I think its sad that the credit card machine has a selection for tips. Tips should be based off of the total experience, as well as not a pressure setting. Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, tips were a way waitresses made their extra income. Tips were not based off the food, but the service you received. When I chose not to push the tip button I thought the lady was going to have a fit. Customer relations sure hit a the core there. Why should a machine tell me how much I should tip? I was one of the very first customers when this place opened up, but it has really changed over the years.

We love Jersey Mike’s and go here quite often. Jimmy, the manager makes the best sandwiches! It is pretty much hit or miss when Jimmy is not around. Today was pretty bad and prompted me to write this review. There was hardly any meat in my sandwich. I thought ok maybe it just looks like less but I could hardly taste anything but the bread. It’s disappointing because I like Jersey Mike’s over any other sandwich place and don’t mind paying a bit more but can you please give me a full sandwich??? Please? Hi Jimmy! I saw you today but you were busy doing something. You are a great manager and have the best customer service. We love coming here and will be back. Hopefully with healthier looking sandwiches…

Always reliable, good, quick and clean. Location is good, employees(especially Genevieve) are fantastic and the fold always tastes fresh. Subway/Togos etc. doesn’t hold a candle to J. Mike’s, you can taste it in the quality.

I have to agree with some reviews here, they are NOW just ok, at best. We(family) used to really enjoy their subs, but lately they are– 1. SMALLER, 2. less flavor in meat and cheeses, 3. Cost more, 4. Seem to want tips. We’ve visited others and they are all similar in quality, but my wife’s relatives live in Valencia. 1. We know the subs are smaller. We haven’t grown, but it seems like we’re a foot taller when we get these tiny subs now. They fit in your hand like a hot dog bun, not a sub now. 2. Missing something? Flavor. Seasoning with Mikes Way helps, but the quality HAS changed. Period. 3. Cost more — did I say that already? $ 9 or more for a small hot dog size Sub? We’re trying the competition next time we crave subs. Togos did the same and now they’re in woo. Businesses need to realize Consumers are VERY perceptive, and you can’t fool us with switchery. We spend a lot of money on food, so treat us right, as we will go to the one who does. 4. What is this«tip» screen? You can’t join, use their«club» points or pay with plastic without them asking for a FRIKKIN tip. I ALREADYBOUGHT A $ 9 hot dog sub!, Why do I have to tip? I don’t need to hear a bell ring, I’m good. Pay your employees more, reduce your staff, or let go of some of your millions in profits to keep customers who aren’t pressed to tip at FASTFOOD. We aren’t being served anything. It is a self serve, get your own chips, drink, utensils, dessert, etc. Bottom line, get back to the original service you got us hooked on, the food is why we returned in the PAST, I’m not tipping anyone in fast food service. JM reviews should be high 4s and 5s. Sad.

I don’t get it. Why do people like this place. The sandwiches are average. Ive given it a second and third chance and I don’t get it. Do I want it mikes way… ah …no…I would like it my way, that’s why I’m over paying for this sandwich. The employees are always great so nothing on them. Many people love this place, I’m just not one of them.

always fresh. i always get the caesar wrap with spinach tortilla… so goooooood. my brother hates veggies but he eats the lettuce and tomato from here. their bathroom is clean along with the eating floor space. only thing i don’t like about this jersey mike’s is that the order i get takes awhile. and i get that. cept everytime i go the staff is busy talking and joking with one another that they MAKE it slow. then through all their chatter my wrap gets WRAPPED slow too. honestly can’t they maybe multitask or do my order first? i pay for my food and they talk their way through. i have to get my food and be somewhere too. i don’t have all the time. and if it happened once or twice FINE. but it’s like this EVERY damn time i go. maybe i should just order a sub from now instead of giving them an excuse to slow down my wrap.

I prefer Jersey Mike’s to Subway any day, but Togo’s is my favorite sandwich place. That said, Jersey Mike’s is closer and cheaper so I come here more. I love their wraps, they’ve got so many options! The sandwiches are delicious as well. They slice the meat and make your sandwich right in front of you, you customizing it however you like or ordering a pre-constructed item from their menu. Jersey Mike’s offers their own special«Mike’s Way» blend of salt, pepper, vinegar, and red onions I believe to add to your sandwich at the end. It’s a tasty option, but I’ve found that it makes your meal a little soggy, especially if you’re planning on saving the second half for another meal. Every time I’ve been in the workers have been friendly and quick. Except for the last time, their was an obvious newer employee tasked with making all of the sandwiches herself during the dinner rush. I get people need to learn, but shouldn’t cash register girl or meat slicer man pitch in if the line gets backed up? I like the Jersey Mike’s in Stevenson’s Ranch better for the simple reason that they have a free chip and drink check in offer and this location does not. But that’s way too far to drive for a free drink so unless I’m in that area, I come here. They offer a great rewards system though, use their punch card or your registered number so many times and you obtain points for free food!

*MOLD* I was so disappointed today with my Jersey Mike’s. It is usually our go to place when we are trying to eat on the fly. The staff is genuinely nice and the restaurant is always, but tonight our food was literally ROTTEN! The bread had MOLD on several spots. I contemplated about going back to to complain but then realized the only peope working at the time of my order were youngsters who would’ve have brushed it off. Major fail tonight Mike… Major fail. Your food was rotten! Thanks!

You get what you pay for when it comes to lunch meat. You can find cheaper places but you won’t get this quality of food. I like the cold sandwiches better than the hot ones.

Yuck. Rather go to subway for sandwiches. This place blows. Chicken doesn’t taste right, doesn’t even taste like chixken. Never going back.

Great alternative to Subway! Clean and fresh, JM’s has a great line up of subs. They even offer them as a salad. I always order them as a «sub in a tub» to cut down on those pesky carbs so I don’t have to count them on the treadmill. Downside, they only have Pepsi products which I’ll accept, but nothing beats Coke! Here’s a tip, order your favorite sub in a tub and add extra onions, oil & vinegar. It’s the best!

For a sandwich shop they are as fresh as you can get. They slice the meat in front of you and have great quality foods. The bread is perfect! Thanks for adding Avocado!

Of the sub chains that proliferate the fast food landscape, Jersey Mike’s is certainly my favorite. Maybe it’s how oregano comes standard? Or how it seems fresher with the meat being cut right at time of order instead of being peeled off paper? Or how they are always friendly? Or maybe because my wife lived in Jersey for a few months when she was a kid? It’s not the cheapest by any stretch so I’m not going to try and sell you on that one. But when I feel like treating myself, which I deserve to do every so often, there is nothing like a Jersey Mikes!

I guess my check in didn’t take when I came her for lunch. I met a friend here and it was my first time at Jersey Mikes. I like the concept of having my sandwich meats cut fresh and built the way I like it, the only thing I didn’t like was the price. It is a bit high for a sub, but the sub was good. I would definitely go back so I can give them another try, but maybe with a coupon.

The good: friendly service, Paradise Tropical iced tea. The room for improvement: meat is piled LOW meaning«where’s the beef» This time around I was not satisfied with the meat portion on my giant size sandwich. It feels like they put the same amount of meat as a regular size and just spread the meat over more bread. The pastrami slices are thin which is fine but the layer is so little that the bread is what you taste more than the sandwich. With a name like Jersey Mike you can’t have portions so petite.

This place has twist on neighborhood sandwich shop blended with corporate high quality food chain. Love the oil and vinegar«Mike’s way» they use and when u tip them they ring a bell and all the employees yell. The sandwiches are savory filled with thinly sliced goodness. They will pretty much make any sandwich you want the way u want it.

Leaps and bounds better than Subway. I wish there was a Jersey Mike’s closer to me(though we do have Bay Cities so I guess I can’t complain). I have to say that every time we come here we are met with warm greetings and fresh, delicious cold cuts. This time it looked like the owner was also in the mix, making sure we had a good lunch. Their special sauce/spices sure do the trick, and I have never had a bad experience at any of the locations.
