Meaney’s is the Wing King!!!
This is a popular neighborhood bar that has really good bar food, a nice atmosphere and a friendly crowd. Although it’s not a big place, you don’t feel crushed while having a drink, grabbing a bite, or watching local sports on one of several televisions.
Like present-​day Valley Stream, the clientele is multi-​cultural and everyone seems to get along really well. It’s a younger crowd, but not kiddy-​like.
As for the food, the highlight of this bar are the wings! They’re great! Forget the «wild wings» franchise stuff. Meaney’s wings are so much better with a variety of flavors. I suggest mixing your order. You won’t be disappointed.

Food is great, great prices, nice atmosphere. I’ve just started to frequent this bar and grill and I must say it has good customer service, and fair pricing. Nice TV’s as well to enjoy sports of all kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or driving through.

Came here for St. Pattys day for some wings and drinks. I walked in around 2 and was ready to try the famous wings. They had a nice free buffet with some delicious corn beef and cabbage and potatoes. Oh man I could have ate that all night long. I ordered honey bbq wings and they were ehhh just alright nothing special. My friend ordered a nice looking burger. That sucker was huge & filled with cheese mozzarella sticks onions and I forgot what else. I am so giving that a try next time. Prices were decent. They also had seating in the back with a a nice size TV.

Great burgers, my favorite is the Double B. Appetizers are always tasty and fulfilling. The bartenders are friendly.

Went in last night got knowing it was wing night until I ordered my burger… next time ! I should have known better because Charlie’s got THE CRISPIEST WINGS IN THIS SIDE OF TOWN.
My burger was awesome. For a fair price you can build your own burger. They also have chipotle mayo and waffle fries.
Beers on draft were well poured and he two waiters were super at tentative throughout my meal checking in.

Seriously been coming here for years but received the worst treatment today. Went to happy hour while Sue was working and she completely messed up my order. I asked initially what was the happy hour deal and she responded anything that’s made with cheaper liquor. I asked if that could apply to the rum punch and she stayed yes. Me and my friend proceeded to order under her advisement that the rum punch would be included in the happy hour deal that is listed on the site as «$ 3.50 for well drinks». When I asked to close out, Sue gave me an incorrect check that she had not corrected with the Happy Hour deal. When I was expecting a check of $ 30 max, the check was over $ 70! I asked her about it and she gave complete attitude telling me that the $ 10 rum punch was the happy hour deal and the site was wrong, although I had asked that in the beginning. She gave such an attitude and then went to other customers (presumably regulars) and called me a «fucking bitch» while she thought I was out of earshot. Although seeing her poor treatment of other customers, inattentiveness to people ordering (I had to asked for a menu twice because she forgot while placing lotto tickets), I really did not expect her to be the grinch she turned out to be. Enough said I will not be coming here again, and will advise my friends and family to do the same.

I’ve been to Charlie Meaney ’ s on a few occasions for a few beers and meetups. It’s the local Pub that dishes out a craft selection of wings and burgers.
This spot reminds me of Cheers where everybody knows your name. Plenty of regulars watching the sports games and being rowdy. The bartenders and staff are friendly and accomodating. There isn’t too much ambiance for a pub but this place gets the job done. There’s ample parking in the large lot and dining seating as well as bar stoolnseatingstool seating.
Monday Night is 25 Cent Wing night and my best advice is to get there before 10:00p.m. The kitchen closes early. The Honey BBQ wings and garlic parmesan are very good. The menu features a selection of burgers to choose from also.

Meaney’s has undergone multiple transmutations since its inception; some of them have proven positive and others, not so much. Right now, I’d say the establishment is in a relatively mediocre state. The food is noticeably tastier than it was in the past, and the portions are a nice size. However, Meaney’s was in its heyday, in my opinion, when you’d frequently see Scott at the bar and Carol by the tables. Now, some of the staff members seem overwhelmed when it’s nearly empty. The overall ambiance has taken a turn for the worst as the blasting music is reminiscent of a club scene, especially with the unusual choice of songs. I miss the days when Meaney’s was a local pub «where everybody [knew] your name.» If you lack a nostalgic connection to Meaney’s, then you may not even notice the declining ambiance.

This place is great! Nice vibes and the wings you can’t go wrong. It’s packed on Monday and Tuesday since the wings are 25 cents. New spot around my way for a date with my hubby or dinner with the family.

What a freaking dump! This place was filthy, the food was awful, and the service was terrible. My skin crawled the entire time I was there… Couldn’t wait to leave.

Small pub. Food is always good and you can’t go wrong with the wing specials. Boneless wings are great. Such a huge portion.

Great local spot to go to and get a nice burger, wings, beer and watch a game. Good vibe environment.

Great spot if you like old waitresses coughing all over your food and drinks. Also, the older blonde waitress (didn’t care to find out her name) had a serious attitude problem and was unfriendly. Everyone else seemed cool. I won’t go back though. I like frosty mugs of beer which they don’t offer.

Pretty chill spot with great service. I came here with some friends who are regulars and live nearby. The vibe on a Friday night was a bit low-​key but it was perfect because we could hear each other speak! Also, they get plus points for their music selection which ranged from early 90’s Sublime/​Nirvana to 70’s music like Creedence Clearwater. Nice job bartender.
For food we had nacho’s, fries and couple of beers and drinks. I also tried their beer flight which offered up some nice craft beers. Prices were reasonable and typical for bar food. I noticed they have specials for wings so I definitely want to come back and try them!
Service was great and I love it when bartenders speak to their customers. The bartender that night was friendly and took good care of us.

Rickety chairs, cold wings, colder beer and strong drinks. This place isn’t terrible, but it isn’t spectacular. Our server was nice and attentive, until it got super busy and we couldn’t find her to pay our bill (get her some help!). Nice, local place to watch the game and throw back a few. I’ll be back.

My cousin put me on to this place. It’s a small pub with a 25 cent Tuesday night (not 100% if it’s Tues or Wed) wing special. First time I came we sat at the tables close to the bar. We were served promptly. Food was good and cheap. The deal is you have to buy a drink to get the wing special. I had a beer, cousin had a soda. The next time we came with our other cousin to watch the USA world cup game vs. Germany… sad times. We ordered wings and drinks. We ordered fries after we started getting tipsy and then we even took shots with who might have been the manager. The service was terrible though. We were fully capable of walking out seeing as the waitress never once checked up on us or gave us our bill even though we were clearly finished. That’s the one reason I have yet to return, otherwise it was a good local spot.

My friend told me about this place and their deal on wings on Mondays and Tuesdays. We went around 2:30 and it wasn’t crowded which was great and the wings were even better. I had the jerk chicken flavor and she had the chili BBQ something which was even better so I know next time I’ll get that. The only sucky thing is that you can’t mix flavors and you can’t bring them home with you if you can’t eat them all. But overall it was cool

OK!!! So I love this place! My husband and I come here often and so does our friends & family as well.
Plenty of friendly locals and the staff here are awesome. Especially in the evening the bartenders are great. We are never disappointed and it’s always fun with my cousin Jib who knows everyone here, we all have a good time.
First — if u like spicy wings order that habanero hellfire. Best thing ever. Since I love spicy food for me it’s bearable and very flavorful.
All the burgers on the menu r awesome and appetizers r huge and full of flavor.
