was very clean and neat. Pros: — Very reasonable price for a room — Very clean and neat — Dog friendly! They have biscuits for dogs at the front desk, which was very considerate of them. — Location is close to downtown Utica Cons: — You pay for what you get. So there wasn’t a continental breakfast, no coffee machines in the room, etc… There was hot water at the front desk.

We stayed here before entering the adirondacks. it was very nice for the money and convenient location. Very clean, looked newly renovated. Perfect for what we needed. Utica, however is one of the most depressed cities I’ve ever visited. And if you are looking for a scenic drive in the adirondacks, you won’t really find it until you get to Saranac lake. The road up until there is mostly forested with very little view of mountains but a lot of kitchy log cabins that feel like an endless archipelago of summer camps.

Price is right and the rooms are very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again. We used one of those coupon books that you get on the road, and they redeemed it no problem. Plenty of TV stations on the telly :-)

For the price, it’s not bad. Pretty clean room, free wifi and cable… beats motel 6. Good if you’re traveling with a dog, there’s no extra fee.

We stayed here based on the price, and the photos from the website, an were pleasantly surprised! The room was clean, the bed was as comfortable as one would expect, not great but it was fine. The girl working the front desk when we checked in was very friendly, and helped us find a restaurant we were looking for. Lots of parking, and the place is easy to get too from the interstate.

Surprisingly good for the money. Clean, close to the interstate but very quiet in the room. Ours was a «business suite» which included an L shaped work desk where you could set up your computer and still have writing space. Microwave and fridge included with the room and free WIFI(part of the package at that price point). Small-ish room but perfectly adequate. Comfortable King bed and incredibly quiet heat — I get bummed by the combo heat/AC units that so many other chains’ rooms have. They mess up my sleep as they cycle on and off. This room must’ve had radiant electric heat, or fhw in the floor, as there was a seperate thermostat for heat, and the call for heat brought things up to nice-and-toasty with nary a sound. Staff are nice, rooms are pet friendly. Parking is ample. Rooms’ doors are direct access to the outdoors, so loading in and loading out is simple and fast. We’ll be back.

stayed here because everything else was booked in the area. yes you heard me right, all the hotels in Utica NY were booked, it was like a twilight zone episode. anyway it was not horrible. i was expecting it to be really bad, but it was decent. it was clean, bathroom was OK, plenty of parking. it serves the purpose, 85 dollars a night. I would not stay here for a weeks vacation, but to crash for the night it is not bad

This was my first stop on my cross country road trip to California from Maine. It was easy to find off the interstate and it wasn’t too crowded. The room was a nice size, pet friendly(I had 2 cats) and I was able to get 24 hours of internet access for around $ 6.
