Local Valley Stream dive bar. Nothing fancy but they usually attract a decent crowd. The one bartender that actually knew what she was doing got fired recently so they lost a star for that.
This is a good spot to go to if you’re in the area and don’t feel like going far and just want a drink or two after work. They give a buyback (free) drink for every three drinks so that’s a pretty sweet deal. They’re Long Island Iced Teas are pre-​made, the glasses are small and I’ve gotten my drink order wrong countless times, but my expectations weren’t high either.

Sonny O’s has become my local hang out spot. This bar attracts a hip crowd in their 20’s to early 30’s, and everyone is always having a good time. I went on a Wednesday and it was pretty quiet, but on the weekends, it can get packed. You control the music through the Juke Box, and they have a nice selection of music. They also have tv’s, arcade games and a pool table, if you feel like playing a game or two. If you are interested in having a chill tonight, lsitening to some good music, and meeting new people, I’d recommend Sonny O’s. I’ve met a lot of cool people at this bar, and always have a good time.
