My friend and I decided to order enough food to feed a small south American village. Each order was enough to take care of half the tribe. It has to be the most amazing Chinese food we’ve ever had. Coming from a 38-year-old military veteran that has traveled around the world, go to this restaurant now! Get their food in your belly.

Food tasted good. This is the second time i try it. The only difference is that this time wasnt a take out. Well the lady gave us water only twice and thats because i asked for a second glass. The food took FOREVER!!! And when we got appetazers they were not hot. I dont know if thats how chicken crew gave them to her… Or they were seating there for so long and she just forgot about it.(–_-) same with the rest of the food. I mean, i would of understand if she was buzy, but there was only 1 more table and 2 or 3 take outs. Plus another person helping her. So, i dont understand what happened! Anyway, food was good. Customer service not too good! =\

One of the better establishments in SE Vancouver. The lunch specials are a great deal.

This is the best Chinese food in Vancouver. The owner is a person of exceptional character who treats his customers like family. Everything on the menu is perfection. I often start with hot soup and graduate you to an entrée and a side dish. Bring the entire family and enjoy this classic Chinese eatery. Also a great spot for business lunches.

Happy Hour we had a total meal super cheap! 99 cents and $ 1.99 for all the usual favorites. shrimp, pork fried rice, general tsou chicken, pot stickers, noodles, orange chicken, tasty and they have new equipment for staff. State of the art gear that allows them to take payments and print receipts right at the table. Kudos to the owners for staying up to date. Great customer service, great prices and good quality food. Tucked in a strip mall near a craft store, gaming store, and a toy store to name a few super location.

Husband and went here for lunch. I figured it would be really good because of all the positive reviews. It was ok. I didnt think the food tasted very fresh. Bland flavor also. All in all was rather disappointing.

Great service, friendly fast service. Very good food. Would come again for sure. The server was even concerned for my well being and got me an ice pack for my headache when she noticed I was in pain. Love the music

The food was pretty good and tasty. I got the combination plate with Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and fried shrimp. It was a pretty decent portion as well. The service was very good.

Mar’s Inn Vancouver offers large portions for a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The quality of food is good — from the chicken to the fried rice– you can not go wrong with this great local chinese restaurant. Great for take out.

Very impressed with the food. I had beef and mushroom delight. The flavor was amazing. I will definitely bring the family in. They also where on top of service. Water glass never went empty. Which many people can’t keep up with.

My husband and I had lunch today here. I had the a Sichuan Chicken special and my husband had the Wonton Soup. Both were excellent. I particularly liked the fact that for 75 cents, you could upgrade to all white meat chicken. The restaurant looked nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff extremely friendly and wonderful :). The orange chicken had a great sauce. I love that you can upgrade to white meat(my husband is quite picky and this is perfect for him). The several noodle dishes I tried were all crave-worthy. Once we became vegetarian we both enjoyed the veggies in our stir fries-they seemed fresh and not previously frozen. Both the potstickers, crab puffs, and and veggie eggrolls are yummy! Portion sizes are large. The music is calming(beautiful Asian sounds, unlike a lot of places that just have pop). It’s never been crowded when I have gone in the early evenings, which makes for a relaxed environment.

My fiancé and I LOVE this place. I grew up in Pullman with great Chinese restaurants and have not been able to find a place that’s up to par with what I had grown up on until we tried Mars Inn. Their food is delicious, fresh, and serving sizes are awesome. They probably have some of the friendliest and most attentive service we have had anywhere in the portland metro area and they are fast to boot.

This place is a tie with another Chinese restaurant for best Chinese food in Vancouver. I’ve ate here a couple times. Always have gotten awesome customer service. Staff is always so friendly. Food has always been so, so good! Great portions, enough to take home for lunch & dinner the next day!

Average tasting food, but excellent service! There’s really nothing special or great about the food. I would give the food 3 stars. But the service gets 5 stars. On a scale of 1 – 10 the service is 10+ There were however 2 standouts about their food: The chow mein is made with pan fried noodles(lo mein) instead of the typical bean sprout chow mein. This is a great thing in my opinion. Second, the fried shrimp actually had decent sized shrimp inside, not tiny little miniature shrimp and all tempura batter like most places. I wouldn’t drive far out of my way to eat here, but I would eat here again if I was in the neighborhood. Mostly because of the great service from everyone who works there!

It’s not easy finding great Chinese food that isn’t overly Americanized or sketchy when you walk in. Mars Inn was fabulous! It had been awhile since I have gotten good Chinese food and this place went above and beyond my expectation. I’m from Seattle and I came by here because a friend recommended me to stop by when I was visiting. They knew I love eggplant and they said that they make excellent eggplant dishes here. We started off with some fried appetizers, the Salt and Pepper Tofu and Calamari was amazing! Not too greasy and not overly battered, the perfect amount of crunch to it. Their eggplant with seafood was definitely as great as my friend had recommended! I could eat plates and plates of it, if you don’t care for soft textured stuff then this dish is definitely not something you would be interested in. I love eggplant cooked till it’s soft and soaks up the sauce and they did wonders with this dish, I definitely left with a happy tummy. Another dish I was blown away by was the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Not many places can make this dish right, it’s either too much sauce or way too much batter with barely any shrimp. Not only was this dish a great size for the price but they used the big shrimp and had the perfect amount of sauce and walnuts! I love this dish but definitely not many Chinese restaurants can pull it off, it’s always either too much walnuts over the shrimps or barely any of each. The service was also excellent! We walked in and everyone greeted us, we felt very welcomed. Edward was an excellent waiter, he was super nice and friendly and definitely had many fabulous suggestions for us to try(he was so wonderful I made sure I remembered his name for this review!). The building is a little old but other than that everything we had was delicious, great portions and well presented, which makes up for interior décor.

It’s hard to find good Chinese food in town where they’re actually willing to try and figure out what you want. My boyfriend and I came here not knowing the name of what we wanted, and the server Daisy was more than happy to show us photos and figure it out. Not only was the service fantastic, but the food was more than I expected… delicious AND big portioned!
