Their Margs with blackberry liquor= best decision I made all day. The wedge salad was better than the chop houses chop salad! If you like spicy order the Texas Caviar because it was awesome! I read the other reviews about service and they have def stepped it up because the staff and owner took great care of us!!!

There’s two tables in here at 3pm and it took 25 minutes to get water. Ordered some drinks after half our group went to the bar for drinks. Took another 10 minutes to get the drinks and they were out of the beer one of the guys wanted. Complained to the manager and not even a sorry or anything. Who’s running this place? We were starving but took our business elsewhere.

Great food in a sea of ordinary! Good service! Price is expensive, but worth it! Great location! As a local it takes a lot for me to spend this much, unless it’s worth the quality, in this case it IS! Nice bartenders, it’s slow for lunch during the ski season, which I thought was weird but it was nice during March Madness to escape the crowds, it’s still a secret! Will have to come again for diner sometime to be a true test… might need a loan!

Solantro’s was a nice place to hang out after a day on the mountain. Great happy hour specials(like $ 3 drafts and the strongest $ 5 margaritas you’ll ever experience) and yummy snacks(try the philly cheese steak egg rolls and the Solantro fries). They had some fun live music as well. We ended up going on three separate occasions during our week-long stay and had a great time each time.

Dirty, rude, terrible service, and disgusting food. Doesn’t get much worse. Only gave it one star, because not giving it any wasn’t an option.

This place was a nice surprise. When my friends and I were killing time before dinner, we decided to stop in for a drink. I have to admit that I was drawn in by the fun upstairs deck. When we got inside, I judged by the atmosphere that this would be your typical everyday bar, probably only good for a beer or standard mixed drink. Even though the deck brought us in, we opted for seats inside, figuring that we hadn’t skied so we didn’t deserve to sit outside… which is kind of weird in hindsight actually. Anyhow, we got menus and noticed that they had a wide variety of specialty cocktails. It was still apres ski so they had some drink specials as well. I decided to go with the Barrel Aged Manhattan and my friend ordered a drink with vodka and jalapeño. Another friend went with the apres bloody mary special. We also decided to share an order of guac. When the server brought our drinks, she set the jalapeño drink in front of me, and the manhattan in front of my friend. When we insisted that she had it backwards, she disagreed and said that we were wrong because the Barrel Aged Manhattan is her favorite drink(pointing to the drink with jalapeño). I’ve never had a manhattan with jalapeño… Sure enough, she had it backwards. It wasn’t a big deal, I only mention it because it’s clear that the server does not know the drinks. As it turns out, the important thing is that the bartender knows the drinks, and they were delicious. I tried all three and could have easily stayed to enjoy them all. On top of that, the guac was equally tasty, and served with seasoned tortilla chips. If we hadn’t had dinner plans, we would have gladly stayed. Lesson learned, don’t judge a book by its cover. Solantro’s has some nice surprises in store.

We walked in about 1:30 on a Tues. for a late lunch. There were a few tables taken but it was mostly empty. Not being from the area we didnt know it was a new place. Very friendly hostess sat us at a hightop in the bar area with a great view of the falling snow. Our waiter, Jamis, was exceptional. The 50 cent wings were mostly drums and all three flavors so delish. And the ceviche, perfectly presented and tasty, served with thin and crispy tortilla chips with visible salt on them. Quite pricey for lunch, especially if you are on vacation like us and enjoying midday libations, but worth it when food and service are done right.

We walked in after inspecting the menu for happy hour — lobster mac with chunky lobster pieces, fish tacos, $ 5 for margarita and $ 3 for nice beers. Had nice table at the back. Eating early après ski is great idea — tables always available and wait staff not overly tired. Suits us.

Disappointment… Fajitas greasy, well bar drinks diluted. We had a good server who tried hard to make up for poor bar service and mediocre food. Loud, expensive wine by the glass — will not be back.

It was a tragi-comedy of errors. First, they asked my wife WHOWASONCRUTCHES, if she wouldn’t mind moving to the other side of the restaurant so they could use our table for a party of 11. At the new table, my wife discovered a 1−½″ SCREW in her water. The waiter didn’t know anything about the beers, but suggested one that everyone else seemed to like. He had no idea what KIND of oysters were available but suggested that they might be from the East Coast. When the waiter returned to our table to find me spitting an inedible oyster into my napkin, he offered to bring me a couple more. Like I would actually want to give them another shot at me. My wife liked the gumbo, but it was cold. On the way out, the hostess me how everything was and I told her. They offered us NOTHING for moving my temporarily disabled wife, for the screw in her water or for the oysters that almost had me puking out my guts onto their floor. BRINGBACKTHETAPROOM.

What a great new addition to the Vail restaurant scene! They have a beautiful long bar that has plenty of room for apres skiing or a large group of friends. I had a Bushwacker(mudslide) drink special that packed a punch and was delicious! Super friendly bartenders. The drinks were so good we stayed for dinner. The corn chowder is to die for! My boyfriend had the Steak Oscar which he loved! Think surf and turf with an upscale twist! I loved my salmon, it was perfectly cooked. The wine list is really nice and not over priced. Try this place on your next trip to Vail! I cannot wait to go again!

Disorganized, kinda dirty, mismanaged. Garbage, sucks, awful. Couldn’t care less #staff. Um this place is atrocious for the price. If fact the owners should be taken out in ankle bracelets. How did I come to this? Over complicated menus, diverse bar(no cocktails((#bartending school))) and do they serve desert? No clue didn’t offer. This place is a kitchen nightmares in the making. The fajitas suck. Got shrimp, Didn’t devein them! Told waitress, didn’t care or mention to any authority. Lmfao. Place sucks. They don’t like you or your money. update: i’ve lived in vail 7 years, worked restaurants 10+ and have NEVERWATCHEDTHEOWNERCOMPLAINHEROWNFOODWITHOUTASKINGTHEGUESTSSHEWASSITTINGNEXTTOIFTHEIRFOODWASOKAY.
