I used to like El Pollo Loco but not anymore. We went there last night for a quick meal. It was pretty crowded but most of those in line were ordering food to go. Oh yes, I almost forgot. THEYRANOUTOFWHITEMEATCHICKEN! So if you wanted any bird, you got dark meat only. I prefer dark meat over white meat but that wasn’t the problem. The problem? I got one small leg and half a thigh. Yes you read correctly, HALF A FNTHIGH! As for sides, I got the corn and cole slaw; the latter was the best thing I ate last night. My partner had the three piece meal because she couldn’t get white meat. She got 2 small legs and also half a thigh. Her sides were uncooked(!) broccoli AND a salad with the worst cilantro dressing! They got rid of the vinaigrette, caesar and 1000 island dressings. Oh yeah, months ago, they decided not to serve French fries either. The soft drink dispenser also wasn’t working properly. Our Diet Cokes were awful — obviously, the dispenser needed to be changed but was it? Nope. Fare thee well, El Pollo. We deserve better and so does everybody else. Since Koo Koo Roo vanished into thin air, we will stick with Boston Market. At least they’re generous, they’re clean and they’re reasonably priced!

My wife and I had a pleasant experience at this El Pollo branch. We were so pleased that we checked out their review on Unilocal to see right away how they are doing and how highly they are rated. Lo and behold, ratings are pretty dismal and customers almost all had a very bad experience. I do not know how other customer’s had their horrible experiences that they have to rate them very low but in my observation they made a turnaround. Everyone, and I mean each and everyone, were so courteous to all the customers who are coming in. From the time that you came in, dining in, and up to the time that you leave they are all checking on you if we’re doing good. It was just a breath of fresh air this branch is compared to other fast food restaurant that we have eaten before. Everyone loves a comeback. Kudos to the staff and management!

All the reviews say it all. Horrible customer service and very dirty restaurant. People arent even working behind the counter but when we asked for the salsa to be refilled they got an attitude. I would never eat inside there. Got my food to go and only went because it was the closest el pollo loco, but I wont be returning.

Went out to eat lunch at this location with 7 co-workers they messed up all of our orders and gave us stale food. When i called the customer service number and explained what happen they said the district manager will give me a call back 3 days later it never happened. I’ve never had such horrible customer service from any other place. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone!

Maybe it’s the location — crappy food, crappy presentation. Not worth $ 15/hr…just sayin’!

worst parking, not to mention how messy they serve your food like they’re blind folded while they’re making your order I got the double chicken bowl, it’s all rice and 1 slice of avocado, the 4 chicken pieces that were in the bowl were all nerve not even the actual meat so nasty!

Your average el pollo loco except 5x more busy. There’s usually a line. Expect to wait at least 10 minutes for your food. The staff are not the friendliest either.

First of all… WORSEPARKINGLOTEVER!!! This is NOT an understatement! I have a bitter-sweet relationship with this El Pollo Loco. They do a great job with their food… hot and fresh! In fact, the only reason I go is because they serve the food hot, fresh, and descent portions. Lissett is a cashier and she is always smiling at the customers… I really appreciate that. The store is modern looking, with a great interior décor. However, beware of the neighborhood!!! I have been to this specific location dozens of times; however, here are some of the things I have encountered. Long lines! I have counted up to 9 people in line per one cashier(see my attached photo). Ghetto neighborhood! There is ALWAYS some strange, weird, or crazy person that wonders in here or is sitting at a table talking to themselves. There is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS1 – 2 homeless/vagrants people hanging right outside the doors to this place begging for money! One time, my family was exiting the store and we were surrounded by 5 – 6 gang-member looking Hispanics who begged us for food. Of course, I am not going to turn someone away who wants food, but it was really, really, really intimidating and their breathe reeked with alcohol. Of course, this was at 8pm at night. So I highly recommend/employ you to stay far away from this El Pollo Loco at night. One of these days(I am prophesying on this one)…something bad is going to happen here; «if» the store owners/managers don’t clean up the outside of the store!

First time here and for fast food it wasn’t half bad. I was pretty impressed by the ‘Crunchy Chicken Taco’ that I had that turned out not to be crunchy chicken but a hard shelled taco. Silly me and my misunderstanding of the Spanish language. Would recommend.

This place is ghetto. Came here for lunch on a Tuesday around 2PM. Their service and chicken are up to par with other El Pollo Loco in the area. One of the smaller El Pollo Loco location I’ve been to and it shares parking with several other businesses on a corner plaza. Parking is always bad. At one time I had to circle the block 3X to look for parking. The tables are not wiped clean timely and one of the trash bin was overflowing and this was next to the salsa bar. I shouldn’t have to wipe my own table to eat in. Then one particular visit, some dude literally sat in front of me at my table while I was eating. Asked me If I knew Spanish(I shook my head), and proceeded to talk to me if I could give him some money and at the same time pointing at his plastic wrist strap which appears to be some kind of medical ID bracelet. Anyway, I just stared at him while I chowed down on my chicken and he got the hint. He stared into my eyes, stood up, and left. So ghetto…

Do not come here! Their customer service is horrible. I ordered six chicken legs with rice and the lady handling the meat start making fun with some other male cashier who was waiting for her with my order. She was saying wow not 5 but 6 chicken legs laughing and cracking jokes. As she puts 3 in he tells her 3 more and continues laughing to each other. I’m standing right there overhearing all of this and i asked«Is there a problem with me ordering six legs»? They said no and when the guy gives me the food he patronizes me asking me if I wanted six legs. I told him«you know that already since your over there making fun at my order which was rude and i’m never coming here again».

I come here because its the closest to my house. Service is not the best but I come here usually at night when the cashiers are done with their day, so I can’t blame them. I do have to say, they are always very clean.
