Lived in area few months. Today found as a regular and Green member of Starbucks I was told needed to purchase before going to bathroom. This is lead to me waiting 15 minutes since my Blatter shouldn’t dictate purchase. Later on employee relinquished a drug problem has resulted in this procedure. As person who shows up to invest in coffee, last thing I’m doing is coming with my mother to shoot up in a bathroom. This is a horrific practice, the coffee shop is there for the people who come for coffee not degenerates who misuse it or management that mishandles them, why should policy dictate this treatment. As if I’m making a seen or have problem with person working, in reality they have problem. Don’t spend late nights here and expect discrimination.

Just got an iced coffee at Starbucks and no joke tastes straight up like milk with caramel!!! really pissed off, I can’t taste any coffee I even had My man try it and he couldn’t taste the coffee either!!! He said all he could taste is sugary milk, WTF Starbucks!!! And I think I’m just gonna start drinking gas since it’s cheaper than their overpriced coffee!

I always leave this starbucks annoyed. Drinks are consistently wrong and made poorly. I can’t figure out why this location is so popular other than it being open 24÷7…

The girl was very nice but each time I’ve came in they forgot important parts of my drink. Like decaf and soy. I’ll choose a different store next time.

i just submitted this letter to Starbucks Customer Service and I feel like it explains how I feel about this location: I will be avoiding the Starbucks located at 15502SE Mill Plain Boulevard in Vancouver, Washington in the future. With Starbucks being such a well established and fairly respectable chain, you should be able to expect the same standard of service across the brand. Unfortunately, this location does not live up to those expectations. I came into the store twice in the same day, once in the morning before work and then once in the evening before returning to work for a meeting. During the morning visit(Approximately 9:44am on Sunday August 9th, 2015) I saw that the drive thru line was fairly long, so I went inside to order. There was no one in front of me when I walked in, and I was the only person inside of the building ordering. I asked for a cheese Danish, warmed, and a grande iced coffee with vanilla and 2% milk. This is not a complicated order. My Danish arrived quickly, however I ended up waiting 7 minutes to get my iced coffee. To make this beverage you simply grab a cup, pump some vanilla syrup in it, pour some premade iced coffee into it, add a splash of 2% milk, put ice in, and put a lid on it. I can even get my own straw. There seems to be a serious lack of balance when it comes to handling drive thru and in store orders. The cashier finally had to ask another barista«is anyone making that iced coffee?» before it got made. I just don’t understand how you need 7 minutes to fulfill the order of the only individual in the store. By the time I got out to my car, I noticed that everyone who had been in the drive thru was gone and had already had their orders fulfilled. Later that evening(at 4:44pm on Sunday August 9th, 2015) I went back to that same location(which turned out to be a mistake) to use a Treat Receipt that I had got during my first purchase that morning. This time I opted for the drive thru, since it seemed like it was much faster during my morning visit. Another mistake. There were approximately 4 cars in front of me when I pulled up, and it took me over 15 minutes to place and receive my order(I left at 5:00pm). I don’t know if there is a goal time that should be met for how long each transaction should last, but this was another ridiculously long wait to me. It appeared that the car in front of me was so frustrated that he pulled away without even receiving his beverage. This time I ordered an iced green tea latte. I’m not sure what goes into making this but it doesn’t require blending and I didn’t even ask for whipped cream on it, so I’m not sure why it took so long yet again. I could see a few employees walking back and forth looking unsure of what they were doing. Once my drink was made it was set down by an employee where I could see it, but the employee running the window had walked off to do something else so I had to wait until they were finished with what they were doing before I could get my drink. I understand that multitasking is necessary sometimes, but why couldn’t the other employee have just handed me my drink that I already paid for so that I could get out and get on with my life? You may be questioning my time management skills at this point, but I feel confident that I could go to most Starbucks and get in and out of the drive thru in 10 minutes or less. If I could have I would have left the drive thru after 10 minutes of waiting, but I was trapped between cars so it was obviously impossible. After I got my beverage I was venting to my husband about what had happened. His response was«yeah, that one sucks, it’s always slow.» He is correct. This location is consistently slow and I will be taking my business to other locations that can perform with the type of speed and accuracy that I am accustomed to with other Starbucks locations. If this was the first time that I had experienced this, or maybe if it hadn’t happened twice in one day, I would be more understanding. I understand that it is a demanding job, but I feel like there needs to be a shift in how this location balances drive thru and in store orders. I don’t want this to be misconstrued and taken as I am upset with any of the employees as that is not the case. I believe that the problem lies within the culture of the location. Seeing as this is not a one-time problem, it is something that needs to be addressed and I sincerely hope that it is.

Usually I’d give them 3 to 4 stars but today they get one star. I ordered a Green Tea Frappuccino and waited over 15 minutes watching other people get their orders and leave. So I asked if they had misplaced my order. The barista asked me what I ordered and I told her. She said, «We don’t have ‘macha’». Not understanding what she meant, I asked again. She explained that they cannot make this drink without this«macha». I told her that no one told me that when I ordered and paid for the drink at the register. No one made a suggestion of an alternative I might like, just that I could get my money back. I went back to the register and the cashier was very nice and apologetic. She gave me a card for a free drink next time. Instead of getting my money back I changed my order to a Citrus Refresher. It was not made immediately but put in the line-up with other orders in front. Another wait. When I got my drink and was walking back to my office, I noticed the lime floating on top was brown. When I got to my office and opened the drink, I fished out all the lime slices and they were all brown and slimey! Why would you serve a customer such a disgusting product?

Good service generally, but they don’t seem to understand the concept of black coffee. I’ve gotten all sorts of things added to my BLACK iced coffee. Its large with good seating but crowded, as the other nearby coffee places close early. Parking is a trainwreck as well.

Only giving 4 stars because of the overall cleanliness of this location. Bathrooms are atrocious today. Not sure if it’s always like that, but definitely very gross on this visit. The seating area is also very disheveled and dirty. On a good note, the service was quick, friendly, and my order correct…

Service really depends on the person who serves you that day. Sometimes the service is awesome and you leave feeling happy. Other times you feel forgotten. For example, the last time I visited, it took over 20 minutes to get my caramel macchiato. They never called my name. After glancing over at the counter repeatedly and not seeing my order there, they finally called my name. Coffee was cold at that point so I’m assuming someone made it and left it behind the counter. Oh yeah, and they spelled my name wrong after I spelled it out for them. It’s okay though. It is what I expect from most Starbucks these days.

Most weeks: 5 stars. This week: 1 star. Greatly disappointed. I frequent this Starbucks regularly, and I have never experienced such a rude employee as Kali. She went out of her way to let me know what an inconvenience I was causing by ordering so many drinks without calling ahead. Then, two days later she refused to engage me. She took my card, ran the card, glared at me and said«They’re coming…». I know that I am not originally from Vancouver, but where I was raised«hello» was a common greeting. Using other phrases such as «thank you» and«you’re welcome» are also quite nice. Just a suggestion: if you are that displeased with your job please look for another. I would prefer not to have your ill disposition negatively impact my day… You’re welcome. By the way: Grant, love seeing your face in the morning!

For a Starbucks, this place is pretty decent. I like the outdoor seating… just wish there was less road noise, but since it’s on Mill Plain, it’s hardly their fault. I used to spend more time at this location when I worked around here, and it hasn’t changed much since then. Plenty of inside seating too.

You know if I could give no stars at all I would! I myself work at a Starbucks and I would never treat people how my friend and I were treated here. After already purchasing 2 beverages and sitting there for 2 hours I went back up to order 2 new beverages, knowing that our stores currently are not selling the mocha cookie crumble I ordered a java chip frap with vanilla … This is not the cookie crumble which contains cookies on top and chocolate whipped cream all of which are built into the drink price. I paid for the 2 drinks and got the syrup free. 10 minutes pass all thats happening is walking around and not making our beverages the guy behind me was given his Americano and 2 other guests were given there drinks as well. I returned to my seat to wait for these beverages that may or may not arrive. When I walked up there 5 minutes later, I could over hear very rudely the two girls talk about how I needed to be charged for a mocha cookie crumble and how they are the same beverage, I will reiterate that a cookie crumble has the chocolate whip and crumbles built into the price a java chip with vanilla is cheaper because it doesn’t have all the fancy things. But to keep things going they continue to fight over the beverage and how I «should have been charged more» and somehow forget to make our other beverage that I had to return because there was no raspberry as stated on the label … Really you cant look at the label before you pass off the beverage. And to think I’m a fellow partner but above all else I’m a customer!

I used to be Starbucks biggest fan. There could be no greater place to enjoy coffee. That is until I discovered Stumptown. Sorry, they are far superior… by a long shot. However, when I’m in Vancouver and away from Stumptown, I’ll stop in at this Starbucks location sometimes. Even though they are always super busy, I’ve noticed that the employees are always extremely nice, upbeat and friendly. I really appreciate seeing people who atleast look like they enjoy their jobs, and these people always do. I’ve had a few instances where the line gets so bogged up that they forget whether my drink order was an iced or hot and they have just offered the extra coffee to me for free, which makes up for the added wait to get my original order. A+ for service.

I frequent here and for the most part I am usually quite satisfied. Though it is your everyday Starbucks, the employees are always cheerful and the coffee is what I expect. The length of time it takes to fill an order is always in a reasonable time, wether it be drive-thru or lobby. They do a great job with large orders and I have never(knock on wood) seen them mess up an order. With that being said, it is Starbucks and they do have your basic coffee, but if you’re in the area(specifically just the corner of Chkalov and Mill Plain on the account of there are SEVERAL in the area) looking for that special Starbucks coffee you always get, this one will suffice.
