Great little place with hookah, beer and pizza. Got the «surprise me» a couple of times, where you say the ingredients you don’t like, and they make a random pizza. It’s always been good. One time they brought out just the dough to mess with me, too. Beer selection is awesome, a lot of beers that you can’t find unless you hit some super crafty places. I’m a sucker for the 10 barrel sinister ale they have on tap. They always let me sample the beers they have on tap too, which is great. Real casual atmosphere.

From the outside it doesn’t look like much but you go inside the clean, modern atmosphere over takes your senses. The staff is very friendly. The food is very fairly priced and delicious. I highly recommend this place! I’m glad places like those are opening in this area.

This is place is awesome! A hidden gem in the Van Nuys/​Panorama Area. Great selection of craft beers and wines and the food is amazing. The fried green beans are amazing and the quality of the pizza is top notch, and hard to find in the area. Super hospitable staff and the interior is modern styled and perfect for a quick get away with great food and drinks. Go there.

So The Chit Chat Café Lounge is Amazeballs!!! If you dont under that its Freaking Awesome! the first time i came i was with my friend and coming off a bad day. so i wasnt in the mood for bad anything else. But the Staff here turned that all around. They were so kind! Five stars just for service! They are only Beer and Wine but i LOVE WINE !
The food was great we had the pizza the fried green beans and Veggie pizza rolls. All deliciousness. the menu just has so many great pairing choices with their different beers and wines. Me and my friend are officially HOOKED! And plan to frequent The Chit Chat Café Lounge!

Whether it’s pizza, beer, or hookah this place has it all. So good and service is excellent! This will be a regular!

Random find during work lunch. The food is very delicious. Pizza and drinks. We talked to the owner, Andy, and he took time in his day to talk about his restaurant. Our server, Gemma, was excellent. Give her a raise. Haha. Both were friendly and warm.
They have a hookah lounge in the back.
Definitely will come back here again. So many options to try.

VERY IMPRESSED! Tried this place on a whim, was in the area with my girlfriend. Was weary at first to hear the place was no oil or sugar added but the pizza was delicious; light but very flavorful.

A diamond in the rough. A gem, hidden amongst a plethora usual suspects. The industrial modern architecture was accompanied by appropriate décor. Even the menus have a creative and unique presentation. Not to mention the beautiful patio that has a vibes of its own, warning fire pits, and hookah is served.
Nonetheless, the delicious food is still the best thing about Chit Chat. Their pizzas are made without oil, offering a less greasy alternative to the norm. The toppings offer a bevy of flavors, and they allow you to customize your pie to your liking. The thin crust delights are a portion large enough to leave left overs for a second round, and cost a fraction of the competitor’s price. Cork Fries are a welcome novelty, delicious crescent shaped wedges that are thick yet crispy. The drinks come in large sizes and they offer IPAs and wines. There is also daily desserts.
Couple all that greatness with kind and generous service, and you’ve got an experience that you’ll want relive time and time again.

And we thought service was good at the start.
We explained that we had a groupon. This is why we found the place. Our coupon was for 4 people $ 24 for $ 40 of food and drink. We had 3. But we ordered nearly $ 60 of food — because we had the coupon! Which the waitress well knew.
When we went to pay she denied us usage of the coupon. She held to her guns that we were missing the 4^th person. I asked why she let us order all the additional food and knew we had the coupon — to which she was very rude and defensive. I tried to reason w her that our continued business and positive Unilocal review would be worth more than the couple bucks of coupon ordeal.
Perhaps I’m justified. Perhaps some of you will object. I’m okay either way. But she had all the facts up front and if she was gonna hold us to it, she could have easily explained that to start. We would have been bummed but we would have ordered for the two of us (the kid slept through dinner anyway).
For her attitude and complete defensive customer service I subtract 2 stars.
For the decent pizza I give 2 stars.
For the glorified Burger King burger patty I also subtract a star.
From the vacancy on a Sunday night — I don’t think they can afford the loss of business. Too bad. We wanted to like them.

Love this place!
Went here on a whim. I don’t live in LA so I’m not really sure where the best places to eat are. I met my best friend here to eat pizza and play game of catch up and I definitely want to go back.
Long story long, if you are an adventurous eater, then order the «Surprise Me» pizza. The chef came out and asked my friend what he liked and didn’t like on his pizza. He then returned to the kitchen and a little while later appeared with a beef broccoli and Sriracha pizza.
It was amazing!!!
And the chef warned us that every Surprise Me pizza is unique and cannot be remade the same, so it feels like you’re eating a piece of art.
Also, the pizza tacos are awesome!

It’s a nice small place. The prices are ok, the customer service was great, we had cork fries as appetizer, it wasn’t a big portion, but it was tasty. I got a pizza with chicken, beef, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions, it was a decent size and very tasty. My fiancée ordered some kind of chicken pizza. It wasn’t as tasty as mine, so she ate mostly mine, and I ended up eating half of hers: P .Also a + point that the chef brought out the pizzas. We will def go back again.

This little spot is really good! I will definitely be coming back! It’s clean, quiet, and the customer service is awesome.
We ordered cork fries (very good!) and two pizzas. The pizza had angus beef on it and it was bomb– I’m going back to have it again. The pizzas are a good portion size too for one person, I was pretty full. Our pepsi’s were re-​filled for free. Their menu is a little small, but what is on there is delicious… Quality over quantity.
The waitress was kind and waited a long while for us to order and helped us to pick what we want.
When the chef came out to hand us the food he told us a little bit about it and you can tell that these people truly honestly care about the food quality and the taste of what they’re serving.
I’m definitely a fan and I hope this gem keeps getting more business because they deserve it.
Side note: bathroom was very clean too! I always look for that.

First time here came on my break from work the pizza is really good I would recommend all my friends to come here!

Just found a diamond in the rough! Delicious pizza and great beers in an unexpected location. Pizzas have no oil and no added sugar. Salads are fresh and customer service is great. We enjoyed our dinner and we’ll be back. Valentine’s Day dinner has free drinks so see you then !!

We were just driving by, headed to a chain restaurant, when I spotted Chit Chat’s sign & did a hard left turn into the parking lot to check it out! First impression: Hip, modern atmosphere — gorgeous wooden tables & industrial lighting. After looking over the menu & «chit chatting» with the owners, we decided to stay & experienced great food great service! I had the pizza dough burger (Angus beef) which was delicious. My husband got a veggie pizza & it also did not disappoint! We also tried the fries & fried green beans (both were just *lightly* fried in soybean oil), and at the end of our meal they brought us a sample of the Napoleon dessert which was a rich, flaky, chilled pastry bite drizzled with chocolate. Love the no added sugar policy! Free wi-​fi! Indoor/​outdoor seating. On Wednesday nights if you down a pint of Loser beer you get a free pizza! Will definitely be back.
