This little bar has grown and grown on me. My Friday nights are strictly reserved for cheers now. Always a good amount of people, never any trouble and easy/quick service on drinks.

Wow this place really needs help. At 630pm the bartender was so drunk she almost threw up multiple times. Every few minutes her cheeks would puff up and she would cover her mouth. Not exactly great to see while ordering drinks from her.

This place is always my LAST resort on any given Friday/Saturday. The owner is an absolute crook! DONOT run a tab using your card! Pay attention! Your bill will be padded. Pay for drinks one at a time and keep track. It’s happened to me more than once. I’ve been overcharged at least 3 times that I remember. The drinks are ridiculously overpriced, especially bottled beer… Atmosphere is mediocre at best. It’s was great when it was new…20+ years ago. It needs a makeover . They do get decent music once in a while.

This place is about 1 thing. Making money off of its customers. I know all businesses need to turn a profit but this place is nearly ruthless. I like some of the people but otherwise I go elsewhere. $ 4 for a bottle of coors light? No draft beer. No craft beer. No paper towels. No locking bathroom at least for the guys. Move on to a spot where you can develop relationships and have fun. «Free» Salty pretzels on Saturday night? The goal being patrons drink more, you’re not being kind to me. Stop treating people like they’re dumb.

I love dive bars and have been coming to Cheers ever since moving to the area three years ago! A clean, fun dive bar atmosphere with great bartenders, live music, and a good games of dice. Definitely our go-to bar here in town!

I’m going to comment on one thing: coffee… I was there Sat night 12÷27÷14 listening to my friends band play. I came from Sacramento by myself… I don’t drink, so I ordered coffee $ 2. EACH cup of NestCafe INSTANT coffee, yes, you heard it right, instant coffee! REALLY? Most bars make real coffee and they don’t charge for refills. It’s a curtesy for the customer because they usually are designated drivers for others that are drinking or people sobering up. The owner here is nothing less than CHEAP, I will never return.

Good Drinks, Dive atmosphere, and playing dice for drinks turns most of our nights into legendary nights.

A real pub atmosphere, not really a dive but more of a local, friendly place where everyone fits in nicely! They were watching a zombie show together and a fire dancer started twirling her hoop out front! Cool place for nerds and older people, too! Wish it weren’t so cold inside! Kind of drafty, but the bartender turned the fans off when she saw us shivering.

Interesting little place that I won’t ever go to again, not for minorities as the regulars mock those with different accents and races & it’s tolerated by the bartender because she’s laughing along… I even heard a regular say he wanted to punch a patron, a patron who was Asian and not even in his immediate area, he just wanted to assault him just because. Again the young bartender was so rude about everything just to appease her 3 regular drunks at the bar when little did she know that many of us have friends who frequent this area and are military and I for one have told them to never come to this place. I know the owner would be floored to know how much business was lost in a short time due to the actions of the raggedy bartender and her yuppies.

Bar. In Vacaville. Sometimes I play music here. Wish they had draft beers but they never will! Live music always helps. Keep it up!

One of the few bars in solano that offer live music. Strange brew is a sick band they play there on weekends and give my friends something to dance to

This is easily the worst bar in Vacaville. The bouncer is a complete asshole. I have never been treated shittier. I don’t know where you have to fail at life to become a bouncer at a bar in Vacaville, but this dude needs to stop taking it out on the clientele. Bouncer; I know that you’re frustrated that life didn’t turn out the way you hoped it would and that it must anger you to watch people vastly more successful than you have a good time out, but you can’t just act like a dick to the people that pay your minimum wage paychecks. Take the piercings out of your face, you’re over 40 for fucks sake! If you want to look younger, dye the grey hair, it’s depressing! And try to be nicer to people before you lose more customers.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! I had to meet my brother half way between the Bay Area and Sacramento to entertain a family member visiting from overseas. My younger brother chose this freakin’ place and what a disaster! I read the reviews which was poor but decided to give them a chance(WHAT A MISTAKE). An Asian lady who probably was the bar owner I guess appeared drunk and started moving my wallet and stuff around acting like she is busing my bar table without a permission. I told her to stop that I do not know who she is and she should’nt be touching my stuff without proper communication. Guess what? all hell broke loose and she was yelling out loud and embarrassingly. «CALLTHECOPS! GETYOURASSOUT!!! …we were all like SERIOUSLY… She called the bouncer to kick us out and guess what? they whispered to us that«she is CRAZY» and apologized on her drunken behalf. I simply asked for my check, paid, left a tip for the waitress, left and NEVEREVER to return here. Folks, please take reviews seriously… we are all true and everyday people. this is NOT a place to be the crowd is also not the type you really want to be around. Look for somewhere else to take your business and hopefully have fun!

I don’t have too much to say about this place. If you are looking for a live band in downtown Vacaville this is the place. The bands may not be top quality or even the quality you get at STARS but it will do donkey, it will do. Typically younger crowd. This place reminds me of a dive bar in a more metropolitan city. Has a little of that feel to it. Not a bad change of pace for the scene downtown. GOOD — Bartenders — Cheap cover charge for live music — Well located — Drinks are average nothing special — Not a bad joint to hang your hat BAD — Restrooms are rough — Can be packed at times — Smoking is right in front of the door — Bouncer somehow brings the place down a notch, don’t ask me how he just does. — No real TVs(unless its been updated) for daytime patrons UGLY — Restrooms

All the bars downtown suck ass and this one is no exception… If you like seeing duche bags from highschool you fit right in here… The bouncers a dick heads the bands are always local bands that arent very good… the bar tenders usually look cute but there not very nice or pleasent ive noticed… The worst part of the place is the people who go here… the customers are usually duche bag drunkin shit starters … as a side note all the bars downtown are very«clickish» … i guess im just tired of the vacaville downtown bar sence… enough is enough

I went here with a couple of pals from Vallejo. The moment we walked in there, one of the bartenders knew the twins that I was hanging out with. The owner gave me some food that she made. I had a cool time, I have to say. The place is unpretentious. People come as they are. The live bands are pretty cool too.

I explained to a male employee(on 12÷13÷09 @ approx. 11:10 am pacific time — this description is obviously for the venue owner to possibly identify this employee) that I inadvertently left my CC there several weeks ago and I then asked him to discard it. His response was as follows, verbatum, not paraphrased, «If I find it, I will toss it.» Then he proceeded to immediately disconnect the line without giving me a chance to react. Unless of course this is par for the course, I find this to be unacceptable and by no means alleviates my concern around future fraudulent charges. I will revise my 1 star rating if there is overwhelming public opinion to the contrary. Cancelled my CC. Unbelievable! I grew up in VV my entire life and never once visited Cheers until recently(I am now 27) and I had a decent time. I expected to revisit as frequently as possible to the extent that I was back home at my parents’, but I am vehemently opposed now. I will take my business to the other popular bar in downtown VV — can’t recall the name.

This is the only nice bar in Vacaville where you can see a live band. The owner is so sweet too. She loves to mingle with the patrons so go on and say howdy to her. If you say, «I heard about cheers on Unilocal» She will buy you a drink.
