We ate breakfast here and loved the Eggs Benedict and the Mushroom Omelet with egg beaters. The food was so tasty and fresh. Our server, Mackenzie was perfect. She was extremely pleasure and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to go back for lunch.

Today I had one of the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had along with a bowl of Manhattan Clam Chowder and delicious onion rings. We have had many wonderful breakfasts here and can now vouch for delicious lunches as well! The décor is cute and clean, service quick and efficient and the menu choices perfect. Everything is homemade by obviously a very talented chef/owner and it’s clear they gave their act together, staff work as a team and food is delivered hot off the grill. While this is not a large restaurant there is extra seating outside, we just wish it was opened for dinner but lunch and breakfast are well worth the trip!

I have just two words for you… BLUEBERRY PANCAKES. No wait, I have THREE words for you WORTH THE WAIT. I chose this spot for my birthday breakfast and waited outside on a windy 56 degree morning for twenty minutes. We were not disappointed. Happy Birthday to ME!

Ok. Mixed review… 2 couples … ½ of us ordered the fish tacos Mmmmm yummy! And the guys ordered burgers… not much flavor. Looked better than they tasted. Fries were quite good. Service was excellent. So many other wonderful things that, I’m sure, would have been awesome. So… Want a burger… Go to a burger place. Want fresh delicious seafood and other unique items … Go there. As we looked at the other tables, we saw some really outstanding items coming out of the kitchen.

After hearing many great things about this restaurant I finally gave it a try. The food looked great and tasted great. I could not help but want to try everything that was being served to surrounding tables.

Went to the New Year Dinner which was delicious! Chef Allan and Kim had great choices on the menu, we all had something different and no one was disappointed ! We always have fabulous meals at the Blu’ Island Bistro. Great place to bring friends for a treat, can always count on the menu. Sorry no regular dinners but look for specials!

This is the second time I’ve been here and they never disappoint. The service is great, waitresses are very friendly. Food comes out very quickly and is amazing. I ordered their eggs Benedict and also tried their banana pancakes (finger licking good)! Their homemade hot sauce is pretty great too! They are always very consistent with their service and food. Highly recommend this place!

This place lived up to the hype. We are here for the weekend and came in for brunch. Loved the vibe and décor as soon as we walked in. The service was so attentive, the owner was a sweetheart, and the food rocked! My guy says the best poached eggs and hollandaise sauce he’s ever had. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks guys!

Had breakfast there 3 weeks ago. Just amazing like everyone says. Listen to your waitress. I was torn between two dishes but she said the corn beef hash is a special, made fresh form their own corn beef and it is only available once in a while. Now I love this dish. It was by far the best I ever had. Now I know the difference between fresh and really home made and the others.
Going for lunch there today. I think I’ll try the taco’s everyone raves about.

Love the down to earth friendly & efficient staff. This was a real surprise but thanks to Unilocal we found it. The food was first class with that urban east coast sophistication that was not expected in Venice… but then, of course, Chef was from the Philly area so it all made sense. Also, it seemed like we were surrounded by New Yorkers & Jerseyans. Could never go anywhere without running into Jerseyans.

Our family enjoy this gem of a place off the beaten path from downtown for lunch.
The crab cake sandwich top everything. Service just right. Breakfast items were delightful.

While the motel next door may not let you know what awaits you, the Blu
Island Bistro is that perfect little breakfast and lunch spot (I have not
yet tried their game meat nights)
Eggs Benedict on pastrami — Brilliant.
Good pancakes and a list of specials.
Fried green tomato BLT, homemade muffins and pleasant service. Outside
offers doggie dining option (especially fun after going to the dog beach
for a swim with the pups) Indoor has a cute décor and complimentary coffee
and mini muffin while there is a wait which is often on the weekends.

Make this a must do while you are in Venice! The menu of unique protein choices drew us in & I’m so glad we went! We started w/the grouper cheeks which were seasoned very well. Then I ordered the Caprese salad & my mom had the wedge salad… both of which were wonderful! For entrees we choose blackened sea scallops & the buffalo steak. Delicious dinner & the wine pairings were good as well!
Dinner is only served Friday & Saturday nights. I would highly recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is not very large.

We visited on Easter Sunday. There was a very brief wait. We ordered the banana French toast, western omelet, home fries, and my a breakfast sandwich.
Everything was delicious! I have to say that this was the best breakfast out we’ve had in a really long time. My husband and I were extremely impressed. My 2-year-old son was as well. He ate his entire plate of banana French toast. I took a couple of bites of it, and I could see why he loved it! I definitely recommend getting the French toast. The home fries were very different that I was expecting, but the were good.
Service was awesome too! They gave my son a surprise Easter egg as a little gift for Easter. That was a nice touch. Next time we go to Venice, we will be back!

Our family of 5 came for breakfast and we were seated right away. Coloring books and a pitcher of crayons appeared immediately. Super cute interior with throw pillows on the benches. Extremely friendly staff who treated everyone like a regular… maybe we were the only non-regulars. Quiet, cozy, comfortable.
The food was GREAT. Simple basics done right. It can be hard to find food in this area that isn’t batter fried or smothered in white sauce (or both)…this spot is like a breath of fresh air.
Did I mention it’s cheap?
We were there yesterday and are now plotting to go back again today.
