Good place, found it on Unilocal.Good menu selection of ayce. We stopped after our busy day Magic Mountian and it was a great meal after our long day. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. My daughter loved the mussels and my salmon sushi tasted fresh! We don’t live in this town but we would eat here again if we came back through the area.

So good! AYCE is the best way to go unless you only want one roll… But it is so easy to eat over $ 26 worth of food cause it is so good!!! Good waitress to never had an empty cup or had to search her out to get more food very attentive ! Will be back for sure

Great price for pretty decent sushi! Stuffed my self with all you can eat. Terak roll was delicious. I was a hungry customer and picky. Stephanie was amazing!

All you can eat but the quality is really meh! Won’t be going back. We went just to try it and see what the buzz was about. We went to Kabuki the following night and the difference was night and day. You do really get what you pay for. Come here if you want to stuff your face and don’t really care about the quality of your food. They make everything so large that you’ll really get full after 1 or 2 rolls. Also, they kept forgetting to give me the uni, one waitress even said they«maybe» out. That was very«fishy» for a sushi restaurant.

Great food and service! Sushi is very fresh. Just a little cramped interior, which is the only reason it didn’t get the 5th star

First off, their sushi is very inconsistent. Some days the sushi melts in your mouth and others, it is super chewy and tastes fishy. I’ve been here for both al a carte and ayce. The pieces of fish are huge for the two piece sushi orders and the portions are huge for the sushi rolls. I feel like you lose money when you do the ayce because you end up only ordering a few things because the portions are so big. If you visit, I would stick to the al a carte. Unfortunately, because of the inconsistency of the fish, I won’t be returning. I’ll stick to Midori in encino :)

This may be my new favorite sushi place. The staff was friendly, especially Stefanie. She is too trill. I died and went to heaven when I tried the bakes salmon roll. Nothing in life can beat the first high of biting into the baked salmon roll. Portions are enormous!

Not bad for a little sushi craving. Ordered some halibut sashimi and rolls. The service was good and the place was packed. I think it was a Saturday so it made sense why it was so busy. You might have to wait for a table so make sure you plan for that if you come on a weekend. The servers were really sharp and moved fast so we didn’t have to wait too long. The place is a little cramped so you will feel the energy when you visit.

Love this place and would give it 5 stars if it was not completely packed and service was a little slow. Other than that 5 stars Some of the food rivals Kinza and it’s all you can eat . I will definitely do it again

This is the spot we always hit when we come down to Magic Mountain. The service is good but it was mid-week. The sushi was pretty fresh and my favorite dish was the raw oyster with ceviche!

For my first time there, I was impressed on the roll size and how good it was. I didn’t do the AYCE this time but I will definitely next time. Both rolls that I tried were very fresh and delicious. Service was pretty good as well.

This place is great! We almost always do all you can eat, which is always the best valuable &(variable) choice I post all my pictures up as I order things… What you see is what you get– fresh, amazing and delicious California style sushi with legit and authentic products! Yummmm, but a dangerous place to live just down the street from. By far this place is my ultimate favorite in LA!

Came in on Saturday at 5 pm… first in line… wha-hoo!!! That is the best time to get there or you will be waiting. Here is the problem… I saw a notice of change in ownership in the window and I asked one of the regular waitresses what was going on. She was really busy, but said don’t worry things would be the same… color me panic stricken!!! Hopefully nothing will change. I had my usual sashimi here including the sea scallops that are like butter… so velvety smooth and flavorful and the yellow tail which are cut large and in charge. Also got the jalapeño mussels this past time and an order of the 911 rolls… mmmmmmm, that sauce with it is love.

I have a love-hate relationship with Mr. Sushi, but for the moment I think 3 stars is sufficient. I could count the number of hours I spend debating between coming to Mr. Sushi or Shogun on a given night. Let’s start with the good. The sushi is fresh and they have large portions. I always opt for the AYCE so I don’t have to be limited in how much to order and I get my money’s worth when it comes to sushi. Their AYCE menu is divided into sushi, specialty items, and cooked/kitchen items. Specialty items are limited to one order per person and include items like uni, white fish sashimi, sea scallops, oysters, oyster ceviche, and monk fish liver. Be careful when ordering because some orders come with a lot. For example, the white fish sashimi comes with at least 10 or so pieces so you only need one order for the entire group. At first we were thinking sashimi which is usually served as 2 pieces and we put down 7 orders. Thankfully our waiter double checked with us. They do charge for unfinished leftovers and I’ve seen them try to enforce it on another table. My usual order is salmon, mackerel, yellowtail, spicy scallop hand roll, squid, unagi, uni, sea scallop, oysters, seaweed salad, baked green mussels, tempura, miso soup… plus or minus a few depending on my stomach capacity for the day. Fresh fresh uni… if they have it! I’ve only been fortunate to have their uni once out of the handful of times I’ve eaten here. I guess you have to luck out or be an insider to know when they get their delivery. It is starting to get a little annoying that they are always out. The last time I got uni from Mr. Sushi was October 2014! Sea scallop — I think most people including myself are used to bay scallops in sushi and Mr. Sushi introduced me to the sea scallop. It is a soft, sweet, buttery piece of fish that is delectable. Although, this is also one of those fish types you can get sick of if you eat too much of it in one sitting(probably a good thing it’s on the specialty items section). What do I NOT recommend getting from the AYCE menu? Ramen – the portion is too large that you will get full on soup and the broth/noodles are not legit tasting. Special rolls – just not my thing with too much rice, sauce, and imitation crab filler. Then there’s the bad. Service is pretty atrocious here. There are probably two waiters(1 female, 1 male) who are the exceptions and are probably the reason this place doesn’t fall apart. Majority of the servers are slow and forgetful, which makes dinner last that much longer which means turnover for tables is longer and the wait to get a table is longer. They also have a pretty terrible host dude who spent more time flirting with girls than doing his job. The tables and floor always seem dirtier than they should be and before I sit down I’m looking for a wad of sushi rice on my chair. The management really needs to get their act together and if that ever happens, Mr. Sushi would get upgraded as my go to sushi spot.

After an eventful day at Six Flags, we decided to hit up the area’s AYCE gem: Mr. Sushi. My boyfriend is from the area and has been here twice, and he just LOVESIT. Well, on this fateful Saturday, he did not. And that makes me sad. This is a review that will piggyback on another review… and that review is written by Kirk M. I’d like to reiterate his arguments about the spirit of AYCE sushi — consumers enjoy indulging in AYCE if they are able to succumb their palates to a variety of dishes, not worry about being blind-sided by an extra charge for not eating every grain of rice, when the kitchen was setting us up for failure from the start! I was BAFFLED at how large some of the rolls were. My goodness, the popcorn lobster«roll» was a damn sushi cake, with a pound of fried langosteen lobster piled on top. If we had not ordered AYCE, we would have been satisfied with this dish alone. But seeing as how we went with AYCE, it was a disappointment. We barely got to try anything since we had to be wary of the portion sizes. And to add to the colossal portions here, the AYCE rules posted on the table do, indeed, make the entire experience slightly sour. There may be a half-hearted disclaimer at the end of the threat, but it made my party feel guilty before a crime had even been committed. So a tip to management… lighten up a bit. During our entire experience, one of the servers, who we nicknamed«Ms. Sushi», would hover around us, her movements reminiscent of… a hawk. Or a vulture… or an angry school teacher ready to catch us in the act. Another slight damper on our meal. Onto the next frustration! If you know my AYCE sushi tendencies, I always get baked mussels… My 2 orders(5 mussels per order) were tough and overcooked; and their dynamite sauce had too much mayo and smelled. Yo girl is not picky when it comes to baked mussels. But it completely missed the mark. Do not recommend. However, grievances aside, the quality of food is good. The fish quality was much better than expected and almost the best quality I’ve had at any AYCE place. The rolls menu had plenty of variety, the menu was vast. It was two hairs too short of being a dream come true… I will blacklist this place until they make a few changes.

I have driven past this place a dozen times and didn’t give it much thought. But boy am I glad i stopped in finally. I was on the hunt for good a Bento Box in the area and got it here! From the outside it’s just another strip mall restaurant. On the inside the place is jumpin! Mr Sushi offers full sushi bar and sit down eating. They get a lot of people in here. The have hosted service and we had great service form the wait staff. I ordered the 2 item bento box. It came with miso soup, salad, rice, mixed tempura, and choice of the 2 items of chicken, salmon, beef teriyaki or various rolls or sushi. I got the sesame chicken and spicy tuna roll. The chicken was great, crispy and flavorful. The spicy tuna roll was good too — tasted fresh. Nice big shrimp in the tempura too. For about $ 10 it was a good amount of food. We also got a kids meal and it looked good too! It came with chicken teriyaki, rice, 2 shrimp tempura, and edamame. We got there just before the 7pm rush. By then there were several groups waiting outside and in front by the hostess. Another good sign. Parking lot fills up but not impossible. I’ll be back to try more of Mr Sushi.

My favorite sushi spot in Santa Clarita! They are always busy, but still manage to provide great service. I really enjoyed their AYCE, and they have decent ramen as well. I believe the AYCE is 27 or 28 bucks for dinner, which is a great deal considering everything it includes. Tip for AYCE: their appetizers are delicious, but quite large. If you want to order apps, I recommend sharing an appetizer with a friend or you will get full off of just a few orders! Recommendations for AYCE(some are limited to 1 order per person): –oysters –ankimo –halibut –albacore –yellow tail –tuna
