Avis Rent A Car

There’s a hidden clause that you need a certain credit score to rent a car from Avis. We made reservations and were told the day of that my boyfriend would be unable to rent a car, totally putting our vacation on hold! The Avis employee was very rude and unhelpful. I thought it might be a standard procedure for all car rental places, but Hertz was happy to accommodate us. I’m glad we took our business elsewhere.

Overcharged me without my permission! Now I have to file a dispute with my bank. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! They added on charges I did not agree to without my permission.

We have rented from this Avis a couple times now. We price checked a few different places and their prices were the best. We reserved a van this past February because we needed to visit family up north and bring back a piece of furniture on our return trip. When we picked up the van, the gentleman who helped us showed us another van that suited our needs better. When we got back into town we called to see if we could return the van early. Turns out we got a discount for a Monday return so we got to keep this nice van an extra day. Bottom line: good service, good vehicles, good prices… we’ll be back

One of my worst customer service experiences. I returned my car on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one agent, Mike, when they should’ve had more as there were four customers waiting. I waited about ten minutes for the agent to deal with a stressful situation with the customer ahead of me. By the time my turn came, the agent was disgruntled and grumpy. He berated me for returning my car early. He also complained that «this would be difficult,» which promoted me to ask how long the return process would take, he told me he has many things he needed to do and that I wouldn’t understand. He also said the more I ask him, the longer it will take. I do understand the process as I booked the car online and basically he just had to reconfigure and reshop my rate. I recommend renting a car elsewhere.

Terrible experience with this Avis location. The guy working here was very rude to me and acted like turning in my car was an inconvenience to him. I was just happy to get out of there. Then I got my bill and he had over changed me $ 140 too much. I had to call reservations and they were able to correct it and had no idea why he changed me so much. Do not trust this Avis location.

I rented a car here and I found the person who helped me to be perfectly courteous and patient. Not only that, he informed me about a program which would allow me to rent at a discount and gave me an upgrade to a better car. When I called to let him know that I had to leave early, he was also prompt and courteous. So I’m not seeing what’s up with the customer service issues.

Customer service is a joke they never want to help. They never have cars are stuck the reserve for online you call their service hotline they will not upgrade they will not adjust rates they will not refund money they deserve to go out of business. where has customer service gone?

Worked with Manny when needed car while mine was in shop. Great friendly service. Rented car for two weeks but only neded for one, return was no hastle. I will be back!!!

Mike has the worst customer service skills. We rent at this location often (monthly) because it’s so close to home. You would think because I am there so often that they would appreciate the business. Yet, Each and every time we go in we are treated as if we are keeping them from something more important. When asked a question he’s rude and gives smart ass responses. News flash asshole if you don’t like your job GET ANOTHER ONE, preferable NOT in customer service!

The best service anywhere … Don’t rent from anyone else. Manny and Mike know customer service!
