Pizza is a tough review, everyone’s opinion is different! I really like Sparky’s and go there often, however I have had better pizza. It is better than most however, and thus the 4 stars! It is better than Garlic Jim’s, Blind Onion, Pizza Hut, Dominos, basically anything we have available here! If you get a bad pizza here that you don’t like, it’s only because you didn’t order what you like! The breadsticks are amazing! I have had to wait in line to get Sparky’s pizza in Portland, and our neighborhood location might be Vancouver’s best kept secret.

This place is so dirty and disgusting they really need to clean it up. put a little time into cleaning up at least the areas where customers are sitting I can’t even imagine what the back part looks like where they make the food. there are handwritten signs all over the place taped up to everything. The employees have their hair down, probably falling in the food if they clean this place up more people would come because their pizza is good.

update 03÷10÷16. Went back to Sparkys again today because I enjoyed the pizza so much last time. Once again, the pizza was quite good. I had a meat veggie combo that really hit the spot. While eating my slice, i started looking around based off of what other reviews had said. OMG! What a filthy mess. I don’t think the floor has been swept in months, or mopped in a year. There was literally ¼ inch of dirt in places. The floor tables are finished in some kind of waxy substance as is the window table. This allows grime to accumulate on the surfaces and i could see black(mold?) in the window table crevices. I shudder to think what state the preparation surfaces and the refrigerator might be in. Whoever owns this chain needs to be more mindful of what is going on in their stores. I will go back at some point in the future to see if they have cleaned up their act at which point I will adjust my stars back up because the pizza was actually good. Until then, I can’t recommend anyone go here because of the potential health hazzard.

This place seems to be going downhill. Really needs to be hosed out. The floor is filthy! ! I don’t think it has ever been mopped. Don’t think we’ll be back. Pizza is ok.

Poor customer service. Young girls too worried about chatting. Pizza in warmer looked bad. Walked out and supported their competition, Round Table.

We were at the Goodwill in Salmon creek and spotted this lil’ pizza joint. Since we eat THai food all the time, my wife said this would be a nice change. Was very surprised at how good the pizza was ! And for what was lacking on the veggie the crust made up for it. Excellent crust ! I would go back !. Have only tried this place once but worth giving them a 4 star rating. Why not 5 you ask. The tables are coated with a waxy finish that we feel retains dirt. No, we are not eating off the table but believe this should be addressed. I wouldn’t let this keep me away from missing out on an excellent new spot. I read reviews about the help being subpar but that falls on management and their training or lack of. These young people need input on how to perform. The crew today did ok. Thanks for the delicious pizza.

I had been driving by this place for a decade, always at the wrong time of day. The place itself is pretty small; more than 10 people in here would be a real squeeze, IMO. It’s a New York style pizza; thin crust, tons of cheese and tough luck if you don’t like your tomatoes cooked. There is a display case of their various offerings that gives one a lot of nice choices if a slice is what you seek. The slices were of a pretty good size and I think just one would do the trick. They also sell large, mini-loaf sized bread sticks but i haxe yet to try them. There are 2 sizes of pies; large and giant. We got a giant half Italian veggie and half Canadian bacon and it fed 4 people for around 22 dollars. All in all, a pretty good pie, a pretty good price and Sparky’s is now part of my regular pizza rotation.

I really like their pizza… in fact so far it’s the only one near us in Salmon Creek that I do like. I always stop in for a slice and salad

Yummy pizza and amazing staff. My best friend is the manager here and it’s my favorite pizza place to stop for a quick slice and some friendly convo. :) love the options they have and the atmosphere.

I’m sorry to say that I’m no longer a customer and can’t recommend this place. The service is beyond horrible. Went in there last night to order a pie and was asked«What can I get you?» I told them my order and they started digging through tickets. «What name is that under, we can’t find it.» Huh? I just gave them my order. They then realized that I hadn’t called it in. I was told it would be 30 minutes. I can see they had 5 pizza’s lined up with sauce that had to still be baked. They only hire children and that’s the kind of service you get. They didn’t seem in any rush to make the orders they already had let alone take a new one. It’s fine to hire kids but they need adult supervision.

Sparky ’ s has gone down hill. We used to LOVE this place. We came regularly. We told all our friends about it. The pizza flavor was truly the best around. We are sad that now it’s just mediocre. The pizza has lost its flavor. The crust is different. It’s just OK. We thought maybe it was just a one time mistake or a cook that didn’t follow the recipe. So we went back. Same results. We went back again. Same. We have been disappointed in this Sparkys for the past 5 times. I guess it’s time to give up hope that the food would recover. I don’t know why they changed, but if the restaurant reads this and improves, feel free to contact me for a re-review. I still want to believe in you!

Average pizza and filthy, disgusting place. I arrived at 12:15 and only 3 other people were eating here. Should have been my first clue. Got their pizza by the slice(pepperoni & sausage and Canadian bacon and pineapple). Thought both were okay at best. Nothing about either stood out in any way. The place was disgusting. I started to sit at the wood counter at the window but, it was so filthy I was afraid to touch it much less eat off it. Wood tables were close behind needing a thorough cleaning. This is a one and done place. I won’t be back.

Good pricing for a standalone pizza joint. I go here while my sister gets allergy shots. The bread sticks are awesome the shticks taste great dipped in marinara.

Salmon Creek location. Best pizza we have found in the area. Fresh ingredients and a great crust. Good selection of pre-made, by the slice pizzas, and menu with original topping combos.

Sparky’s Pizza lived up to its name by bringing a tasty spark to an office lunch party. Even though many have worked nearby for years, they never knew Sparky’s was there … just waiting to put a pizza kaboom on hunger. Before getting to the pizza pies, I have to admit my favorite discovery at Sparky’s are the soft and chewy Sparky’s Giant Parmesan Bread Schticks with Marinara or Ranch Dressing. The names a gimmicky schtick, but these buttery and chewy cannons are always the first thing I attack. Best of all, get one FREE with Unilocal check-in. Otherwise, they’re just $ 0.99 each. These are my Pizza recommendations so far: * The Brooklyn: Italian Sausage, Pepperoni & Cherry Peppers * The Midtown Classic: Italian sausage, Pepperoni, Onions, Green Peppers & Mushrooms * The Manhattan: Ham, Ground Beef, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Olives, & Onions * The Chicago: Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, & Extra Cheese * The Hawaiian: Ham, Pineapple, & Extra Cheese Happy Hour at Sparky’s Pizza is 2:00 — 4:00 when you can get any two premade slices for $ 4.25. I’ve been a couple times now and there are usually 4 – 5 pizzas from which to choose slices with each around $ 3. Whether it is pizza by the slice or a whole pie, I’m a fan of Sparky’s Pizza in Salmon Creek near Mt. Vista … and, of course, don’t forget about Sparky’s Giant Schtick.

After eating their pizza a few more times I have to up the star rating for Sparky’s Pizza. I don’t know why pizza in the Couve is so darn expensive! My frugality prevents me from being comfortable paying almost $ 30 for a large specialty pizza anywhere. Enter Sparky’s to save the day. Their prices are just right and their crust, sauce, and toppings are tasty. You can’t beat their Dinner for 4 deal where you get a large specialty pizza, 6 parmesan bread sticks and a 2 liter of your choice of Coke products(cherry coke included!) all for $ 17.99. They now have coupons on their website with deals so check those out. I never have to bring the coupon in either since they are usually specials offered inside of the pizzeria as well. If there was one area that could use some improvement it would be the staff. Whenever I have gone in it has always consisted of high school aged girls who seem to be mad at life or the fact that they have to be at work. Although they have never been directly rude to me they do give off the feeling that you have imposed on them. I get it, teenage angst and high school has happened to the best of us, but please serve that pizza with a smile because us consumers have been through it all and are now living in the more stressful world of careers, kids and bills.

I love Sparky’s, the one on MLK and Lombard, walked into this Sparky’s location and all the meat slices were covered in mushrooms. I happen to hate mushrooms, sooooo I’m sure this Sparky’s has great pizza but I wouldn’t know. 4 stars for being part of a great chain, 0 stars for not having enough selection to try. 2 stars

A little more spice on that crust and make it a little thicker and I would give you 5 stars every day. Great combos.

We recently moved to Vancouver and this place was a convenient pit stop for us when we were unpacking and didn’t have any way to cook yet. They serve New York style pizza which was almost spot on save for the fact that the edge was too thick. Their various options are all very tasty though and serving by the slice meant we could taste almost all their options over the course of going here a couple of times. We will likely come back again when we get a hankering for a slice or perhaps take a whole pie to go.

This pizza is great. If you’re like me, you enjoy the interplay between a good crust, sauce, and cheese. Here at Sparky’s, they are all great quality. The toppings whatever you get are an instant bonus. If you are like some others who don’t really care if the crust or sauce is mediocre but just want a ton of cheese and toppings, maybe this isn’t the place for you. You can order pizza as a whole or by the slice. Always have a variety of slices to choose from. Also have salads and really good breadsticks. The staff is always nice and friendly. Great for getting a couple slices on the go. On a side note, I don’t think it’s fair that 2 of the one star ratings are due to Sparky’s website being/have been infected with malware and not based on the pizza. OK, I guess they have some web issues but the pizza here really is pretty good…
