A huge advertisement about WiFi is on entrance window but when you look for a charging outlet there’s none. Shop n go here. They have cute advertisements.

If your looking for a particular book chances are they probably have it. I feel like their prices are a little too high.

I am reading some harsh reviews about this place. Mostly based on Starbucks and a lack of power outlets. Bummer. I’m willing to defend B&N because if it goes away, what’s left around here? Well, I’ii tell ya; Vintage Books Some niche stores Jump the river and give Oregon your money Feel free to knock off stars because Starbucks won’t accept your Gold Card. Complain away because a place that was built in the ‘90s(that dark and horrid time before cell phones) and is struggling to survive does not have rows of outlets for your phone. Why don’t you put down your mocha and phone and buy a book or something? Stop comparing it to Powell’s, okay? That’s unfair. It’s like comparing your 1900 square foot corner grocer to New Season’s. Do you want to have to slog all the way to Powell’s EVERY time you want a book? Shaddup already.

This is a slightly below average Barnes and Noble. I don’t have any real complaints and I shop here frequently. I’ve just been in better locations that seem to have more books and are more vibrant.

I’ve been here many times but never wrote a review because none of the experiences were good or bad, just a run of the mill underwhelming retail experience. I shopped here realizing that although B&N is a national chain it operates in my community and employs my neighbors. Tonight I had a very poor experience and the store manager was so beyond indifference that it was outright rudeness. And so, sadly, my casual acquaintance with B&N has abruptly ended tonight. When a business fails to meet even the lowest of expectations it is time to patronize other businesses. I now think I must have been crazy to ever set foot in here in the first place with the great Powell’s just over in Portland where I am several days a week anyway and also considering Amazon is always at my fingertips and I don’t have to encounter rude employees also now seems like another better choice. It’s probably good to get used to those alternatives now since the store was virtually empty on my last few visits, tonight being in the thick of the Christmas shopping rush, I don’t think that this store will be here much longer anyway.

It’s no Powell’s. If I am going to buy a book it will usually be used, and that is not an option here. There is only one outlet to plug your phone in, and it is in the back corner, where the wifi is spotty. The Starbucks doesn’t except my gold card so I can’t get rewards, or free refills. And there are not many comfortable chairs.

This Barnes & Noble is not my favorite. It feels desolate when I go in there and the employees at Starbucks are always rude. Actually, I’ve not had one nice employee yet. I will continue coming back here for the simple fact that it is in my work parking lot and within walking distance.

Love this place! Always a good find in the bargain area. If you purchase their membership you save an additional 10−20% on everything and definitely with it!

I enjoy going to bookstores and cruising the shelves then getting a cup of joe afterward. It’s something easy to do if you just want to get out of the house. Every time I come here, however, I’m reminded of just how much I miss Borders. Borders was bigger and much better organized. I thought it was easier to navigate and find what you need… or find something new. For instance, you could almost always find all the books in a series that you were reading. At B&N, you might find the first 2 books then a few random others and maybe the last book. Sucks big time! Also, some sections like the«beauty» area is only one small shelve. Disappointing! This is the last of the big name bookstores in the area holding on for dear life. I hope they make it but still wish it was a Borders instead.

A decent selection of materials. I generally only buy journals, calendars and math workbooks for my daughter here. AKA anything that I need to write in or on. Most of my other books I get from Amazon or the library. I hope they stay afloat because the Jantzen Beach store closed last year and it is the only nearby bookstore that has what I need in a hurry.

I’m just glad there is at least one major book store in this town. As i’m not a fan of the public library and there is no other game in town… this is it. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. There is a deal to save money on all purchase’s if you buy their member card.

Well… it’s not the same as the love affair that I had with Borders(apparently I didn’t put enough money into the relationship), but it will have to do. It’ll take some getting used to, but it’s growing on me. Helpful staff and easy to navigate store, this place deserves five stars for making a solid effort at earning my book-loving heart.

Generic barnes and noble, clean, lots of seating and always a foot stool around if you need it. Stopped in here on vacation to pick up a gift for a friend. Just like any other barnes and noble. Friendly staff, when you see them.
