Today 12⁄18 about 845 am. I get to my local Starbucks, I am a regular. I see a long line and I’m assuming some of these people are going to have a complex multi drink order. I’m just about ready to text my boss to let him Know I Will Be Late . Suprise the peeps in front of my actually know what there doing. All gave the Starbucks app. If you don’t have one get it Now. Then to my delight my regular order was waiting. Scan and got the f out . Back to work on time. Thanks A team.

Seriously, only use this as a last, last, last resort. Like the truck stop-gas station coffee machine in the bathroom is out of order, last resort. The drive-thru is poorly designed and once you’re in line, you’re their hostage and at their mercy. And they are so slow. Where you start to think maybe they’re closed slow, and you’re waiting in this dead line slow. Staff is not pleasant-newsflash: nonfat milk is skim milk. But if you try to order skim milk you get the disdainful«…you MEAN nonfat milk… right?» No thanks.

I have never been at a Starbucks where the Employees are so rude. The drive-through was blocked by a semi truck delivering to the next-door business. I alerted the staff at Starbucks to try and be helpful and the employee behind the counter about bit my head off told me there was nothing she could do about it and immediately copped an attitude. I was only trying to be helpful I wasn’t asking her to do anything about it however she acted is if I was asking her for her firstborn child. The Starbucks is also inconsistent with their beverages. Sometimes they’re tasty and sometimes they’re terrible. I’ll go to a nearby café and order my five dollar coffee before I go back to this starbucks ever again. I forgot to mention my order was wrong but didn’t want to prolong my misery so I didn’t turn around.

I visit(or my girlfriend, on my behalf visits) this location literally at least once per day. The staff is generally pleasant(especially when compared to the other Valparaiso location), but there are occasions when I feel that the service could be better. Particularly during times of high customer traffic and/or when lots of Frappuccinos need to be made, it seems like service is forgone for productivity, and it’s during these times that I feel brushed off by the staff. This location can get pretty busy, in their defense, but to me a constant continuation of great service would simply boil down to staffing, scheduling, workload prioritization, etc. so that every customer, no matter the time of day, can have a good experience. I do recommend this location, especially above the other Starbucks location in Valparaiso, but I’d also encourage you to try another local favorite of mine, the Blackbird Café, located in Downtown Valparaiso, if you feel that your experience is similar to what I’ve written above. It’d also be nice if Starbucks would open a third store in Valparaiso, but that’s neither here nor there.

Listen, I love coffee. In fact I go/went to this location every day before work-and sometimes after. Yesterday, in my must have delicious coffee fix I go to the drive through. I ordered(as always) a cappuccino with only a little bit of foam. The rude/always rude barista argues with me that I want a latte. If I wanted a latte, latte would have been ordered. I just wanted a little bit of foam and my damn cup full instead of half way. Regardless, you make and give(and I understand the public sucks) coffee. It’s coffee. Be nice. You don’t know me. You should recognize that you give me coffee everyday. Arguing? Arguing over something I WANT? I must not have understood that I was the customer. There’s no reason for this. You have lost my respect, I will continue to be rude to you(and only you) and order MY cappuccino the way I the customer want it. I’m upset about this. Everyone else there is seemingly nice. Virtually always.

This location has the new pastries and they all look so good! As usual, it is a very clean environment and the staff is extremely polite. My favorite feature of this location is the big, leather chairs in the corner with the ottomons!

My regular Starbucks. They have a good service here & the staff is quite friendly. They always get my order right. I would love to give them 5 stars, but the prices prevent me from doing so.

We’ve been here twice — on both our visits to see some friends in Valpo. There is plenty of seating, the staff is pretty quick, and of course, the drinks are what you’d expect.
