Jersey Fried Chicken, New York Fried Chicken, Detroit Fried Chicken… they’re all the same. If you’re in the area and don’t know what to eat, stop by and get something from here. It’s cheap and filling. It’s almost exactly the same as NYFC; they sell chicken, gyros, gyro plates, burgers, whiting fish plates, and various sweets. They sell ice cream, too, albeit a limited selection. I suggest getting a gyro for $ 3.99. You get a decent amount of lamb/beef mix in a giant pita topped with plenty of vegetables and ranch dressing. If you want chicken, it’s a buck extra. Still, I’ve ordered both and this place makes a decent gyro, much better than NYFC in South Orange. The«buffalo wings» aren’t doused in sauce, which I am still looking for, but they’re battered and fried; 20pcs is only $ 13. They’re small and can be a bit too salty at times. There are only two people working, but the food comes out quick. They’re open until midnight, if I recall correctly. Don’t bother going that late though.

Cheap fried chicken place for pick-up only. Chicken is always moist,(even their breast meat), hot, crispy, flavorful and really cheap. Some might find it a bit salty but i think its flavored/marinated perfectly. I drive about 30 minutes just to get their chicken.

Place has deteriorated with new ownership. Orders constantly flubbed. Huge family always behind counter eating the food.

This is a hell of a chicken restaurant. Way better than your average commercial brands of chicken. This is far from your sit in restaurant when it comes to dining in but great chicken to go. They also do gyros, wraps and you could even get ice cream. Another good place that can easily be overlooked.

The fried chicken is what you’d expect at an independent joint — far better than any of the commercial brands, obviously. Quick, friendly service, reasonable though limited selection. A lot of what they have available isn’t on the menu!(Ice cream, sweet potato pie…) If there is one thing I’m going to order every time I come back, it’ll be the mozz sticks. I don’t care where they come from, they are delicious and cheap.
