Subway

Typical subway. Service was a little slow when I went. Get the sub of the day for $ 6! It’s yummy. Did you know that they charge for toasting a sandwich! Ya I know, crazy!

I went to this Subway location today for lunch. I wanted to use the Restroom prior to ordering my food. The restroom door had a combo lock on it and I was told it was not for customer use. I don’t think that is a good way to treat your customers. I took my business down the street to the Subway on Solano Ave which is a nicer Subway and they provide a restroom for their customers.

Is this a restaurant? If so, why are the bathroom doors locked with a, sign that says Not For Public Use? I asked the lady behind the counter, how am I supposed to wash my hands before I eat your food. She replied, sorry, you can’t do that here. We left.

I have gone here several times during lunch rush hour and it is always very understaffed. There are usually several people in line ahead of me and only 2 workers. It usually takes me about 15 mins just to get a sandwich.
Also, after ordering a sandwich, I just asked for a cup for water and they said «they were all out of those cups,» and refused to give me a cup. That’s the first time I’ve ever been to a restaurant that refused me water.

First off, when you enter the shop, there is a homeless person seated at a table who panhandles you for «something to eat». Then, wait for it, the server was very cordial; however she did not wear rubber gloves as all the other subway servers do. The milk is also overpriced at this location. In other words, there are other Subways closeby.

This place is fast and clean! Taste the same as all the other subways as you would expect! However not the best customer service! I’ve been treated better els where! The have a lady here who has worked there a long time who isn’t so much rude but she’s not very nice either!

Prices are higher than the other 2 Vallejo subways
aggressively try to «upsell» cookies, etc. while taking order
the parking sucks
a few «unsavory» characters lurking around the door
chance of rain is supposed to be 80 percent tomorrow, chance me returning to this subway is less than 20%

Great sandwiches and great service. Jessa was perfect and timely. Her attitude was great and her customer service skills were awesome. Very pleasant visit. Thanks Jessa! Keep up the good work!

Great service, the older lady here is so nice and funny!

Good. Fresh. Lots of toppings. Fast n friendly. I actually liked the falafel on salad, good choice for vegetarians. You can get any sandwich no bread over lettuce instead. Good choice.

UPDATE 2. they redecorated the place i like it, and they make your sandwich way faster now, i dont like them slow workers, but yea love it, i love subway period

I know this is vallejo but I expect to be able to wash my hands before i eat with them and at very least If not wash id like access to some hand sanitizer.
At this subway they have NO bathroom for customers and when i asked her for some hand sanitizer she looked at me like I was an idiot…
So no place to wash your hands, go to the bathroom or even a simple bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter… lol is that even legal?
I will never return to this place ever again I prefer the subway by lucky’s they treat there customers alot better…

I’ll be generous, and give them one star! This place was filthy! The floors were dirty, and the cases were filled with dirty smudges. The gal that made our sandwiches tried to put (GREEN) black forest ham on my sandwich. I said «do you see what color that is?», her response was «uhhhhhh, yeah». I said «well don’t put that on my sandwich!». So, what did she do? …threw it back in the container to be served on someone else’s sandwich. Then, she tried to put tomatoes that were yellow, and not even close to being ripe onto my sandwich.
I think the health department needs to make an unscheduled visit to this Subway.
And, the manager needs to check his Subway & employees more closely!

Ugh, I cannot believe this Subway has a 4 star rating. When I was in high school this may have been one of the best, but it has since changed, drastically ! They are ALWAYS out of stuff… A LOT of stuff !! I live very close to this one and almost always have to drive to the Subway on Tuolumne, which I must say is amazing. Don’t go to Springs Road, go to the one by Lucky’s !!

Don’t judge me… but I’ve never met a sandwich I didn’t like. I take that back. there was a tuna sandwich once but let’s not dredge up bad memories…
Depending on the time of day, there is a little bit of a line but it always moves quickly and pleasantly. Good consistent sandwiches, pleasant employees, good clean and comfortable environment… next to a bakery… Eat fresh then compensate with a cupcake from Hummingbird =)

Love this subway. they all make sandwiches really quick and delicious!

I have to agree with Karla E this is the BEST Subway in town. I’ve been eating Subway forever and have been coming to this store more than half my life. It’s been owned by the same family from the start & they always remember me. I always stop by when I’m in town.
I love Subway’s veggie patty (though I’m not a vegetarian) and cookies. Now that they have snickerdoodle cookies you won’t be able to keep me away. Also the $ 5 footlong deals are unbeatable.

Out of all the Subways I’ve ever been to THIS IS THE BEST!
Every time I come in I’m always greeted warmly by the staff and Helen (the manager). They always know what I want because I always seem to get the same thing LOL although I try to switch it up. They always have great suggestions and are very patient!
They have a fairly good seating arrangement but it sometimes gets crowded with all the after school kids in the area.
The only downside is that their parking lot situation is awful! That lot is not big enough for all 4 businesses that are there. Other than that this place is great!

First of all let me say that you should have better customer service!
Don’t just bumrush the people as they walk in the store asking them what they want… did it ever cross your mind that maybe they don’t know what they want? Also don’t just stand there and stare at the customer while they read the menu to determine what they are going to order!
Now lets move on…
Why is it that when i say i want light lettuce they give me an Infant size handful of lettuce on a foot long sandwich? But when you get the normal amount of lettuce they give you a whole bag of lettuce?
I have to tell you in advance, i’m slightly allergic to tomatoes so I typically don’t eat them, plus they are gross in my opinon! But they are also good for my body, but at this subway, I have only been able to eat them once because they are always looking way too green or way too white or way too mushy!
Well now that I have got that all off my chest, lol, I only come here because my favorite starbucks is in the same little plaza, I do tend to avoid coming here though!!!

Bread needs to be fresher, maybe served within 24 hours of baking, not a bad idea.
I expected my veggie on whole-​wheat to have a little spring in the bread, not the cardboard feel that was served. I would love to «Eat Fresh» if given the chance.
