What can you say about a wonderful local hidden treasure such as this! The wines are absolutely fabulous! I am a fan of whites and reds. It is rare that a winery produces varietals that capture my interest and palette so thoroughly. The newly released Sauvignon Blanc is delicious! They even created a Rose I love, though I’m typically not a fan. Ah, and then you get to the reds! A line up that is so bountiful and bold! There is a wonderful tasting red for every palette. I love the Pinot Noirs! If you are not sure what to try, Gregory, their sommelier will steer you in the right direction. Overall, this place has great wine, outstanding service and a great location! I love it and would recommend it to everyone!

Delicious wines! There is a certified sommelier behind the bar (Gregory) who is not only very personable and funny but very knowledgable. Relaxing atmosphere and great club membership benefits. Highly recommend !

Everything comes down to the quality of the wine. I became a member their first year open and glad I did. The wine maker has been making wines for years. His passion is probably his Pinot Noir as they have a variety every year that are always amazing. I have never liked a blush wine until I had the Rose, it is out of this world and his Tempranillos are always a great drink.
This is a winery tasting room that is perfect. Gregory is their somalia and is there most days they are open. He has a great knowledge of wine and a dry corny sense of humor which makes a tasting there a blast. Ed is the co-​owner and he too has vast wine knowledge with a very kind and approachable attitude.
I could not like a place more. A tasting is $ 10 and worth every penny, but the best part is buy 2 wines and it is free. Their wines are priced well the Rose, Cab, and mix Freebird are all affordable. I hate that feeling when you spend more money on a wine and cringe because you just don’t enjoy it much, and what makes this place special is I have yet to have that experience. They just make quality balanced wine consistently.

Good deal found on Unilocal that was $ 10 for $ 20 (two tasting for one). Wine was medium. The tasting was all the cheapest bottles they had, except for the pinor noir, which they were featuring. The people working were pretty slow to respond, but were friendly

We had such a lovely experience tasting here. The wines are pretty great, plus it’s in the cute downtown in Ventura. Would definitely recommend swinging in!

This is a cute little wine tasting room right on Main Street in Ventura. I loved getting to sample all of the wines and spend way too much time lingering over good conversation. They have some adorable little gifts around the room. That being said, I didn’t love the wines. They simply weren’t my style. The owner was really friendly, the location was great, but I personally found the wine to be lacking.

My wife and I were walking around downtown Ventura on Valentines day after dinner, when we noticed Labrynth and decided to check it out. The atmosphere was Ok, they had a special wine and chocolate paring, it was good and the owner was friendly.

I have been waiting to write this review until I attended my free club member class and tonight I did just that!!! I have had a membership to this wine club for almost a year and it has been one of the most rewarding experience I have had in a long time! I joined this winery because it was close by my work, and the person who was working serving the wine, Greg, was super personable! Of course the wine is super delicious as well! I have been a member of this winery since June of last year, and included in the membership is 1 free wine class, I finally captitalized on that class tonight! The wine class I attended, the «wine pairing with chocolate» class, was so much fun! I learned so much about chocolate and wine and I got more information on how both are made including their health benefits, in addition I learned more about the chemical as well as the nutritional components of both!
I am blown away by the knowledge and the generous tastings that I enjoyed tonight. In addition to having a great experience with the class itself, I have to say that these wines are really top notch! I got to try a new Syrah that hasn’t been released yet, and it was monumental to say the least!
I have never joined a wine club before, but this wine club came with a free tasting for myself and a guest once a month, and since June of 2014, I have come every single month to take advantage of this. I didn’t really know what to expect being a wine club member, since this was my first experience, but it has been so amazing! I am seriously impressed! I have gotten to know the owner, as well as his staff, and am really pleased with how comfortable and at home they make me feel, even when I am more than likely their lowest paying club member. I am a full time student and don’t have extra income to buy a lot of wine, so becoming a member of a club is a huge deal for me and not something to be blasé about, which is why this whole thing means so much to me that I would actually write a review!
Even though I have only bought 1 bottle over the required shipment allotment, and I absolutely show up for my monthly free tastings, the owner and the staff treat me like I am family! They never leave me feeling like I’m not important because I don’t spend enough, which is kind of how I expected to be treated given my measly contribution!
I can wholeheartedly say this has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life, a huge wine club member party that I cannot begin to describe the awesomeness, monthly free tastings for me and a friend, and now today my free class which I has been so much fun, this is the winery to join alliances with for sure!
Did I mention the Syrah I tried tonight??? Holy crap it was a show stopper! Hasn’t been released yet, watch out!
Greg is the best wine host ever, I have spent much time in Santa Barbara county at various wineries, and never once have I met anyone as personable and knowledgable as Greg! If you live in Ventura and you love great wine, this is a worth while investment of your money!

Gregory was fantastic pouring us a tasting and then free bird! Love freebird Fridays with top notch wines for $ 5. Excellent wines great hometown feel with a sommelier /​bartender! Doesn’t get better than this on a Friday night!

The service that Ed at Labyrinth provides is top notch. I’ve experienced it first hand. Great wines and he provides a great education as well. I have sent several people to his tasting room. I’ve heard nothing but good reviews, and I can recommend Labyrinth Winery without hesitation.

This was the first time I’ve ever done a wine flight where I liked every single wine!!!
I bought a bottle of the Voigner in the past and loved it. I had my niece in town, and we decided to pop in and pick up another bottle. If you bought 2 bottles, you got a free tasting. By the time we were done, I was joining the wine club, and walked away with 3 bottles of wine!
This place is a must visit!

Such an enjoyable evening with guitar man Warren playing some classic rock tunes. The place was hopping with wonder energy and the staff were so kind with samples of wine I was unfamiliar with — ended up with a glass of delicious Pinot Noir.

Lovely tasting room. The Cabernet and Freebird are my favorites. Reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable staff. Nice place to just stop by or schedule a small group tasting of your own. Ed is the best!

Love this tasting room! Wine is superb. My favs are the FreeBird and the Pinot. Wine club pick up parties are fun. Very simple and zen atmosphere. Wonderful wineglass chandeliers. Very kind employees.
The only downer is that they close early so I can’t visit as much as I like and end up going elsewhere even though the wine isn’t as good.

Glad we stopped! 10 for the flight of 4 which is standard now so we can’t complain. Luckily, it wasn’t regretful. Chardonnay was excellent. Not abundantly oaky or buttery. Bien Nacido pinot was solid. Our favorite was the cab. Definitely has different character than a Napa cab. Paso cabs seem more mild but went great with our tri tip BBQed tonight.
One of the best parts of the visits was Amy. Cool chick who was fun to talk to and just very genuine. Knowledgable about wine and the regions the wines are from. She gets 6 stars.

Kudos to Ed, Stephanie and Amy! What a great addition to the Ventura business community.
The tasting room is very nice to visit and the doggie water dish out front a nice touch for our four legged friends. The wines are very nice. The Rose will be very refreshing on a warm Ventura afternoon and the Cabernet a welcomed addition to a great steak dinner.
All in all I found all their wines to be very enjoyable and I know I will be back many times in the future.
