ABC Buffet — CLOSED! We approached the restaurant from the parking lot and things looked normal. The tattered banners advertising a senior discount and daily prices still hung from the façade. There was no sign on the door, but locked it was and an employee at the grocery store next door confirmed it has closed. Kind of a shame because I have been there on good days when the food was hot and fresh with lots of variety and selection. It can’t be easy to run such a large enterprise and despite troubles they may have had I wish them well in their new endeavors.

Decided to give this place a shot with the family. Worst decision ever. Food was absolutely disgusting. No one could even finish a single plate. Never going back.

This place was garbage. The restaurant itself is falling apart, and the food selection was minimal at best. They even had those little 98 cent totino’s pizzas! The«Chinese» food they had was salty, soggy and cold. We still payed 12 bucks a person too. This place is an insult to Chinese buffets and should be burnt to the ground.

Doesn’t even come close to the buffets in PDX but is the same price.

My hubby and I went there today for lunch and it was so so. Chicken was rubbery. Just kept chewing and chewing and chewing, well you get the idea. I have been going here off and on for years and they have steadily gotten worse. Very sad they dont seem to care about the quality of their food anymore. Not to mention the food wasnt even hot! I really hope I dont get sick. Food sitting out should be HOT not COLD! The seriously need to invest in a De-humidifier!!! Humidity in there is ridiculous. I dont think we will go back, they have had many chances to improve and have failed. Gals working are nice!

Went here last night after working out at 24 Hour Fitness. Was super hungry and the buffet hit the spot. The atmosphere was decent, quiet, and well-lit and clean-appearing. The buffet had several long tables with a wide variety– including Japanese and Korean dishes. Some of it was excellent, some was so-so, but there was enough variety for most tastes. The price was reasonable.

Had a late lunch at the ABC buffet in Vancouver recently. Actually, it was a very late lunch — about 2:00 in the afternoon. Nonetheless, the buffet selections were in good shape and still being replenished as needed. The service was attentive. I had a question about how one of the items was prepared. The server couldn’t help me, so he summoned the cook who came to our table and explained how it was done. That’s a FIRST! I like that, I get to talk to the cook. The atmosphere is a bit odd. It is an Oriental restaurant built inside what appears to be a former convenience store. It seems like the conversion is not quite complete. Or they’re living it as is, for old time sake! How I knew this was from a convenience store? It’s got the ceiling hanging sections where to go for Wine/Beer, Pets/Cleaning Supplies, etc.

I really love their Oriental cuisine they do have a bit of american food but most of it you know came from a box but their Chinese/Japanese food is soo great me and my fiancé eat here almost twice a month if we can. ^_^ would definitely be going back. A few things can be a bit on the iffy side but all in all its great food and good people with a quiet atmosphere.

Obviously this is a Chinese buffet, but as far as buffets go, this is a good one. It is a bit high priced for a buffet in my opinion at $ 12 a person, but they have five buffet bars filled with lots of choices that even include sushi, oysters, onion rings, french fries, and fruit. There were a few things I found that were not as tasty as I wanted them to be or didn’t seem quite right, but if you’re trying to do a little bit of everything I think that has the potential to causes issues. Everything else I had was lovely and the staff was friendly. This place is nothing to write home about, but it is probably the best in Vancouver based on selection.

To me I honestly think that this is the best place for chinese buffet in Vancouver, all the other places are just nasty like Taste of Asia is just YUCKS! I really like their noodles and peanut chicken. They also have a good variety of fruits and veggies and more kid friendly food! They do however need to work on customer service!

I came here with my husband, his dad and step mom for an early birthday lunch for my father in law the food is good, I have been eating at Abc buffet for a while since they first opened, but when I moved to Portland I don’t eat there as often, so when we came to abc I was looking forward to it. The food was good, I love the chicken wings those are my favorite, but the fish I had I think it was rockfish or snapper but after two bites it tasted really fishy, I have been fishing since I was 3 I know the fishy smell, but now I know the fishy taste it was a smaller fish so it may be normal I am not sure, but everything else was very tasty and I do recommend this place they have salmon that I didn’t have but my father in law and mother in law has it and it looked like they enjoyed it. My recommendation try a tiny bit of everything, everyone is different but you won’t know you won’t like it unless you try it go out of your comfort zone, experiance life and the food it offers :-)
