Horrible service, our waitress smelt like she lived in an ashtray. She also brought my panckaes to me with an added bouns…(Huge black curley hair wrapped in between my whipped cream) And the resturant smelt like someone took a huge SHIT.

Yesterday i ordered for takeout for the family and It took 45 mins from ordering to picking it up. Food was cold and not only that, I understand one or two things missing or wrong but Half of the order was wrong. Mine as well eat there so they could fix the problem in person and the food could at least me hot. When the lady brought me my food, she accidentally stepped on my toe. Shaking my head. Also they missed one of my order so I had to go to nations burger next door and order another meal. Rough morning. Never ordering breakfast for takeout again. Good thing is on the way out the manager told the hostess not to take orders again. Maybe she’s new and she needed retraining. Her supervisor should have been there to support and provide guidance.

This place was pretty pathetic today. Only went because I had a giftcard from Christmas time, hah. I ordered the chicken, mushroom, & spinach crêpe with no hollandaise — trying to eat healthier & lose this baby weight. Lil man ordered the cinnamon brioche french toast meal that came with 2 eggs over medium, hash browns, & sausage. He liked his meal, typical diner food, but mine was hideous! Just swimming in grease… how is that? Chicken isn’t greasy… mushrooms & spinach aren’t greasy… so wth happened? The mgr on duty(older Asian lady) tried to argue with me, «It’s just water from the veggies.» Uuhhmm, NO! First, water isn’t brown & and/or yellow; and second, it doesn’t coat a plate, form little bubbles, coagulate, or separate. Don’t even try it, I took pictures. Our server was really nice though, thus 2 stars instead of only 1 star.

I would never eat here!!! I have walked into the place twice in a 2 year period and both times the smell of feces overflow toilet hits you right as you walk in. It is also very dirty inside… the carpets… Gross…ick.

Sweet Jesus, it was awful. I felt like I was exiled in Siberia. My hot chocolate was COLD. Server was decidedly less than friendly. The restaurant wasn’t busy, the food came out fairly fast but they screwed up hashbrowns… How do you do that? Not good food. Yuck. Never again. Seriously. Also, the bathroom smelled like raw sewage.

Typical IHOP. We were there early for breakfast, about 7:00am, and there was only one other person eating. The waitress was very friendly and got our food out to us quickly and accurately. I had one of the specials at the time, a waffle with bananas and a cream sauce with walnuts. It was pretty tasty, although I couldve done with less of the sweet cream sauce(but Im sure other people like it that sweet). Eggs and bacon were good as well. Overall a good place for breakfast!

Yuck. If I was ever a fan of IHOP, coming to this location totally made me do a 180. We stopped here on our way to Monterey a few months ago. I ordered their SIMPLE&FIT Two-Egg Breakfast that came with scrambled eggs substitute(I didn’t notice the substitute part when ordering), two strips of turkey bacon, whole wheat toast and seasonal mixed fruit. Since I’m gluten-free and don’t eat whole wheat toast, I asked the waitress if I could substitute it for some more turkey bacon. Back in the day, I could have sworn IHOP was accommodating but this lady told me no, that she couldn’t sub for more meat, and that she could just give me more eggs, if I wanted. What am I going to do with a plate full of eggs? I told her no, thanks, and she didn’t seem to care or offer me any alternatives. My husband ordered their T-Bone Steak & Eggs, which, according to their website, comes with, «a MOUTHWATERING T-Bone Steak served with three eggs and three buttermilk pancakes.» More on that later … OK, let’s start with my food first. First of all, were they ever egg substitutes! The eggs were absolutely disgusting, dry, and not fluffy. I know they’re substitutes but damnnn, Gina! Put a little effort into sprucing them bad boys up with some salt and pepper or something! Blah. Their turkey bacon was not good(I’ve made better Jennie-O turkey bacon at home), and their fruit was just okay. Definitely not the freshest or best quality. Now, my husband’s breakfast was just as much of a joke as mine. «Mouthwatering» T-Bone steak my butt! His eggs were gross, too, and I don’t even remember his thoughts about the pancakes. But, we ended up leaving, having spent $ 32 for two crappy breakfasts and not even being satisfied. Total rip-off. Also, good luck if you ever need to use the bathroom here. I would strongly urge you to hold it(don’t blame me if you get a bladder infection!) because their bathrooms are just foul and naaaasty! Dirty, toilet paper everywhere, definitely not well-maintained. Sorry, IHOP, as much as I used to love your pancakes, this location was just not up to par. Gonna have to go with a brutally honest 1-star rating! Yep — Eek! Methinks not!

I actually would give these people no stars. Me and my wife waited over an hour, drank 3 pots of coffee and used all the sugar and equal. Still no food. I realize it is Memorial Day and every person with the day off wants to go out and eat. People started leaving just walking out. I insisted on seeing the manager. What a joke she almost started to cry said I was yelling LMAO! Any way keep away I will never go back there.

My Uncle had just helped me pickup my new Whip Black Tiger and he mentioned he had a craving for Crepes. We spotted this Ihop so we stopped there for Breakfast . We rolled in and were greeted and seated. Our Waitress was nice and attentive. My Uncle ordered Blueberry Crepes and a Hamburger. He was famished LOL. I ordered Country Fried Steak, Mash Potato’s, Broccoli and Country Gravy. Our Waitress dropped of our Beverages and kept them full the whole time we were there. Our food came 20 Minutes later. The Chicken Fried Steak was good. But the Mash Potatoes and Vegetables were average. My Uncles seemed to enjoy his food. He is a regular IHop Customer . I paid the Tab with my Discover Card and we rolled out.

OK, I never thought I’s write a review on an IHOP, because quite frankly it is an IHOP, you know exactly what you are getting before you step foot into the place. However, I am giving the is IHOP5 stars because, after passing through Vacaville yesterday morning nd stopping with two small kids to grab breakfast, I am compelled to due to the amazing service of Patricia, the elderly waitress who was the frendliest, most helpful, pleasant waitress I have ever come across. I left the Vacaville IHOP a happier person than when I went in(and I was pretty happy when I went in) because her sunny disposition rubbed off on me. The world is a better place with the likes of Patricia in it!

I’ve been to so many IHOPs and I have to definitely say this one was the worst. First off it was a somewhat busy Sunday afternoon it took only 5 minutes to be seated — cool. However it took an additional 20 minutes before the server even acknowledged us. If you count, «I’ll be right with you» twice acknowledgement. OK now we’ve been sitting 35 minutes with a cranky toddler. And the server says, «Drinks?» Uh no we’re going to place our order now and hope we get out of this pit in the next 2 hours. My husband asks for a simple substitution of hashbrowns for eggs. It’s never ever been a problem at any other IHOP before. But now the server insists she will«get in trouble for it». WTF. The man doesn’t want eggs, if you are really going to make him pay for hashbrowns and charge for eggs(that we don’t want) fine, but don’t try to guilt us into placing a different order. Then she says«I get in trouble for stuff like this all the time» in hardly the next breath she says«This is my second day» Again. WTF. We finally get our food. My son’s scrambled egg is cool and looks disgusting. But there is no way I’m sending it back. We just want out of there. After waiting several more minutes for silverware, 3 attempts at asking for ketchup, we ate our crappy food and left. Good thing Vacaville has many good and affordable restaurants. Avoid this place.

I’ve been coming to IHOP for years. Then I lost 70 pounds and thought wow, I can’t eat here anymore. But then the local IHOP told me I could get harvest nut & grain batter in the Belgian waffle combo I always got in the past. That became my order, which I’ve had at probably 4 or 5 different IHOPs. I thought you could get it at any of their restaurants. That is, until now. The cooks absolutely refused here. They tried to tell me it was impossible, the waffles wouldn’t be done, something about having to cook it with butter? Finally I told her ok, give me the lite vegetarian omelet. 5 minutes later the manager came to tell me more about why they couldn’t do it, this time, she said it was because it would ruin the waffle maker! I told her about other IHOPs, to which she asked, which ones? I told her: Yuba City, Bradshaw in Sacramento, Northgate in Sacramento. She said she would call them but for now she couldn’t do it. It also was obvious to me that they hadn’t started ANY of our food, and it was 30 minutes in. So we left. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

As with all Ihops there is a massive selection of food. Service is good and this place doesnt seem to have much foot traffic. the best part is its OPEN24 – 7!!! Perfect for those late-night eats.

Why are people rating this 4 and 5 stars? I have to leave a rating just because of that reason alone… This place as been here long time everyones been to it atleast once… theres no reason to give it 5 stars EVER so ill assume those reviews are spam… Ok this is just a denny’s but with a different name Theres nothing special about the building the service or the food… The only reason to stop in here is because its after midnight and everything else is closed… No really its an IHOP come on what did you guyys think… theres only a few reviews because why even review it? ITSANIHOP… lol its like reveiwing denny’s, what for? we already know its denny’s just like we already know its an IHOP nothing esle needs to be said… LOL silly people and there 5 star reviews… lol

We love to eat out for breakfast and it is often times hard to find a place that doen’t have a 45min wait – so IHOP is a nice alternative. Fair service, nothing spectacular and the food is good. Last time we went to IHOP the food came out cold and we sent it back. Once returned it was smokin hot and tasted great. All around decent breakfast.

Outstanding service every time I come for breakfast on Sunday morning. All the servers I’ve had have been nothing but wonderful, always so attentive and pleasant. Kimberly particularly happens to stand out with her awesome service. I get the same dish every time I come in, their Spinach and Mushroom omelette with a side of Harvest Grain ‘n’ Nut pancakes — delicious! I usually split it with my dining companion with egg white substitute and no hollandaise and it always hits the spot. Other people seem to love that omelette as well since every single table seated around us on our last visit ordered the same thing. The restaurant is large and can accomodate many guests so even at peak breakfast hours the wait is never long, and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes if I ever had to wait at all. Once seated service is prompt as well. The one thing that could improve would be cleanliness, especially during busy hours when things aren’t cleaned as thoroughly. I’ve found pieces of food on the seat or under the table, and one time we had to ask for a new, cleaner plate. When pointed out the wait staff were quick to remedy the problem. Overall though great breakfast spot in Vacaville!

I’m not particularly a big fan of pancakes but I do like breakfast food as well as their appetizers. I have to say that out of all the IHOP’s I have been to(over 15 of them) this one had the best service I ever experienced. Drinks refilled frequently, as well as attentive service by all the staff. Add to this that the food was prepared exactly as ordered and served piping hot, I had to give this particular IHOP a 5 star review. I had the Country fried Steak breakfast and the appetizer combo(both my favorites here)

seriously i’m the first to review IHOP in Vacaville? hmmm… anyway, no matter what anybody says, they make the best buttermilk pancakes in the world. and i like that choice of syrup you get. i’ve been here a bunch of times, but i’ve never been past the breakfast page on the menu. the chicken fajita omelette is awesome, i definitely recommend that. they’ve done some remodeling lately, so it’s not as tore up and ghetto as it used to be in there. oh yeah avoid saturday/sunday morning(duh). good prices, and good breakfast specials if you’re into fattening and sugary… how could you not be?
