Regency Inn

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. But I’ll start with this… Its my boyfriend, our daughter and myself. We come to Georgia to start a better life. Our friends brought us here since they also were renting a room. They paid $ 154. My boyfriend goes to get a room requesting the exact same type of room, the guy was absolutely rude and charged $ 175, which is $ 3 less then another friend is being charhed with pets. We have no pets. We got teo beds andbonly needed one. Apparently the women is nice and charges the actual cost however the guy overcharges. Moving on… We enter the room and immediately hit by the smell of weed and cigerattes. The bathroom smells like mildrew and shit. This whole place is unsafe, we discovered a roof outside caving in. I wouldn’t recommend this place to the devil himself. I’d give no stars but that’s apparently not an option. Hell they don’t have proper housekeeping, for god sakes the ladies push a grocery cart around.

I have never stayed in worse, more filthy accommodations. Don’t stay here unless they pay you to do so, then bring all the protection you can think of because you’ll need it! Ugh!

Starting with the positive — it is inexpensive, and the staff is nice and as helpful as they can be. It’s also close to a huge Super WalMart, McDonald’s, IHOP, and I-​75.
The negative — it’s just rundown. The phone jack doesn’t properly seat the phone cord, so the room phone didn’t work for me to call the front desk to ask them if they could fix my shower b/​c the water was either too hot or scalding. The electrical outlets were sparse and either partially not functional or didn’t hold or charge whatever I had plugged into them. A few worked — as long as I used the extension cord the hotel had attached to them. The mattress is saggy and the pillows are who knows how old — inconsistent sizes, stained pillow cases. The towels are old and I think have had fabric softener used on them so that they don’t absorb well.
The people outside/​who stayed here when I was here (mid-​July, 2014) were loud and milled around outside, despite the heat. At 10:30 pm, I heard someone yelling to someone else outside about a pizza party…
Overall, it is inexpensive. The staff is nice. Location is fine. Nothing of mine was stolen nor was I harassed or harmed. I just don’t feel safe here, and my money would be better spent elsewhere.
