the only con i have is that the(i think) manager, is indian, and doesnt know how to speak english very well. its hard to understand him inside, and almost IMPOSSIBLE in the drive thru! as long as u have an american talking to u, it will be perfect!

I’ve heard the owner berating his staff on each visit I’ve made, want a 3rd honey for your 2 biscuits, not around these parts, but it’s the only Popeyes in Vancouver, so you deal with it

Chicken was great! Drove thru — they forgot to give me napkins and silverware. I had to wait till I got home to eat. Bummer, I wanted to stop somewhere relaxing and eat. So much for that idea.

Okay, I’ve meandered back in here a few times now. Here’s the deal; you need to be pretty clear about what you do NOT want if you decide to subsitute. Not getting my red beans and rice tends to harsh my mellow in a big hurry. I love their bisquits. What the hell;3.5, I guess.

While I like the chicken, my 3 piece meal with white meat had two wings. I added green beans as a side, but the bill was over 12 bucks. I’ll be getting pizza or Del Taco next time.

Chicken. Fried Chicken. Popeyes Fried Chicken. Cheap Fried Chicken. That isn’t really that cheap. $ 15 meal for 8 pieces, a side, & biscuits. We got the meal deal with spicy chicken that wasn’t spicy. Drive through with 10-minute wait for the chicken to be heated. Onion Rings were sad O-rings. Only the biscuits will bring me back. They weren’t special biscuits. They were biscuits. I like biscuits. I like fried chicken, too. Just not Popeyes Fried Chicken

Great Chicken Meals for the Specials. Always Fresh, Tasty Meals and Fast Service! Good Prices! Note: The Management at this Popeyes really tries hard to please the customer. I was given a Free Drink for my wait and that showed me they care!

Popeyes is where you should get fast food chicken if your going to get chicken, but this Popeyes is slow, inconsistent and they NEVER get my order right. I still come here because Popeyes is delicious and this location happens to be closest to my house. I always park and go inside so I can make sure I get my order right.

One of the best one’s I’ve been to. The Sweet Tea was really great and the server was super nice. The Chicken Tenders and Nuggets are my fav as I’m driving down the road so much better than McDonalds or Burger King, etc… it’s real chicken One thing I do hate that all Popeyes do, it’s fast food, yet to fake out their time limit to serve you, they have you pull around and wait, then bring it out to your car. This is happened most every visit I’ve been to any of them across the country. Wish there was more of them up here in Seattle

This place, although good food. has horrible service. The few times I’ve been to this location, not once has my order been correct. Like ya, I get it if you mess up once, but consistently AND after reading other comments, realize maybe they need to fire the entire staff and hire people who actually listen. Id drive all the way to Oregon just to have it, at least there they’d get the order right.

Wow do I love Popeyes way more than KFC. My friends and I stopped here for a quick lunch and the food was delicious. It’s a rare occasion for some people in the Couve to stop by Popeyes, but if you live in the area or are willing to take a drive. You won’t be disappointed! My only complaint would have to be the employees, they’re as loud as a high school hallway. But what do you expect? It’s fast food.

The chicken is fine but the sitting areas need a bit of work.

As once was heard in an Adam Sandler movie: Popeye’s is the shiznit. It’s true. If you like chicken, you’ll like this place. Even the«naked» chicken is good. The people seem nice and the place is clean. The parking lot could be better, but it’s really HWY99’s fault more than anything. Fair warning, I think they use Peanut Oil here… so if you have a peanut allergy, might want to just stay away. Too bad. I’m sure it’s what makes the chicken and breading so much better than that other fast chicken place with a red logo.

Love that chicken from Popeyes!!! It seems that if you go through the drive through, you only get what’s posted on the menu, which may not have their extensive menu. I end up compromising and getting whatever I see, which could be too much or not enough and still costly. I solved that problem by just walking in there. I never have to wait more than ten minutes. It’s an after work dinner night here at least every other week. The entire family loves it.

Sure it’s fast food, but it’s DAMN good fast food! FAR superior to that other fast food chicken chain!!!

I got my love of fried chicken from my Father, that man had a thing for fried chicken that bordered on the obsessive. When we traveled, if we were anywhere near the South the man lived off fried chicken. Must be in the genes because I am not too far off the mark. My one tactical error in loving fried fowl is that I live in the Pacific Northwest, not exactly a bastion of southern fried delights. Now don’t get me wrong, there is good chicken in the Portland/Vancouver metroplex and I love it all, but to find a crispy, flavorful chicken like this from a chain is pretty amazing. There are some downsides to Popeyes that I really have to glaze over, like the prices, which are a little high(but not insane). There are not that many around so it’s a trek to get to one unless one happens to be on my way. Oh but the pros outweigh all that. Whether mild or spicy the chicken is amazing in flavor and juiciness, the size of the pieces are large and the sides are really great. I love the red bean and rice the most I think. The biscuit is ok, a little soft for me but it is completely edible. Overall I always walk out of here with a big smile on my face, but when they do the crawfish baskets in season the smile gets a little wider.

Strip Nakeds! Hold on. Strike that, reverse it… on we go! I’ll admit it freely. I’m a spice wussy. Most of Popeye’s stuff is too spicy for me. Including the gravy for their mashed potatoes. So what do I eat there? Naked strips! The stop right at that line of too spicy for me. Yum. They’re biscuits are excellent, mac n cheese is OK. Pretty much everything on the menu(too spicy for me or not) kicks the other chicken place’s tail feathers. Service has always been friendly and the restaurant has always been clean, the times we’ve visited.

I dunno, maybe it should get 4 stars… I’m just not a fan of eating chicken off a bone. We stopped here tonight to try Popeyes out. We were ordering to go, but went inside as it was our first trip and we didn’t want to be pressed by the drive through. It’s probably a little expensive for what you get, but much less so than the one time we went to Church’s in Orchards… good grief, they had loan officers on site! We got a dinner meal order with half original and half spicy chicken, red beans and rice, and biscuits. Wife thought the spicy chicken was the way to go in the future… red beans and rice was pretty good, and I think I was expecting a little more out of the biscuit. The chicken meat was moist and tasty though. Next visit, I will get the tenders. Pretty small inside. Their permit says max occupancy is 49.

A bit overpriced, but they do have rotating specials. The chicken is tender, juicy, and delicious! I don’t even have words to describe the fatty amazingness that is their side dishes. And the biscuits? O.M.G. It’s love! If you’re craving way too many calories and carb-loading, this is the place to do it.
