Worst customer service ever!!! We rented 6 bikes here today and after riding for about 30 minutes one of the bikes broke! We were about a mile away and the brake and gear on the back tire locked. We brought the bikes back and they wanted to charge us for the 2hr rental even though the bike was broken and we had it for less than an hour. Not only were the employees rude, but then they accused us of breaking the bike! Seriously? Stay away!!! There are plenty of other places to rent bikes along the boardwalk.

Great and easy experience. We ended up here because of the $ 15 all day bike rental groupon deal and ended up renting their 4 person bike which was extremely fun. We rode it all the way down to the Santa Monica pier. Highly recommended!

Naturally my highest rating. This is by far the best bike rental place in Venice. Clean, Very Friendly, all new equipment. Henry is the best. Usually I write to complain about something. I had actually given up on expecting good service in this day and age so I don’t expect to be treated great. If your looking for the best in Venice give them a try they rent all types of equipment, great prices and great people. I never go anywhere else i am hooked. I am a native so I know my way around Venice. They make you feel good about your experience.

Bikes were top notch quality and they even gave free baskets if you wanted them.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. We were allowed to return the bikes after they closed the shop or even keep them over night (ie they are VERY flexible).
Biking along the beach was the most fun part of my trip to LA! I highly recommend doing it and renting from this place.

Very nice service, All new bikes at same Price level as other shops around (but their bikes look more used). We rented for 48 hours and they were very flexible with the rental agreement — and everything was done digital, no paperwork…

On a family vacation we used them for a cycling trip around Venice beach. They also have a valet park which was useful as it was one shop stop.
The staff were friendly and they bicycles are all new and therefore well maintained.
Recommend them.

During my visit to Los Angeles I wanted to rent bikes and ride along the Venice/​Santa Monica boardwalks. Long and behold, groupon was having a $ 15 all day rental at Vencie Beach Station. I purchased the Groupon on my phone.
We checked Unilocal for opening time and it said 10am so we showed up at 10am (but opens at 1030) Venice Beach Station shares it’s space with a public parking place so you are instantly greeted.
When we went into the shop we were instantly helped, signed waivers, and given new beach cruisers (they have masculine men’s bikes and women’s bikes) all in a matter of minutes.
My experience overall was great and I highly recommend Venice Beach Station! The location is convenient to the beach too!

I used the $ 15 for $ 35 Groupon for a full day bike rental. I literally called 30 minutes before getting to the beach to reserve a bike. They were very friendly.
They are located right on Venice Way right in the center of it all so its easy to pick up and drop off the bikes. It is a new place so all the bikes are brand new (They are pretty stylish and I kept getting asked where I bought my bike).
The bikes are beach cruisers so they are very sturdy, very smooth, they come with a lock and key, and the female bikes have baskets which are useful!
I would definitely recommend this bike rental station to anyone looking for a sturdy, stylish bike to rent in Venice Beach.

This is by far the best customer service I have ever recieved! They have wonderful brand new bikes and great prices! I definitely recommend if your looking for somewhere to rent a bike or skateboard this is the place to be! (:
