Pizza Guys

Pizza guys was really good and really fast. We called Round Table first and it was an hour and 45 min wait. We called Pizza Guys, they said a 40 min wait and where there in 30 min. The Mediterranean salad is amazing and fresh.

Tonight we ordered online. I Iove munchies with my pizza but we got a phone call after the order was placed the card charged that they were out of munchies. They asked if we wanted to substitute so we asked for jalapeño cheesy bread. The girl told us that because it was a dollar more they could only give us regular garlic bread, not the jalapeño bread. We asked to speak to the manager on duty and got Celeste who was obviously aware of the situation as she immediately reiterated before she even introduced herself. We explained the order was placed online, our card was charged, it was not our fault that the online inventory doesn’t reflect correctly and we don’t want regular bread. She then asked if my husband was a ma’am or sir, and proceeded to tell us that normally they don’t do it but they will this time and that next time we need to understand that they can’t.
1)Your margins on pizza are huge, a dollar isn’t gong to break you.
2)Your website took my money under no circumstances should you be holding it hostage over a dollar difference in product, that’s basic customer service.
3)Don’t tell me you’re going to mistreat me in the future if your website malfunctions on me, it makes me very hesitant to order in the future with you period.
4)Please learn how to react appropriately to situations like this because what I experienced tonight was not right.

I read all the raving reviews so I decided this place was worth a shot. Turns out that I am not a fan. The pizza was not the best tasting I have ever had, infact, i was disappointed because I spent so much for my order. I will say the the bacon cheese bread was good. I won’t go here again though. Some people like it, I am just not one of them

Very courteous service every time we were served on the phone and with the deliveries.

First off, the Web Site. Kudos to the Pizza Guys for updating their website to something that actually works. It is still a little clunky and needs some work, but it is leaps ahead of where it was. It’s too bad you cannot create your own user-​name /​password for the site without giving up your email information. If you trust companies with your mail and don’t mind the Spam or potential sale of your information to other companies go ahead, however I suggest calling in if possible. The website appears to be compatible with Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer without many issues.
Next, the call in to Pizza Guys. I called 4 times broken in 5minute intervals, each time leading me to an answering system that was full. This was between 5:30pm and 5:50pm. On the 5^th try I finally got through to Pizza Guys and it took 5min 26sec wait on the phone before I was assisted. My order for the evening was the Buffalo Chicken Pizza with a 6pc order of Hot Wings and a 2 litre bottle of Sierra Mist. I noticed while on the phone the lady whom took my order applied a coupon to my order to bring the price down, without me asking. (Thank you) The total cost for my order was 29.93 which means she saved me approx. 4 – 5 dollars.
The Pizza Delivery person arrived in approx 40minutes. It was still nice and hot. The pizza was delicious. The pizza had a very small amount of grease which is nice, I included a picture of the box with 2 slices missing so you can see how little clings to the box. It has a slight bend to the slices of the pizza which to me is just perfect. The cheese is of a medium quality, doesn’t really stretch apart, however do to all the flavours of the toppings this is easily acceptable. The chicken and other toppings were seasoned and moist, all of which complemented each other.
The Hot wings I ordered were mediocre. The sauce was delicious and I felt like my mouth was on fire without a nasty blast of vinegar. YUM. However the chicken itself was overdone to the point of being dry and a little stringy. To be fair, most places I’ve ordered from aren’t too consistent in Vallejo with the quality of the Hot Wings so I will have to order several more times to see if this is the norm or a fluke.
Sierra Mist was cold and tasted good :P

I had a great experience with these guys! Usually I order from Nujos, but I figured I’d give these guys a shot. I ordered a medium 3-​topping pizza for delivery, which they said would be about 50 minutes. They ended up being 20 minutes early (which is always awesome, especially when waiting for pizza) and it was loaded with toppings! The delivery guy was nice and the pizza was delicious. It was a little pricey, but what do you expect when ordering delivery and adding a tip? Overall, a great experience. Definitely in the same league as Nujos in terms of quality, and one step above in terms of fast service! I will definitely be ordering from these guys again.

A while back I had ordered a pizza to be delivered. I live on the border of Vallejo and AC, but in Vallejo. They took my order charged my CC and said it would take about 45 min. After an hour and no pizza yet I called and someone else picked up the phone and I asked about my pizza, he told me that they don’t deliver to my area! WTHeck?!? He said he would refund my $ back to my CC, it took about a week. No, Apologies or anything. TERRIBLE customer service…

Pizza Guys is cool. The employees are decent, they answer the phone promptly when I call usually. They’re probably the cheapest pizza you can get in town besides little Caesars. With that being said, quality wise it’s like a small step up from little Caesars but I wouldn’t say it’s the most best pizza in the world. I order here when I’m on a budget but too lazy to pick up a pizza from little Caesars. My main complaint is that I wish their crust was a little thicker. The crust is like super thin!!! But other than that I would recommend here to anyone who was curious about the place.

UPDATE:
Since my initial review, I was contacted by two separate people at Pizza Guys. Their effort to attempt to rectify the situation is commendable, as most places would not care about quality control.
I might have to give them a 2^nd shot in the future.

Plain and simple — not good. Edible, but not worth the cost. Had it delivered and it got cold super fast.
I was really trying to like this because I’m a Sacramento Kings fan… but it’s safe to say I am NOT a pizza guy/​gal.

NOPE. I called tonight and asked if they delivered to American Canyon. Was told yes so I placed our order and was told it would be here in 45 minutes. 25 minutes later, they called and said that they had made a mistake and they wouldn’t deliver here — it was too far out of their delivery area. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Yeah, corporate will be getting a call about this one.

NICKOLAS NICHOLAS IS A PIZZA ANGEL. This place is fantastic, they always get the order right, and Nickolas Nicholas is a professional, wonderful pizza fairy godmother. Why? Because I called close to the time they stop delivering and I told him I’m stuck at home, starving to death, with a broken ankle and to please deliver; and guess what? Nick came through with the utmost gentlemanly professionalism and now I’m a happy, well fed, (current) cripple. I literally could not ask for more from a pizza place.

The owner emailed me today and also called me apologizing and offering me a free xl pizza. This makes my experience better. I will update once I try the pizza and comment about the food.
** got my free xl pizza. Was delicious. We got the garlic lovers pizza and it was super hot and fresh. Loved the white garlic sauce. It was delivered very fast. The owner definitely made my experience better. He obviously cares about his customers. Super happy with the issue getting fixed and him taking the appropriate action. Also very happy with the food I got. It was so yummy and I will definitely order there again now.

This is a redemption review. After the negative review I posted about a week ago management contacted me. They were awesome! They really listened and they apologized for my bad experience. I went back, had great service and the pizza was yummy. I will definitely be back.

Great pizza, really good prices and the staff is friendly! Very convenient to where live, definitely recommend this place.

Personally I don’t like the pizza. Delivery was prompt but it was tasteless. Delivery pizza in itself is an art. I like my pizza fresh, hot and not stale. The pizza that was delivered was cold and stale. Decent prices but not good quality

I use to frequent the location in Walnut Creek since I worked close by, and when I found out there’s a place in Vallejo, I had to try them out.
Nevertheless, service is superb. I have yet to get their combination pizzas and go straight for the 2 for $ 20; which is a bang for your buck (2 topping large pizzas). They’re quite generous with their toppings and doesn’t count the sauce as a ‘topping’ unlike their competitors.
If you’re able to, pick up the pizza. You’d get a free drink or ice cream. Delivery is inconsistent and if you’re dying of hunger, you most likely won’t make it alive.

I ordered pizza from this company as a new customer; I’ve haven’t ordered from this place before but I heard great things about them. The pizza I ordered was a create your own pizza. Half Pepperoni and Half Tuscan Garlic Chicken Pizza. I must say the order delivery arrived pretty fast, the delivery guy Eric was very nice and he made to the destination fast. I enjoyed my pizza; my son and his friend loved the Pepperoni pizza too, and it was delicious. I definitely will order from them again. The Tuscan Garlic Chicken Pizza is my favorite now. Thank you Pizza Guys. You have a new customer!!!
