Denny’s

I’ve been disappointing in the quality of their food, both times i went there the food was just not good, But i guess you get what you payed for, the people are nice there though

Our first and definitely last time coming here. Stopped for breakfast. Badly cooked, with eggs done wrong, doughy pancakes, burnt bacon & sausage, burnt toast and supposedly red potatoes that were actually russets. Then the inattentive wait staff took so long to deliver this wretched fare that everything was stone cold upon arrival. No one came to the table after that to see how we liked our meals or to ask if we needed anything. The waitress just delivered the bill after we pushed our unfinished plates to the side.
With this kind of food and service why would anyone come here more than once?

I had to send my food back three times and they still cannot get the Eggs cooked right and then the rest of the food got cold. I asked for a manager and was told there is none right now. I then told them I am not paying for cold food and eggs I cannot get cooked right, the waitress told me «then go, I don’t care» so I left.

Ugh. It’s Dennys so expectations are already low that I will get a good meal and that it will be hot and/​or delivered on time and correct. This Dennys fails the most basic test of service. Food was good when an hour later it finally came out correctly. The server delivered our food wrong, knew she delivered it wrong and still put in on the table and started to walk away.
If there is an upside it is that she took accountability which is rare but no manager came by to apologize, nothing was done to make our bill better and then we had to wait at the counter for almost 10 minutes for someone to check us out.
To add insult to injury in the middle of a very busy shift for dinner someone came by to vacuum under my chair for no discernable reason and kept knocking it without so much as an acknowledgement that I was currently occupying said chair. With Perkins 2 blocks away I will happily take my breakfast for dinner cravings elsewhere.

Place looks great, the people are friendly but the Meal I had tasted like a frozen dinner that wasn’t heated up all the way. C’mon Denny’s need you to step your game up

I LOVE my dennys in TOWN. First of I Actually really like there food. The chefs never have had a problem with me ordering my meal that is no longer on their menu. Chicken buffulo sandwich on ciabatta bread. And even just sometimes get pankcake puppies to Go.(love them) whe the red velvet cake ones come back il be thrilled, for now I have them make choc. chip! Anyway neither is on menu, they never give me hassle… The counter Staff is always giving me compliments. And I have always gotten really good wait staff… Prices u just cant beat. Dennys in Venice is Definitely the place to go for a super casual GOOD meal when you dont eant to cook nor spend a fortune!

I dont think I ever imagined Denny’s as just fast food. If you can think of a way to mess up food Denny’s has managed just that. My mistake for stopping.

Love Dennys, especially on a late night after some drinks. Great food and great service!
