Gteat quality, portions and price. On time delivery and good menu selection. Highly recommend.

I love the food at Johnnie’s– I love to order Giovanni’s calzone or the spinach ravioli. Only problem is Customer Service. I used to go to Johnnies and dine in and have garlic knots galore and felt like the staff actually wanted me there. Nowadays you place a phone order and the person on the other end has an attitude or sounds frustrated on the phone. Same thing when you pick up to go orders. Unfortunately I do not dine in at Johnnie’s anymore sine I don’t like the vibe of the place. I would feel better if they would throw in a few garlic knots for every pick up order and sound a bit happier that someone wants to go to your establishment.

Love their food, but will someone please remove the large stick in whoever’s ass that answers the phone? Borderline offensive.

I order from here every few weeks. Consistent and reliable. I’m from Chicago and my pizza expectations are high. These guys do a nice job.

I ordered a Sausage and peppers sandwich. It smelled and look delicious however, once I got home and started eating I realized that there was no sausage! Wait, I take that back, there were 5 nickel sized slices of sausage. That was all, on the whole sandwich! I considered asking for my money back but, in the the days of the internet I thought it better to warn people about going here instead. To be fair, I have not tried the pizza but, I won’t be going back to find out.

Sauceless pizza. Girl on the phone was great but was sorry to inform management would only be willing to send sauce by driver. !!! 40 minutes later to add to my pizza? $ 20 for a pizza that has just the minimum and not even that. What a jip.

We’ve ordered home delivery 5 times now from the Johnnies on Abbott Kinney. 4 times they have gotten the salad wrong and the pizza we ordered has not been correct 4 out of the 5 times. Last night we ordered the Johnnies Comb(as always) and received a pepperoni and sliced onion pizza with minimal sauce, plus it was cold when we received it! The salad had a funny taste to it. Both my husband and I woke up in the middle of the night and could not get back to sleep. Last try. We won’t be doing any more business with this establishment. Why are they always getting the orders wrong and what are they putting in the food?

The woman that takes your order is extremely abrasive and scolds you for not ordering by the menu names. Had to call back to let them know I wanted delivery. «In the future when you order you need to make it clear whether it’s pickup or delivery.» I guess I expected the service professional on the other end of the phone to establish that clarity. I just said, «I have an order. I’d like yada, yada, yada»…then you spouted out a price and hung up on me. It actually took me a couple of minutes to realize, hmmm, they have no idea where I live. Called back and got a tutorial on ordering from Johnie’s. Super fun customer experience. I’ll pass.

Just not good at all. Cheese and sauce are low quality and flavorless. Lots of better options around the area

Best pizza I have found so far on the west side. I’ve been looking for a good lazy Friday night pizza that wasn’t fancy– here you can get a pepperoni pizza that isn’t greasy I will order from here again– I can’t wait to– New York style pizza pie. No complaints about anything. We also got the spicy sausage and yellow pepper pizza-For two of us we got two mediums and had some left over for lunch

The calzone had zero cheese inside, the vegetables were raw, the meat was non-existent, horrible crust, wasn’t hot, horrible terrible, no good, very bad Johnnie’s. Oh, yeah, got the wings as well. You know when you microwave frozen wings and theyre just mushy terrible sad and dream-killing? these wings are worse than that. straight up. Never go here. Shun this place. Shun it hard.

Originally I gave this place 5 stars because it was bomb! Lately it has been inconsistent which is so unfortunate because I loved this place. I’ve recently received not fully cooked pizza(which I was able to save by tossing it in my own oven), Minestrone broth. not soup, and watery/oily pasta. I hesitantly complained hoping for a resolution but they weren’t problem solvers. The guy asked me what I wanted him to do. Because I had ordered from a third party(eat 24) he said he couldn’t give me a refund. Lies. Kindly he gave me a credit for my next order, hopefully the food improves by the time I’m ready to order again. Update to come. maybe

Most of the reviews on here accurate. I must disagree with those who say the customer service is no good. I had a great experience here with the employees. I was greeted quickly and given recommendations on the menu by the cashier. Even the pizza delivery guys or cool greeting me as I sat down. This place is comfortable and not as busy as most of the places on Abbott Kinney. This is a great thing. The food is great and the service is amazing. I will definitely stop by Johnny’s pizza again.

My experience with Johnnie’s has always been great! I don’t do take out or go to the restaurant I always order delivery and it comes perfect every time(knock wood). We ordered a large half pepperoni half Mediterranean and it was delicious. I love the thin New York crust; plenty of toppings & huge. What more do you need? Tip: this place often runs coupon deals so search company name plus coupon and you’d be surprised what you might find. I got $ 3 off a large pizza making it 17 bucks. Winner!

I personally love this place. I mean yeah. it’s on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Their pizza is delicious, I love the thin crust. The ham and pinapple is my favorite, but I’m always down with the classics like the pepperoni or the plain olé tomatoes and cheese. I’ve been to another Johnnies on 3rd street in Santa Monica and the pizza there was ok but this one is way better. Both food– and service wise. Probably because of all the busloads of tourists that’s hanging out on there. I actually wanted to comment on what some other Unilocaler said about the service and one of the cashiers/waitresses; every time I’ve gone there, Vida(as mentioned by another Unilocaler), has always been super nice to me. I was actually surprised to read that since she was the reason I decided to go on here and rate Johnnies in the first place. In my experience, when ordering over the phone at any place things always seems to go wrong. hence why I almost never do it anymore unless I really, reeeaally have to. 5 stars for food and service –1 star for burning a tiny hole in my wallet everytime I go there(compared to when I just need to fill my pizza cravings and go to little c’s) :)

Two Stars for Johnnies NY Pizza! The restaurant serves generous portions of pizza, but the customer service needs help! I ordered the two slice pizza with medium drink for $ 8.00. The two pieces of pizza were pretty big. The style of dough is very thick and chewy. Nice! My main complaint, like many of the other reviewers, is that the customer service was pretty bad. Employees had a «Don’t give a $hi*» attitude. It appears that this place is owned by two Korean brothers, which I’m more than glad to support. BUT, everyone at this place was talking story the entire time and ignored the customers. Food Grade: C+ Service Grade: D Worth the Money Grade: B+ Overall Impression: C–
