I have never been in this store one time where the line isn’t a mile long. It’s not the people working here, I watch them and they are good workers. It’s the stupid fucks that shop here. You have forever and a day to get your money together and make sure you have your money. But for some reason, the customers have no common sense or brains for that matter. I’ve almost jumped out of my skin twice as Gomer picked his ass at the register while 30 people waited. I also love it when someone holds up the line while their fat, smelly girlfriend takes her sweet time bringing more fig newtons to the register. Last thing you need.

Really annoyed with this store. I brought my mother here a few nights ago and the customer service was horrible. There was only one register open for a slow line and the manager along with another associate were talking and laughing and singing(really!!!) with the cashier. They never even bothered to acknowledge the line or help any other guests. What is it with establishments hiring people who don’t like to serve customers? You shouldn’t be in customer service if you don’t care about people!

Of course there are tons of bargains here, but everyone knows this about this chain of stores. I felt compelled to write this based on my visit to this particular store on Sonoma Blvd. Approximately 30 people waiting in line to pay & only 2 cashiers. And this is when they decide is a good time to stop the cashiers from checking people out so they could count out money in the drawers & the lines grow longer. As I finally reached the counter with my 3 items, the loudspeaker comes on from security ordering an elderly man not to exit the store with their shopping cart. The customer was an elderly man with a full cart of items he had just purchased. The guard had cut him off right outside the exit & told him(repeatedly) that it is store policy not to allow customers to take carts from the store. The elderly man pointed to his car(parked a few rows from the store entrance) & asked if he could please take his stuff to his car & return the cart immediately. The Fascist security guard kept going about store policy. Clearly, the amount of this gentlemen’s purchases was more than he could carry himself. I had to step up. I told the guard maybe he could help him carry his stuff. «I can’t leave my post».(Oh, I didn’t know you were guarding treasure!). I was just released from the hospital yesterday, nearly died just days ago & was not well enough physically to help him myself or I would have. So, yeah, great bargains… HORRIBLE customer service!

It feels a bit clustered when you come here but hey, you cant go wrong finding great stuff for just $ 1. customer service… well when you find someone better try to stop them to help you out. During graduations, holidays etc etc, it’s sooo much busier than regular days. You think Safeway lines are long, wait until you get here. Well worth it at the end. Especially on medicine, bathroom products. Things well over $ 5 everywhere else you can find here for $ 1 with almost the same amount of quantity. Its all the same once you figure out the same ingredients on the back of the product, you are just paying for the«brand name». Candy bags for $ 1 verses $ 5& + i am a DVD lover /collector, they have a section where you would be surprised by what you find, when you are lucky. You have those baby Einstein learning DVDs for $ 1.

Why would you not give Dollar Tree 5 stars??? Everything is a DOLLAR! They have alot of frozen things I always stop in for French toast sticks. My other half always comes for random holiday decorations. If you had to you could get everything you need to survive. Stop by.

It’s still a hot mess. But where else for $ 1 each can you get: –The bra strap holders that they sell online for $ 10 plus shipping –Nipple covers(yup) –Microfiber hair towel –Pedi egg –That finger shaver(as seen on TV) — Silk Christmas Stockings — Cell Phone protector/skin(Damn, just paid $ 5 on ebay) — Christmas décor out the yahoooooo And my customer service experience was pretty darn good. I saw someone running up and down the aisles picking things up and hanging them up on the shelves. The selection was great and plentiful. The other customers are a bit eccentric, but it just adds to the charm.

This store’s def. ghetto. You always have to wait in line(forever) and the place feels dirty & cramped. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not HORRIBLE… it’s just bleh. I still shop here though, when passing, but I wish they could get their stuff together a little more than it is. You can find some cool crap here. (Including some things other $ stores like 99 Cents Only doesn’t have). Check it… Maybe?

I thought it only appropo that my 100th review be for the almighty $ 1.00 store… –Cleanliness? What a MESS –Customer Service? Yeah right! –Quality goods? 5% of the time Virgo, but why 5 Stars you say? It is the DOLLAR store. 100 Pennies per item! Set your expectations when you walk in the door and you wont be disappointed :). I can go to my beloved Target, spend 100 bux(and I do often) and have 10 – 15 things. Here, I spend $ 60 bucks and I have 60 things! Sometimes more… greeting cards are 2 for a buck! And the price isnt on the back so no one will ever know you spent 50cent on their card! Wouldnt you rather me spend the extra couple of bucks on your gift? Yes, that’s what I thought! ;-) I like this place… SB right next door. You cant go wrong. What else do I get here you wonder? –Foil Paper and Pans –Cleaning supplies(windex, dishwash liq, bleach – name brands!!) –Trash Bags –Tooth Paste –Pink Razors –Talcum Powder –Random holiday decorations(you have to really look for the cute stuff) –Gift bags and wrap –Colorful party plates and supplies And as a treat and to get ‘em out of my hair so I can focus… offspring gets $ 5 bux to go NUTS. In today’s time of cut backs, I love having the Dollar Store as a source for affordable household and basic grooming needs. To show my appreciation… Dollar Tree, you get my 100!

Still on the hunt for party favors for my friend, I stopped in here. The store was a bit messy and disorganized, but not as bad as the San Pablo Store. The staff was basically indifferent, but at least they weren’t cold or rude.

In an effort to make this review useful, I will say that they have quite a wide array of candy, even big bags of stuff, for a dollar. Snacks too. Gadgets. Christmas decorations, I’m sure. Halloween glow sticks. Office supplies. The place is somewhat messy, and hot, but it could be worse. But all I really wanted to say was: I’m never getting Twizzlers from Best Buy again.
