I’m surprised this place doesn’t have better reviews. Both times we went, we had amazing food and exceptional service. To point out that there no one eating there shouldn’t affect its rating… I mean a terrible local dive down the street makes food with pumped out cheese and usually forgets what you order, with a women’s bathroom that has a shower curtain instead of a door… so does that mean its better because it has a better local draw? Just because people don’t know about a place doesn’t mean the food is terrible. This area of Vancouver doesn’t have the greatest places to choose from anyway. In fact, the portions are just right, and they match the prices. We’ve had their nachos(excellent crispy homemade chips) and tacos and enchiladas. The atmosphere is colorful and inviting. I believe they have a restaurant side and a cantina side, depending on your mood or if you’re with kids. Great homemade salsa and chips… we’re definitely going to be back. Giant margaritas if you dare…

We ordered beef fajitas. The meat was so tough that it was inedible. Literally, had to put back into my napkin. Small small portions. The flour tortillas were so hard I broke a piece off to show the waitress

I came here with my adult daughter. It was our first visit. The chairs were reminiscent of the banquet chairs that you expect to see in a church basement. Service was fine. The prices seemed really high to me – a small house margarita was $ 8 – 9, and the Fajitadilla appetizer was $ 13, and had just the tiniest amount of meat on it. It sure didn’t feel like a good value for the money!

Already knew how horrible it would be with an empty parking lot and some crazy dude dancing outside on the corner complete with stereo typical Mexican costume and sign… Service wasn’t great at all… In the middle of my meal the server had to leave and go pick up her kids which she brought back with her… And the meal looked like slop on huge plates… They give you these huge plates so you expect to have a big portion when in reality the cook just plops a small serving of rice and beans on the plate and spreads it out to cover the plate making it look like a thin layer of gross mess… Don’t get me started on the tamales… They looked and tasted like frozen tamales I could have bought myself at winco… If you are going to serve someone something that looks like it was hungry man tv dinner then you need to serve it at that price of $ 3 a plate not $ 12 a plate and call it food!

We knew it was going to be bad based on the empty parking lot. I couldn’t ever imagine it would be as bad as it was. Like most traditional Mexican restaurants they started us out with chips and«salsa». When the salsa hit my mouth all I tasted was tomato. It was exactly like eating a tomato with a bunch of black pepper on it. The result of the taste in my mouth made me want to vomit. I ordered the enchiladas with beef. The taste was interesting. At first the taste made me want to vomit but then it almost turned good but then went to a bland card board taste. I never thought it possible that you could ruin refried beans but I guess you can. When we were exiting I really wanted to apologize to the people walking in.

authentic Mexican place here in Vancouver. They have happy hour food with different selections Monday — Friday in the 8 – 12 $ range. I’m happy I found this place. Their carne Asada nachos are mouth watering and their guacamole is freshly made.

Lunchtime on a Monday, a little after 12(Noon). Not a soul in the place other than us. We were greeted promptly, and the woman was very friendly. Food was hot, and plated very nicely. I have to agree with a few of the other reviews that the food was a little bland… not bad at all, just fairly plain. It was actually kind of nice to be able to have a semi-quiet lunch so I think we will go give it another shot sometime soon. (TIP: The Monday lunch special is a plate of Nachos… very good, and more than enough to be shared!).

The worst place. Very disappointed. I ordered the Happy Hour Six wings and what I got was THREE wings cut apart and place strategically across the plate. Why bother??? And $ 2.75 for a fountain soda? This doesn’t make me want to come back. Rather greasy dive as well.

Are you looking for Mexican food that tastes like cardboard? Are you looking to have your order screwed up twice? Are you looking to get overcharged for a restaurants mistake? Then this is the perfect place for you! I confess that I ate the incorrect order only because I was sooooo hungry at that point and didn’t care. I am giving them 2 stars because they kept the water cold— which they forgot to bring it to me on my initial food order.

Happy Hour Margaritas on special, but I think that they lack booze. I wondered if they waved a corked bottle of tequila over a 5 gallon bucket of margarita mix.

Nastiest Mexican I have EVER had!!! No alcohol at all in the $ 16 margarita!!! Food was the grossest!!! The chips are re dipped in grease to make them seem fresh. The chimichanga tasted like cinnamon because they make their churros in the same grease!!! Nastiest ish I have ever had! And for $ 60!!! Wtf? How can they stay open with NO customers… Like EVER!

My boyfriend and I were the only customers at dinner time on a Saturday night. The host and waitress were very friendly and attentive. The décor was very bright and festive with great hand carved and hand painted chairs. That is where the positives stop. My boyfriend ordered the special which was 2 beef enchiladas, I ordered the fish tacos and a small mango margarita and our bill was $ 40. This wouldn’t be an issue if the food was good, but it wasn’t. The fish tacos tasted strongly of «off» fish, the beef was watery and flavorless and although the margarita tasted good, it hardly had any alcohol in it. Overall not impressed. I can see why it was empty during dinner rush on Saturday.

I had really high hopes, as there’s a restaurant with the same name in my eastern Washington hometown that I’m quite fond of. Alas, this sorely missed my expectations. First, there were shoe marks on the table. Adult shoe marks. We were seated kind of under a tv and I assume someone stood on the table to reach it? But seriously, clean the darn table after you stand on it and before you sit people there. The menu was typical Mexican American fare at typical Mexican food prices($ 10-$ 13 for most entrees) which would be fine if it was any good. I had the faijta salad, which was mostly cabbage and a pretty bland, meek portion of meat, and my partner had mole enchiladas. Pretty sure I’ve had better mole out of a jar, and I like the taco salad from taco dal mar quite a bit better. The service was meh, and the restaurant was clean, if run down(and the aforementioned footprints were a little disturbing). I expect a lot more than that for a $ 30 lunch(and no booze). We won’t go back.

We have been coming here for almost 2 years. Our waitress has always been so sweet to our son(who is now 2). You feel like family here. Portions are huge and flavorful. It used to be out dated and depressing but the change in ownership has brought new life to 2 margaritas. Just went back for the second time this month. I highly recommend the Cadillac margarita.

Acceptable… The place looks old and dingy, the bar is lit up like a summer afternoon with a monster TV taking up the better part of a wall… I opted to eat in the dining room, which was more dimly lighted… There was a large TV but at least it didn’t overpower the room no matter how unnecessary. It took a very long time for someone to wait on me, a guy came to my table and said he would be right back, never came back… You would think some place named 2 margaritas would have… I know this sounds crazy… A margarita menu with the menu or on the table… Someone finally came by and took my drink order, I ordered a margarita, she said small or large and having no menu or context ordered a large and a wet everything burrito no sour cream, add guacamole… The burrito came quickly, before the drink no sour cream or guacamole, then the drink I am guessing 24oz really too big but hard too drink because it was not blended and chunks of ice kept clogging the straw. There was a birthday party going on in the back half of the restaurant, ok, expected a bit of noise but and electric guitar… Oy! Back to my meal, the burrito was pretty good in an average kind of way, by the time someone checked back on me and I mentioned there was no guacamole I was ¾ done and no longer wanted it… As for the large margarita, it was more than my burrito @12.25 and so weak I might as well as had a soda… So, acceptable, might or might not go back eatable food, drink rip off and poor service… Yeah, I might not go back.

Pretty sure Mr. Jorge of Jorge’s Margarita Factory et al purchased this place as there are now tvs everywhere with the volume on as well as piped music at the same time WHY does he do this to me.(oh, and I saw him there, so that was really the giveaway hahaha) Anyhow, perfectly good service, lots parking available in lot(though could use another light in the side parking lot) and lots of dishes to choose from. Chips are better here than at the margarita factory(unless they have been changed there since I’ve been, idk). Salsa was so-so. Entrée was a bit uninspired — had chile verde but it wasn’t as good as I’ve had at the factory or other places. Not sure why, couldn’t really put my finger on what was different. The beans had too much lard for my taste, but that happens a lot around here so not shocking. Rice was ok, Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing for this location. Price was too high for what I got, in my opinion(about $ 15 or $ 16 for entrée and soft drink before tip). Looks like they recently remodeled the bar so if you partake give it a shot.

Ate here tonight. The homemade tortillas and salsa was fantastic. Service was wonderful, we never had to wait for anything. Food was fresh and the serving sizes were huge. Price was comparable other sit down Mexican restaurant in the area.

I would say a middle of the line Mexican restaurant. The food was good. My seafood chimichanga had some crispness to it which was nice. The restaurant was empty in the middle of the afternoon and there were children running around and toys about. Ok place to grab lunch.

Two Margaritas is still open, and serving up some great grub. Its not taco bell or Chevy’s so if that is your basis for comparison open your mind to non boil in the bag food. They have good quality and amazing service(they treat us like family) give it a shot, if you dont agree, that is up to you. All I can say is this is the best mexican food located in Vancouver, just my opinion.
