Sephora Inside JC Penny’s

I’ve been coming to this Sephora since the JC Penny first opened like 5 years ago (or so). Yes, it’s not a free-​standing location so they don’t have a lot of the products available at Sephora, but they carry the essentials and are right there for me when I run out of something or want to test new items out. They have NARS, Urban Decay, Stila, Bare Escentuals, Smashbox, Make Up For Ever, and more, as well as a full fragrance sections and almost all of the skin care lines! Worth checking out.
Before buying full-​size products, I recommend asking for samples because you don’t want to return used product back to them if it didn’t work out. This process is a MUST for me when trying out new foundations because I can never get the right color match and the indoor lighting always throws off the actual color.
Sometimes, when I have time, I just walk in and play around with the make up and try new looks, just for the heck of it! I probably have better things to be doing but I have way too much fun and spend way too much money here! Once, back in college, my friends and I came here to give «extreme» makeover looks to each other and I think we were here for 2 hours. But I digress…
The best part is all the staff associates are extremely friendly, eager to help, knowledgeable about the products, and have a fun attitude! Had a huge Sephora haul yesterday… my heart is happy but my wallet is not! Just make sure you’re a Beauty Insider (rewards program) so you get free gifts and points for all your spending! :P
