My family and I have been going to Dr. Iriarte for years. She has been the only Dr. my son has seen and she is great. Very accommodating and patient. Dr. Iriarte is kind and professional. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Her staff is very customer service oriented. They were to squeeze me in to see her during, what I believed, was an emergency, but ended up being nothing. Dr. Iriarte, «You’re the best!»

This place is a joke. They don’t have any equipment, they even use a ruler as a tool. The place is dirty, old. The «Dr» is mean, she has a real bad attitude. Don’t waste your time and money.

Worst place to get your eye exam!!! The visit was bad I was seen for my annual eye exam and left that office really unhappy! I feel like the exam was not enough I keept telling the Dr that i still would see blurry while being in the exam room and she keept gnoring me!.. like WTF!?? Im NOT being seen for free so i expect a good service!
Another thing that sucks is that they dont have a good selection of glasses!
NEVER EVER AM I GOING BACK!

I’ve been going to Dr. Iriarte for 7 years now. I completely disagree with the other review. Dr. Iriarte is very thorough and thanks to her my vision is great thanks to the corrective lenses she has prescribed. Her staff is great as well.

I went here to get an eye exam as she was within my provider network for VSP. Dr Iriarte is so rude and downright combative. I was scratching my head as to why she had such a negative attitude. Maybe because her office was empty with no customers. When I started to ask questions, she interrupted, «You’re not listening!» And when I tried to follow-​up with another question, she repeated even more rudely, «You’re not listening!» Offices with rude, seemingly incompetent practitioners, deserve to go out of business. I got up and left. No way will you earn my business! And that’s «for not listening!» So I got on the internet, and found Valley Optometric Associates at 7100 Van Nuys Blvd (which I reviewed with 5 stars). WOW! What a complete difference in competence and professionalism. That’s the silver lining to this review. I found a winner in Valley Optometric Associates.
