Publix Super Markets

There must be 25 Publix stores within a 30 mile radius of my place. This one is by far my favorite. I love the way everything is set up so conveniently, and I love all the interesting food items they sell.
Today I noticed so many items I’ve not noticed before. I went grocery shopping hungry, which is never a good thing. I was able to see ready-​made items that were available that I usually wouldn’t purchase. I’m usually at home in the kitchen, cooking up a new recipe I just had to try, or making an old standby. Anyway, I would rather cook than buy pre-​packaged stuff, but some of the foods I saw looked like winners to me. Next time I’m getting a Cuban sandwich and eating it in the car, crumbs and all. I wish they’d had a Bahn Mi. THAT, I would’ve gotten for sure!
The cashier was so super-​nice. I bought chicken breasts, and she asked me if I wanted another because it was «buy one, get one free»! I hadn’t noticed so that was really nice of her to have the bagger run back to get another one. He brought back even larger breasts than I had already chosen ;)
While he was gone, we were laughing about me pushing the wrong button on their very high-​tech checkout system. I had pushed the «Spanish language» key. Whoops! Since I’m rusty on the Spanish I learned in school, and couldn’t get the machine to cancel it and start all over, we were laughing about how I know very little written, but understand more «spoken». She said she was the same, as we tried to decipher what the machine was telling me to do next. It was pretty easy to figure out, and words came back to me haha!
As usual, a very nice young man asked if I needed help out, and of course I said yes. They are so nice at this store. I just love Publix!

The bakery section is where we
started and moved onto the
produce section where we picked
up butternut squash. Lots of stuff
we can do with this.
We also picked up some shrimp,
salmon, chicken and beef. Time
to stock up the freezer.
The blocks of basic cheeses are
in the dairy section. These are in
the cold section. They also have
shredded cheeses and sliced
cheeses ready to go in packages.
We spent a lot of time in the tea
section. They have a lot of
options and I was leading more
towards floral teas. They had a
black tea with floral undertones
which I think I would love.
Just from sticking to a budget
is what made all the difference
in food savings. They asked us
if we had coupons. Sometimes
you can find coupons already
in the store. Clipping coupons
is another great option as well.
Stocking up on freezer food is
the best thing you can do and
make things ahead of time and
have meals already prepared
that need to be thawed out and
warmed up in the oven.

Excellent service, clean, and friendly. The bakery/​deli is excellent.
Tip — ask for ½ buttercream ½ cream cheese icing mix on your custom cake orders. You won’t be disappointed.

Very nice and friendly place to come find your grocery such as dairy, meats of all kinds, frozen food, coffee, bakery and so much more for the customer even a Pharmacy on site as well. The attitude from the Publix employees are really nice I couldn’t find something a very nice young lady offered to help and she helped me find Fuji Water since i never been to this Publix before on this side of Valrico/​Lithia area.
Would I recommend this Publix to anyone? Yes, I would like I said above the staff here at Publix are really nice and friendly they will help you find what you are looking for.

I absolutely love their Cobb salads that they put out!

Although frequently busy when I visit, the staff here is typically pleasant and happy to help find items or answer questions. The fresh produce is good and has a large variety, and the butcher shop guys are willing to give suggestions and provide alternative weights & quantities for your grilling needs.

I just love Publix. They have the best BOGO and it’s always clean
