Place smells like chicken feed, lady at counter has a nasty attitude, inventory all up in my face, shrimp roll (I was starving so I had to get something) was $ 175 for stale cabbage and one tiny fetal shrimp. Shrug.

Is it weird that I am obsessed with Valley Stream? The quality of food in that town is impressing. Chef B, Kaiseki, Li’s Wok, Burrito Monster, and many more. I hope Queens gets it together because, the way my gas is setup…
Li’s Wok has great Chinese take-​out. You can tell the food is fresh by the smell and the taste. I never had an issue with Li’s Wok and the customer service is great. My favorite picks are Shrimp with Garlic Sauce & Pork Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken & Brown Rice, and Dim Sum.
Weird Fact:
I love when restaurant tells me to wait for my food. Thats when I know there is some preparation going on. If I order at 3:00pm and they say my food is ready at 3:02pm, I don’t want it anymore.

However, I discovered Wah Sang and their food tastes WAYY BETTER.

the cashier lady was very very rude, on the menu it said over $ 8, free delivery, but when i called, she said no free delivery, because people in valley stream area never give tips… well, this is the first time i called, and i am planing to give good tips for sure. so i said never mind. i am going to order from Wah Sanj kitchen, it is close to where i live also. i am new to this area, so i will just give a try to another chinese restaurant. hope i will like it.**

Very good Chinese good!!! I come here every chance I get and im from Brooklyn. The rice is that real authentic way of making Chinese rice. that brown colored fresh egg rice. The ribs are so good and the wings are even better. Nice size chicken wings with a great taste fried just right. I don’t think I have had anything here that I didn’t like. They also have a loyalty program. every time you go, you get stamped and you can get up to 8.00 off a future order. The sauces are self serve so make sure you grab what you want. They are friendly and speak English well here. Overall I would love for them to be an eat in restaurant but I was shocked at how good their food was for such a small take out place. 5 stars all the way!

It’s easier going to the Chinese place just around the corner right? Maybe. But Li Wok has the solid Chinese food you’ve been craving on that busy week day. I drove the extra mile for my soft and yummy dumplins.
I was super impressed with the affordable prices. I only paid $ 21.83 for a small chicken egg drop soup, small chicken and broccoli, small beef w/​mixed veggies, and steamed dumplings! Two small white rices come with each dish which was plentiful.
My dad complains about the use of MSG in Chinese food often so it was a relief to eat Li Woks and not have wave of salt overwhelm my chicken and broccoli.
Oh and my cookies also had nice fortunes.

They keep getting better and better. The quality and portions can’t be beat. The delivery is quick, 20 minutes tops from call to the door.
I always order the Singapore Noodles w/​curry… it’s like curry angel hair with veggies, chicken and shrimp. The orange chicken is pretty good. It pays to get the reward card, it fills up fast.
Convenient, quick and delicious… sold.

Food is overpriced they wanted to charge me $ 11.50 for sesame chicken, no combo. Instead I order something cheaper, we paid upfront and when the food was ready the man couldn’t remember that we had already paid him. Then when I was eating I had something sharp in my mouth and spit it out, it turned out to be a staple in my food. Place is unsanitary, gross, rude, unprofessional and overpriced.

I love the food here! This place provides quality food at a good price. As stated in a previous review the quality if meat is good and above the usual from what one comes to expect from a local take out spot, chicken resembles chicken, beef IS beef, etc. All the food is prepared well and tasty. I have yet to order a dish where I was dissatisfied with
The staff is friendly, and I can see where the lady at the counter can come off as rude sometimes, but it’s quite the opposite. She remembers my ‘usual’ order just by seeing me, something most places don’t care to do all that much despite being a regular. And with yummy food to be gotten here, you should be a regular too!

It can be what it is, cheap Chinese food. However, the lady at the counter gives it that extra opmh. She’s genuinely friendly, asks about your life AND remembers the next time she sees you. I honestly think her presence and service makes their food tatse better.

Ladies if you come here for food make a quick stop next door at Simi’s Beauty Salon. You can get your hair done and a wicked eyebrow thread. Makeup is also available! Simi listens to what her clients like. Visit between 10am-​2pm if you can as you’ll be attended to immediately or make your appointment for your next visit.
They like Li’s, are very friendly.

I only eat chinese food from this particular store, otherwise I’m not usually a fan.
The quality of chicken and beef here is very good. Most chinese places have a rubbery texture to their meat, but not here. The sauces are flavorful, rice is good, etc.
The older lady there knows who I am just by my order. She tends to throw me free soda as well due to the amount of times we order from this place. I usually don’t need to give her my address either as she knows it by heart.
HIGHLY recommend.

I didn’t care much for the flavor of the Change-​do Chicken, but that could just be a matter of taste (I’m pretty sure this isn’t a standard). I was looking to try something new and the dish seemed to be a variation on General Tsao’s, only the breading was extra-​mushy. Also ordered Sesame Chicken, also featuring extra-​mushy breading.

I ordered the sesame chicken, steamed dumplings and egg rolls. It arrived in 30 minutes and the sesame chicken was disgusting. I cut some open and they didn’t look like chicken. They were all gelatinous and chewy. The egg rolls were too thick and with too little filling. The only thing that was delicious were the dumplings.
Very disappointed. Will not be returning
