We came here after spending some time at the nearby indoor shooting range. It was myself, my 20 year old daughter and my 13 year old daughter. Service was fast and friendly. They dont have the same menu as the location we have been to in Oregon near where we have soccer tournaments, so it was disappointing to think I was going to have one thing, just to have to order something else instead. Food was fine(typical drive-in/drive-thru), and price seems fair enough for what you get.

Their new menu board are amazing! I’m so glad they went digital so now I can see what they put so I can make corrections. The I food is good as always the masterblasts are just phenomenal! The downside is I really wish their staff wasn’t a bunch of brainless kids. Two stars off this review is purely for the staff and the service that they offer. How hard is it to understand that dry burger means no sauce but leave the veggies. We order our burgers dry because they put so much sauce on them but we end up getting a plain burger with just bun meat and cheese. The last time we went the girl couldn’t get through her sentence without saying«like» every other word!

Another retro classic! Sonic drive in just like Grandpa remembers… And me when I was really, really little ;) This one has a modern drive through as well as the classic drive in. No roller skating carhops, but that’s OK. Sonic does have a good variety to the menu that you don’t see at most fast food places save for Dairy Queen. Good for something a little different once in a while.

I got a text message about $.79 Jr. Deluxe cheeseburgers so I decided to go to Soncic. I ordered 2 with a birthday cake shake and a small fry. When I got the receipt I drove off with my food. After I went to look at the recipt I saw they charged me 3.38 for both burgers. I’m not gonna do anything because I don’t feel like making a fuss over 2 bucks but really? They lucky this milkshake is flame or I’d be on one

They have changed their fries to natural cut fries and they are not good. Sad because they were better before they switched. Tots and onion rings are good. Of course chili dogs are good too. The people working there are always friendly! We are loyal.

Went to try them since I had never been before and got home with my order and the onion rings were almost black! I could not eat them at all! I was shocked. I have never had completely over cooked rings before. I called the place and let them know and I talked to the owner/mgr the next day and he sent me vouchers to come back again. I think their food is terrible after that. Plus I drove waaaay out of my way to go there… not close to me at all as they are few and far between.

I’ve been to Sonics a handful of times and it’s usually just for their drinks. This time, I was craving something I had in Hawaii, a slush float from Rainbow Drive-in! The closes thing that I’ve found(beside going to 7 – 11, getting an Icee and then going to McDonald’s to get some soft served ice cream) is Sonic’s CreamSlush. It’s their fruit slush with ice cream and it’s pretty darn tasty.

I hadn’t been to Sonic in years, and in the midst of moving I pulled in for a quick bite. I was really let down. The hamburger tasted like something from my junior high cafeteria days(dry patty, more bread than anything else), and the fries were cold and too salty. Yikes, I guess my drive-in days are over.

Good food, great drinks, but the fact that their happy hour time is so limited I never get a chance to enjoy it. That’s the time 300 people are driving schoolbus buses! Four stars because of that.

Ordered a bacon cheese burger on today with tots for me and a chicken strip meal with fries for my ten year old daughter. The for arrived and the first thing my daughter asked was if the fries were the medium they were very small and only half filled the container, I asked about this and they said it was the medium but they would switch them, they bright out a new container of fries which were still very small but she ate them anyway after salting them. She also mentioned the pieces of chicken were small as well(this was not a kids meal) I tipped my supposedly medium tots on to a napkin to eat them and was amazed that a medium is ten tots. I decided not too bother trying to get some more as they do not seen to change anything size wise even after complaining. I bit into the first tot and was sorely disappointed, soft on the outside even though they looked crisp and like tasteless mash on the inside. I moved onto the burger which was under seasoned, squishy and only slightly warm, by the time I got to the end of the burger it was cold. Very disappointed and we will not be returning, with so many good burger place in the area there is no reason to put up with this tasteless sludge.

I gave them one more chance. From the leftover tomatoes, to the wrong orders(no cheese on the coney) guess what, icky american cheese, to the ice cold tots and soggy fries. I’m done.

Friends got us hooked on Sonic when we visited Saint Louis. When we moved to Vancouver I was excited to go! Eh. Hit or miss. Surely not worth traversing town for, unlike the one in Saint Louis. Best part of Sonic is the drink options/varieties. We love the onion rings, but our neighbors HATE them, so they’re obviously not for everyone. We enjoy the tater tots, something you don’t find at many restaurants.

The staff is mostly young and polite. Shakes are great and happy hour is a big bonus since I live nearby. The outside seating area is incredibly dirty. An employee came outside and wiped down a few tables. A good scrub down could help a lot. Ill stick to ordering from my car.

I like sonic. They generally try to keep their offerings interesting, unusual and away from the norm. I usually come here for hot dogs since there aren’t many places that sell them. Not a big fan of the burgers. There are just so many better places for a burger(like Five Guys, 20 steps away). I really like the drive-in thing… It’s an interesting bit of kitsch that you just don’t get elsewhere and makes ordering really relaxing(you aren’t in a rush to pick what you want because you press the button to order when you’re ready — and people aren’t behind you, waiting in line).

I am updating this to 3 stars because the slushies are worth 3 stars in the summer.

I am a fan of Sonic. Just not this one. I haven’t been there in several years, and tonight I was reminded why. The service was fine. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about either. The food left something to be desired for. The mozzarella sticks were rubbery and the popcorn chicken tasted like it had been sitting under a warming lamp for quite some time. Oh well, maybe I’ll give these guys another chance in another 4 years.

Love their food, however, their SonicBlast can improve. Dairy Queen is still the champ.

First time to Sonics ever! It was a great experience to be able to park your car and take the time to order from the vast array of fast food menu items. In the process you its mostly in car dining. You order the menu items through the speaker and can also pay with the credit card from the order box. Then they bring out the food directly to you! Never have to leave the car! How cool is that??? My food was def a little salty but it was worth the experience after seeing all of the commercials on TV!!!

I specifically asked for no cheese on a bacon cheeseburger, and I still got cheese. It’s even stated on the receipt. Since I was doing deck-work and had to handle chemicals, I went to the lavatory to sanitize my hands. They were low on soap, and the dryer wasn’t working. No paper towels, so you have to touch the door handle(fortunately, I kept the door open with my foot).

I hate being wrong. It makes me physically ill to be wrong and have to admit it. I was wrong. Ouch. In a previous review I lamented the demise of our local A&W and may have said something to the effect of there was a stinking Sonic thriving nearby. Ouch. My wonderful, lovely and oft times right Wife wanted to go to Sonic. Me, being a dutiful husband and Father said that we could try it. After all, maybe it was wrong of me to condemn Sonic without Unilocaling one. Ouch. After all I have not tried one for maybe 13 years or more. Although some of my experiences with the franchise in the past have been less than stellar. Me, Wife and Tax Deduction arrived at the Sonic for dinner this evening. We ordered a variety of things in order to try a little bit of everything. A single and a double cheeseburger, a Frito chili-cheese wrap, grilled cheese, fries and tater tots and some drinks. Everything was basically audible through the speaker and we waited for the food to come. But not long! Our order arrived lickety split, and it was correct! Ok, maybe that is a little impressive. Ouch. I can’t believe it, but it was one of the better fast food burgers I have had in a long time. It was large, it was tasty and you could actually taste the cheese. By the way the Tax Deduction was ripping through the grilled cheese it too must have been pretty good. I managed a little taste of it before I lost a finger to the flailing teeth of doom, everything tastes better with danger added. Ouch. Other things that were really decent about this Sonic was that they have an impressive diet soda collection, not just diet cola, but they had diet Sprite, low cal lemonade, diet Dr Pepper and iced teas of varying flavors. One of my gripes about today food joints, chains mostly, is the lack of variety for us diet drinkers. Sonic seems to have this handled well. Ouch. Other good things I had to endure was the bathroom was very clean(Men’s anyway), the servers were very nice and were nice to the Tax Deduction, there are a bunch of things left on the menu I want to try still and the prices are very very very reasonable. Ouch, ouch, ouch! I still miss A&W though…
